Fig. 1 die Gesamteinrichtung in der Draufsicht,
Fig. 2-5 einen Einwegbehälter in den verschiedenen Fertigungsabschnitten.
Method and device for the production, filling and sealing of
Plastic containers
The subject matter of the invention is a method and a device for the machine finishing, filling and closing of single-use thin-walled plastic containers, so-called disposable packs, for liquids, in particular drinking liquids.
The method according to the invention consists in that from a plastic pipe continuously emerging from a plastic pressing machine with the cross-sectional dimensions of the finished container, pieces are continuously separated according to the container size and provided with a bottom at one end and the container thus formed with the open end after fed to a filling machine at the top, filled and then closed with a lid.
It is already known to produce lost packs for liquids from plastic films that have already been delivered. These semifinished products are first heated and then shaped into a pack by means of molding jaws, either by applying a vacuum from the outside or by introducing a pressure gas, the molding jaws closing the film edges. The packs are then filled and sealed in a subsequent operation.
It is also known to produce disposable packs from a plastic tube instead of the prefabricated foils, which after loading a plastic press with raw granulate is continuously withdrawn and then reheated in a mold and blown onto the finished mold by means of an inserted needle. Additional machines are required for reworking the packages resulting from the blow molding process, for example removing the press burr, etc.
For this reason, the disposable packs produced in this way are delivered to the bottling plants ready for use.
The invention is based on the knowledge that the costs for a disposable or one-way pack can be largely reduced if the pack is manufactured directly in the bottling plant and the plastic required for this is delivered in the form of raw granules. This largely reduces the high delivery costs and saves considerable storage and circulation costs compared to the known methods which use the aforementioned semi-finished products.
The invention consists in the combination of the various individual process sections known per se in the special order for the continuous production, filling and sealing of single-use containers for liquids, whereby it is entirely possible that individual process sections precede or correspond to the requirements of another process section can be connected downstream.
The device for carrying out the method is characterized in that the devices for separating the plastic pipe, erecting and filling the containers, closing and labeling and stacking the containers are arranged on a conveyor belt and work in the same cycle.
The method according to the invention is shown schematically in the drawing, for example. Show it
1 shows the entire device in plan view,
Fig. 2-5 shows a disposable container in the various production stages.
The plastic pressing machine (extruder 1), which is essentially equipped with an injection molding tool and a calibration device simulating the prismatic container shape chosen, for example, is initially charged with a plastic supplied as granules or powder. The plastic heated in the extruder leaves the extrusion head continuously as a pressed strand and then exits the calibration device in the form of a profile tube 2.
After this production section, the pipe cross-section already has the cross-sectional dimensions of the finished pack.
A cutting device 3 successively cuts off pieces adapted to the predetermined height of the pack from the exiting tube and forwards them via a conveyor belt 4 to a device 5, which closes the separated tube pieces at one open end with a bottom 6 to form a container 7 (Fig. 2).
The base parts can already be fed to the device 5 ready-made, so that they are individually removed from a stack in a known manner and applied to the open end of the pipe section.
In addition, however, the closing device 5 can also be equipped with a punching, pulling and possibly with an embossing tool in the manner of a known closing cap punch, so that the container bottoms are made from a strip of material on the spot before the closing function of the device 5.
The connection of the container bottom placed on the pipe circumference or inserted into the clear pipe width with the wall of the pipe section can be done, for example, by welding, gluing, Bör the, beading, folding or pressing.
Conversely, however, it is also possible to attach the base part for a pipe section directly to the emerged profile pipe before the severing process and then to sever the pipe section to the predetermined container size. In this case, the device 5 would have to be arranged in front of the cutting device 3.
Subsequent to the machines 3 and 5, the containers 7 are erected mechanically, pneumatically or hydraulically, for example mechanically, pneumatically or hydraulically, by a device (not shown in detail) and fed to a filling machine 8 with the open end facing up (FIG. 3) and filled.
In the event that the container is to be sterilized beforehand, for example with a germicidal gas, the filling machine 8 is preceded by a sterilizing device (not shown in detail) in which the sterilizing agent is blown out of the container 7 again by means of sterile air by means of a nozzle 9 (Fig. 4) becomes.
Following the filling machine 8, the now filled packs are fed on the transport path to a further treatment device 10, which closes the containers one after the other with a lid 11 (FIG. 5). This closing device 10 can, in accordance with the device 5, also be supplied with the lids as stacked finished parts or as punched parts from a further punching, drawing and, if necessary, stamping tool assigned to the device 15, which produces the lid directly and conveniently with a Spout opening 12 provides. The type of lid fastening corresponds to the type of fastening chosen for attaching the container bottom.
From the pre-closing machine 10, the conveyor belt 4 then transports the packs to the area of a labeling machine 13 or another device for further treatment and then to a magazine 14 from which the finished packs are removed, for example by means of a packer.
The main advantage of this method is that the plastic used for lost packs is obtained from the manufacturer as granulate or powder and is immediately processed into the finished pack while avoiding a semi-finished product. In addition, neglecting the subsequent deformation of the plastic tube outside the extruder to the final container shape, which is customary in the known methods, the profile tube is given a cross-sectional shape based on the finished container in the predetermined dimensions already in the pressing machine.
