Zu der mit Eiswasser angerührten Paste des Sul- fochlorids wird eine neutrale wässrige Lösung von etwa 33 kg m-Aminophenol gegeben;
Lösungsfarbe in Wasser braunoliv, in konzentnierter Schwefelsäure bomdo.

where X:
and Y the above. @ have given meaning.
The azo dyes of the phthalocyanine series prepared according to the invention preferably contain at least 2 solubilizing groups, such as COOH- o: the SO @ H groups. It is advisable if there are more sulfo groups or COOH groups:
so that the dyes or their salts have sufficient solubility in water.
The new dyes can be used for dyeing animal fibers and synthetic polyamide fibers). In particular, when dyeing and printing on cotton and rayon from regenerative cellulose in the presence of acid-binding agents or alkaline agents at higher temperatures, e.g.
B. when steaming, often lightfast and clear green, dark green, olive green, brown, blue, navy blue, gray to black shades. The dyeings are characterized by: good wet fastness properties, because the dyes form a chemical bond with the fiber.
By selecting the components and introducing a more or less large number of Azogmppen, it is up to you to change the color.
Example 1 57.6 kg copper phthalo.cyanine are introduced into about 550 kg chlorosulfonic acid at about 20-3: 0. The temperature is increased to 130-140 and held at 140 for about 2 hours. After cooling to 80-85, about 50-70 kg of thionyl chloride are added and the temperature is kept at 90-93 for a few hours.
It is then allowed to cool and the reaction mixture is poured onto about 3000 kg of ice, the sulfochloride which has precipitated is filtered off with suction and washed out with ice water.
About 88 kg of 1 (3'-aminophenyl) -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid are dissolved in water: neutral with the necessary amount of soda. At 5-10 you enter the paste of copper-phühalocyannnsulfochlorxds and neutralize by adding So.dalösung. Then about 40 liters of pyridine are added and the mixture is stirred until everything has dissolved.
By adding potassium chloride and hydrochloric acid, the condensation product can be separated off, filtered and, if necessary, freed from any unreacted pyrazolone-carboxylic acid by washing.
About 111 μl of 1 (ss-chloropropionylamino) -3-aminobenzene-4-sulfonic acid are diazotized in the usual way at about 15-20 with sodium nitrite and hydrochloric acid. The diazo suspension obtained is combined with the aqueous solution of the above condensation product in the presence of excess sodium bicarbonate. A green dye solution is obtained. After acidifying with acetic acid and warming to 70, the dye is separated off with table salt.
It delivers after filtering and drying. dark green water-soluble powder that dissolves in water and dilute acetic acid or formic acid with a bright green color and in concentrated sulfuric acid with an olive green color. When printing on cotton in the presence of soda or sodium bicarbonate, the dye, after steaming and soaping, provides wash- and lightfast; yellow, pungent green colorations.
If, in the above example, the equivalent amount of 1 (3'-amino-2'-methyl-5'-sulfophenyl) -3-methyl is substituted for 1 (3'-aminophenyl) -5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid -5-pyrozolone and couples the condensation product in an analogous manner with the diazo compound of 1 (ss-chloropropionylamino) -3-aminobenzene-4-sulfonic acid, the result is a dye that is printed on cotton with alkaline agents,
also provides yellowish green tones. The colors are white etched.
If only about half to 1 / s of the amount given above is used of the pyrazolone component and of the diazo component, then dyes are obtained which give blue tones of green.
If, instead of the diazo compounds from 1 (ß-chloropropionylamino) -3-aminobenzene-4-, sulfonic acid, the one from 1 (3 ', 5'-dichloro-2', 4 ', 6', triazinyl-amino) -3 is used -aminobenzene-4 = sulfonic acid, a dye with similar properties is obtained.
Example 2 57.6 kg of copper phthalocyanine are converted into the sulfochloride using chlorosulfonic acid and thionyl chloride as described in Example 1. The sulfochloride discharged on ice! is sucked off and washed out with ice water.
A neutral aqueous solution of about 33 kg of m-aminophenol is added to the sulfochloride paste mixed with ice water;
by slowly adding an aqueous solution of about 10.5 kg of sodium carbonate and 20 liters of pyridine, the reaction mixture is kept neutral, stirred overnight at room temperature, then heated to 80 for about 1 hour, made slightly alkaline with soda and the precipitated condensation product is filtered off and washed with a weak saline solution.
A diazo suspension prepared from about 83 kg of 3- (β-chloropropionylamino) -1-aminobenzene-6-sulfonic acid is allowed to run into the solution of the condensation product, which has been mixed with excess sodium carbonate, and is stirred for several hours. The dye is deposited by adding rock salt and hydrochloric acid, filtered and washed with brine.
After drying, it forms a black powder that dissolves in water with an olive-gray color and in concentrated sulfuric acid with a brown color. When printing on cellulose fibers, such as cotton or rayon, in the presence of soda, steaming and soaking give wet-fast dark green prints of great color strength.
If, in the above example, the equivalent amounts of 2-aminophene, 4-aminophenol or 3-aminophenol-6-carboxylic acid are used instead of 3-aminophenol, products with a somewhat livelier dark green color are obtained.
If, in the above example, 1,3-diamino-4, methylbenzene, 1,3-diarnino-4-chlorobenzene, 1,3-diaaninobenzene or 1,3-diaminobenzene-4-sulfonic acid is used instead of m aminophenol, the result is Dyes which, when printing and steaming in the presence of soda and subsequent soaps, produce deep green, wet and lightfast dyeings of good etchability on cotton; the use of 1-amino-5-naphthol gives gray shades.
If the diazo component is used instead of 3- (ss-chloropropionylamino) -1-aminobenzene-6-sulphonic acid, 4- (l-chloropropionylamino) -1-aminobenzene-2-sulphonic acid or 3- (3 ', 5' Dichloro-2 ', 4', 6'-triazinylamino) -1-aminobenzene-6-sulfonic acid, this gives dyes with similar properties.
Example 3 The sulfochloride produced from 57.6 kg of copper phthalocyanine according to Aden's information in example 1 of the main patent is. mixed with ice water. A neutral solution of the sodium salt of about 72 kg of 2-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid is added. The mixture is stirred for several hours at room temperature and the released mineral acid is blunted by adding an aqueous solution of sodium carbonate and about 20 liters of pyridine.
After stirring overnight, complete solution has occurred. The mixture is warmed to 80 for 1 hour and the dye is salted out with rock salt.
To the. with excess sodium carbonate added solution of the condensation product obtained is left with cooling a mixture of about 83 kg 3- (ss-chloropropionylamino)
-1 "aminodbenzene-6-sulfonic acid produced diazo suspension run and stir for a few hours. The dye is separated out by adding rock salt and hydrochloric acid and forms a black powder after filtering and drying.
Solution color in water brown olive, in concentrated sulfuric acid bomdo.
When printing on cotton in the presence of soda and steam, deep green and brown tones are obtained after soaking. The dyeings are wetfast.
If 2-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid is used in the above example with 2-amino-8-oxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid or 1-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid, dyes are obtained which deliver real violet or black brown tones on cellulose fibers.
