Fig. 1 die Ausbildung einer Druckvorrichtung im Schnitt,
Fig. 2 eine perspektivische Darstellung der Gesamtanordnung.

Method and device for the continuous printing of strip-shaped writing carriers and for connecting parts of these writing carriers to packages of goods
The invention relates to a method for the continuous printing of sequences of numbers and letters, in particular price and weight information or advertising texts, on strip-shaped writing carriers and for connecting these writing carriers to goods packs, in particular net or hose packs for lumpy goods, for example apples, oranges and potatoes .
The rationalization efforts in the retail trade have led to the fact that the goods suitable for this are packaged in stock in common weight quantities and provided with price tags. This means that the weighing and packaging of these goods has been moved from the sales room to the storage facility. The portioning and packaging of the goods as well as the labeling of the packages with price information were carried out in separate operations.
The invention is based on the object of finding a method for combining these separate operations into one operation, and of creating a device which is suitable for carrying out this method.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the strip-shaped lettering carrier is pulled off a supply roll, passed through a printing device, connected to the goods package during the closing of the same in one operation with the aid of the closure means, and before or after an at least one text sequence printed with the package Part of the document carrier connected in the form of a flag is separated. The writing carrier is advantageously automatically withdrawn from the printing device and fed to the pack of goods in the cycle of the closing process, the conveying cycle and the closing cycle running one after the other.
When packing lumpy goods in tubular or net-like packaging material, two closures are required per pack, one of which is attached before the pack is filled.
In most cases, the filled pack and the subsequent, still empty pack are closed simultaneously in a closing head and the filled pack is separated from the subsequent pack immediately after the closing process.
With this type of packaging, it is advantageous if the filled and the empty pack are provided with a price tag at the same time; This means that price flags only need to be attached to two consecutive packs every second closing cycle. Accordingly, a conveyor cycle is assigned to every second closing cycle, the price flags for two packs being fed to the closing device at each conveyor cycle.
It may also be advantageous if the writing carrier is attached to both ends of the pack in the form of a carrying loop.
An embodiment of a device suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
Show it:
1 shows the construction of a printing device in section,
2 shows a perspective illustration of the overall arrangement.
In the housing 1, which can be closed by a cover 2, the pressure roller 3, the pressure roller 4 and the inking rollers 5 and 6 are rotatably mounted. Outside the housing 1, the storage roll 8 for the strip-shaped writing carrier 9 is received by the bearing block 7. This is introduced through a projection 10 into the housing 1 and passed between the pressure roller 3 and the pressure roller 4, wherein the number or letter sequences arranged on the pressure roller 3 are printed on the strip, which after printing through the opening 11 in the cover 2 can be withdrawn from the housing 1 via a deflection roller 12 and, if necessary, divided at the tear-off edge 13 according to the repetition of the printed text.
The pressure roller 4 consists of a more or less elastic material, depending on whether the text carrier on the pressure roller 3 consists of rigid or elastic material. The inking rollers 5 and 6 are advantageously made of absorbent material, for example felt.
To make it easier to change or change the print text on the print roller 3, parts of the side walls of the housing 1 are connected to the cover 2 and can be opened with this so that the print roller 3 is easily accessible in the upper area of the housing.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the printing device 1 is connected via suitable guide means 14 for the lettering carrier 9 to a conveying device 15, which consists, for example, of a pair of rollers or appropriately designed grippers. Subsequent to the conveying device 15, the writing carrier 9 is fed to the locking head 17 of the locking device 18 via the guide means 14. The writing carrier 9 is advantageously fed at an acute angle to the locking device, the writing carrier 9 coming to lie diagonally over the insertion slot 19 of the locking head 17.
A cutting device 16 is provided between the conveying device 15 and the closing head 17, the distance of which from the closing head corresponds to at least the length of a text sequence on the text carrier.
The tubular packaging material 21, closed at its free end by means of a clamp 23, is filled in portions with the goods to be packaged with the aid of the filling device 20.
After a portion of the goods has been filled into the packaging material 21, it is grasped by an operator and inserted through the insertion slot 19 into the closing head 17, whereby the filled pack 22 and the open end of the next pack to be filled are closed in one operation and d the filled package 22 is separated.
After every second closing process, the conveying device 15 pushes a predetermined piece of the document carrier 9 printed in the printing device 1 through the guide means 14 over the insertion slot 19. With the aid of the cutting device 16, a part is copied from the font carrier 9, the length of which is at least two or a multiple of two text sequences. The conveying device 15 and the cutting device 16 are automatically controlled as a function of the actuation of the closing device 18, for example electrically or hydraulically.
The part of the document carrier 9 conveyed through the insertion slot 19 is also introduced into the closing device 18 when the pack to be closed is inserted, fastened with the aid of the clamps 13, which serve to close the packs, and during the same cutting process that removes the filled pack 22 from the The package that has not yet been filled is separated, divided into two, so that a flag 24 printed with suitable text is produced at the end of the filled package 22 and at the beginning of the as yet unfilled packaging material 21. Since two packs are provided with a flag 24 at the same time, the conveying device 15 and the cutting device 16 are controlled in such a way that a conveying cycle of the document carrier 9 only follows after every second closing cycle.
The advance of the conveying device 15 per conveying cycle and the distance between the cutting device 16 and the closing head 17 can be changed so that they can be adapted to the length of the respective text sequence.
