Slatted blind Blinds are known comprising slats supported in parallel by flexible ladders suspended from a tilting mechanism, and pull tabs, making it possible to raise the blind, not through the base of the blind and passing through the slats by openings. cut out of these.
In blinds of this kind, metal tension bands formed from very thin sheet metal are frequently used and which tend to twist as soon as they are relaxed. This twisting, due in particular to the rolling of the ribbons on the deflection rollers, increases over time and can lead, during untimely handling, to the formation in the ribbons of marked folds which adversely affect the proper functioning of the blind.
In known blinds, the ribbons are parallel to the plane of the blind and the openings which give them passage, cut from slats with a convex profile, have a width measured transversely with respect to the slat which is relatively large, to allow movement from below. cule lamellae on the ribbons. As a result, the ribbons can rotate in these openings, and twist.
The present invention aims to remedy this disadvantage and, to this end, in the blind according to the invention, the opening of the slats giving passage to the traction tapes is a slot perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the slat, this slot having a length in the transverse direction of the lamella greater than the width of the strip, to allow the inclination of the melle, and such a width in the longitudinal direction of the lamella that the slot constitutes a guide s 'opposing the rotation of the ribbon. The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the blind which is the subject of the invention, and variants of this embodiment.

The fia. 4 is a schematic view showing the trajectory of a traction tape of this embodiment.
Fig. 5 is a view similar to FIG. 4, of a variant.
Fig. 6 is a view similar to FIG. 3, of a variant.
The blind shown in fig. 1 to 4, comprises a series of parallel slats 1, supported by flexible suspension ladders 2, with a tilting mechanism, not shown, making it possible to modify the inclination of the slats. In fig. 1, an average angular position of the slats has been indicated in solid lines, and in phantom 1 ′, an upright position corresponding to the closure.
The blind comprises a base cross member 3 suspended from the traction tapes 4, by means of which the blind can be raised.
The ribbons 4 pass through each strip 1 through an opening 5 cut in the latter. As visible in fig. 3, this opening 5 is a slot perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X-X of the strip. This slot has a length A, in the transverse direction of the strip, no tablement greater than the width B of the strip 4, to allow the inclination of the strip. The width C of the slot, in the longitudinal direction of the strips, is against only slightly greater than the thickness of the tape, so that the slot constitutes a narrow guide preventing any marked twisting of the tape.
The tape 4 is thus guided angularly at close intervals, so that it cannot twist on itself even if it is relaxed, simply taking a sinuous shape shown at 4 'in FIG. 2.
As visible in fig. 4, one end of the ru ban 4 is attached to the lower cross member 3 while its other end is wound on a drum 6 carried by a fixed upper box 7. This drum can be used for winding two symmetrical traction tapes concerning each one part of the store.
The tape 4 is fixed to the lower cross member 3 by means of an adjustable fastening device comprising a pivoted axis 8 having at its right end (fig. 1) a hexagon head 9 and carrying, at its end on the left, a ring 10, fixed to the axis 8 by means of a pin 11. The ring 10 has a lateral toothing 12 which is engaged on a complementary toothing cut in a ron delle 13 secured to a plate 14 The tape 4 is threaded into a transverse slot 15 of the axis (FIG. 2).
The axis 8 can be driven in rotation by means of a key placed on the head 9, while the cooperating teeth of the ring 10 and of the washer 13 jump over one another.
This fastening device makes it possible to easily adjust the length of the strip 4, to ensure a horizontal position for the lower cross member 3. The resistance offered by the teeth engaged is sufficient to prevent any unwanted rotation of the axis 8.
In a variant illustrated by FIG. 5, the ribbon 4 attachment point is located at 16 in the upper box 7 of the blind. The tape passes over return rollers 17 carried by the lower cross member, then over a roller 18 carried by the box, before rolling on a drum 19.
In these two patterns, the tape 4 forms a block comprising, for a regular spacing of the vertical tapes, a number of strands proportional to the width of the blind, and therefore to its weight for a blind of given length.
Thanks to this arrangement, the motor torque to be exerted on the axis of the drum remains approximately the same for blinds of different width, only the length of tape to be wound varying with the width of the blind. This is an appreciable advantage because manual or motor-driven actuators can then be easily unified with a view to their mass production.
In the variant shown in FIG. 6, the ladders 20 are constituted by textile ribbons comprising in their rungs, two separate parallel strands 21 and 22. The opening of the strip comprises a transverse slot 23 guiding the traction tape 24, and a longitudinal slot 25 serving for the passage of the separate strands 21 and 22, placed on either side of the strip 24 and which cross on the strip to secure the attachment of the strip to the scale.
In variants, the rung may comprise two separate strands placed on different sides of the traction tape, without crossing each other on the sipe. The lower cross member and the strips may also include end rollers cooperating in their guidance.
The constitution of the openings in the form of thin transverse slits not only ensures good guiding of the tapes but also has the advantage of reducing the perforated surface of the mesh, thus making it possible to obtain more complete darkness by means of the store. This advantage is particularly noticeable when using thin scales, for example cord, which have only a reduced width, generally smaller than that of the tensile tapes.
Finally, the traction tape can be placed very close to the end of the lamella, as shown in fig. 3, which makes it possible, if necessary, to conceal it under a frame.
