Double plug-in console for mounting on a frame mat structure In frame mat structures with tubular steel posts and double consoles with polygonal holes, it is known to design the console as a clamp,
which can be clamped to the tubular steel handles at any height. Since the console load on such consoles is carried almost or completely moment-free into the handles, a good clamping effect is crucial. It is known in a forged double console the clamping surface z.
B. roughening by gearing. Such a known Kon sole used with regard to the function of the toothing flexurally soft, d. H. conformable clamp halves. One clamp half end is seen with a nut thread for the clamping screw.
It has been shown that such brackets are not sufficiently resilient, because the toothing is not fully effective over the entire circumference, and the screw is not very effective because it is entangled by the ends of the clamp halves positioned at an angle to each other. forces.
The aim of the invention is to create a clamped double console of sufficient load-bearing strength, which is also easier to manufacture.
According to the invention, the clamp halves are rigid due to their corresponding thick walls or ribbing. Furthermore, the bracket is hinged to the free end of one of the two clamp halves to carry the clamping means.
For a rigid construction, it is useful to give the clamp half ends and the transitions between the bracket eyes and the joint, except for the joint tongue leg, a U-profile. In such a shape, the clamp halves can be easily cast and tempered. The manufacturing costs are low due to the manufacture of the two clamp halves in malleable cast iron.
In the drawing, the invention is explained using an exemplary embodiment. 1 shows a view of a double console, FIG. 2 shows the console according to FIG. 1 in a top view, FIG. 3 shows a cross section along line III-III in FIG. 2.
Two clamp halves 1 and 2 are connected to one another by a joint consisting of a tongue 3, a fork 4 and a riveted bolt 5. The hinge-like connected clamp halves have opposite each a conically developing from a circle to a square hole 6 for receiving plug pins of the frame mats of a scaffolding. The clamp halves are rigid.
The bending stiffness is achieved by a U-profile approximately as shown in FIG. 3 on the right or by thick walls as shown in FIG. 3 on the left. The thick walls only exist at the point where one clamp half 1 runs out into tongue 3.
The free ends 7 and 8 of the clamp halves have a U @ profile as shown in FIG. 1. At one end 8 is a ge forged with a riveted bolt 9: bracket 10 is articulated. The yoke 11 of the fork-shaped bracket has a nut thread for receiving a clamping screw 12. The tip 13 of the clamping screw sits on the base of the clamp half end 7.
If a wedge were used as a tensioning means instead of the screw 12, the fork-shaped bracket would be provided with a pair of recesses serving as a passage for the wedge. The wedge would extend perpendicular to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 2 and sit on the crests of the two legs of the U-profile of the end of the clamp half 7.
The two clamp halves 1. And 2 are made of malleable cast iron in the example. The bending stiffness and the special shape allow the use of that relatively cheap material.
When bracing the double console, the clamp hardnesses are only slightly shaped, because, in contrast to the known, toothed clamping surface, it is not necessary here to achieve more than a full contact with the pipe, not shown. The screw is loaded exactly centrally without twisting, so it has a good clamping efficiency.
The load conditions are particularly difficult when both console eyes 6 act at the same time with their full load. In that case there is no jamming effect of a moment that is regarded as pleasant in scaffolding pipe couplings, but only the size of the tensioning of the screw 12 is effective for the pure frictional load.
The good pressure of the clamp halves on the pipe and the good bracing ensure the required high load capacity of the double bracket.
