Spritzgussmaschine
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt. Es zeigt;
Fig. 2 die Maschine bei geschlossener Form, und
Fig. 3 die Maschine nach erfolgter Einspritzung.
Injection molding machine
Apart from mechanically driven injection molding machines, in which the injection speed is in many cases inadequate, mainly hydraulically driven injection molding machines are used, in which at least one hydraulic piston is used for opening and closing the injection mold, for locking the injection mold and for moving the injection piston it is provided which pistons are driven by a pump unit.
These injection molding machines have the disadvantage that hydraulic drives are relatively extensive and expensive.
The object of the invention is to create an injection molding machine in which the advantages of known embodiments are retained, but their deficiencies are avoided, and the drive is simple and inexpensive and also ensures spontaneous injection of the injection compound into the injection mold.
The injection molding machine according to the invention is characterized in that it has mechanical actuators for opening and closing the injection mold, which are connected to a hydraulic system for actuating the injection piston and a common power source for actuating both the mechanical and the hydraulic part and for adapting the function of the hydraulic part to the function of the mechanical part are provided a these functions mutually coordinating control.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows;
1 shows an injection molding machine in longitudinal section with a partially open mold,
2 shows the machine with the mold closed, and
3 shows the machine after injection has taken place.
An electric brake motor 1 is arranged on a frame 17, the output of which is coupled to a worm shaft 2 which drives a worm wheel 3. A cam disk 4 and a circular eccentric 5 are connected to the latter. The circular eccentric 5 is enclosed by a matching eye of an eccentric rod 12. In the latter, a push rod 15 is mounted axially to a limited extent.
This carries a roller 16 at the lower end, which is supported on the circular eccentric 5. The other end of the push rod 15 is connected to a toggle lever 15 'which is pivotably mounted with a free end of the lever arm on the frame 17, and the other lever arm is connected to a bridge, not shown, which is connected to the movable mold half of the injection mold 13' by spars 13 connected is. Furthermore, an injection cylinder 18 with a nozzle 19 and an injection piston 20 is fastened to the frame 17, with the hydraulic piston 7 being coupled to a hydraulic piston 7 which is axially displaceable and tightly mounted in a cylinder. The cylinder interior is connected to a pressure accumulator 11 by a line 21. In this line 21, a throttle 14 and a check valve 8 are also arranged.
The pressure accumulator 11 consists of a closed housing which is divided into two by a membrane 10 and which is filled with nitrogen on the right side of the membrane 10 and with oil on the left side of the membrane 10. In addition, line 21 and the * October 12, 1963 (date of the transfer of the subject of the registration to the exhibition space of the Kunststoffe 1963 international trade fair, Düsseldorf, opened on October 12, 1963) cylinder space in front of piston 7 is filled with oil.
So that the membrane 10 cannot pull into the mouth of the supply line 21 and jam in the event of an overload, it carries a stop piece 9, which may be supported at the line mouths. A two-armed lever 6 is also pivotably mounted on the frame 17, the lever-arm ends of which carry rollers 6 '. Here, the upper lever arm of the lever 6 engages the cylinder 7, while the lower lever arm is supported with the roller 6 'on the cam disk 4. The machine also has a metering device 22 for the injection compound. In order to vary the stroke of the mold half, an adjusting screw 23 acting on the toggle lever 15 ′ is also arranged on the frame 17.
The mode of action is as follows:
If the motor 1 is switched on, the worm shaft 2 and the worm wheel 3 rotate and thus also the cam disks 4 and 5 mounted on the same shaft as the worm wheel 3. This rotation is effected on the one hand via the eccentric 5, the eccentric rod 12 and the push rod 15 Buckling of the toggle lever 15 'and thus an opening of the mold 13 and on the other hand a pivoting of the lever 6 via the cam disk 4, namely the upper lever arm to the right, whereby the piston 7 is displaced to the right.
As a result of this piston displacement, the oil in the cylinder of the piston 7 is pressed through the check valve 8, possibly also through the throttle 14 and the line 21, into the space of the pressure accumulator 11 located on the left side of the membrane 10, which compresses the gas located on the right side of the membrane 10, z. B. nitrogen causes. This function is shown in FIG. 1, the pressure accumulator 11 being approximately 80% preloaded.
The injection cylinder 18 is also filled with injection compound by the metering device 22.
If the cams now continue to rotate clockwise, the mold 13 is closed via the eccentric 4, the eccentric and push rod 12 and 15 by the toggle lever 15 ', and the pressure accumulator 11 is fully biased, as FIG. 2 shows.
With further clockwise rotation of the worm wheel 3 and the cam disks 4 and 5, the cam disk 4 releases the lever 6 and thus also the piston 7, after which the latter, and thus also the injection piston 20, is suddenly shifted to the left by the expansion of the nitrogen via the oil and the injection compound located in the injection cylinder 18 shoots into the mold 13. The shooting speed can be changed by operating the throttle 14. After the injection compound has been injected into the mold 13, it remains closed, as shown in FIG. 3, until the return stroke of the injection plunger is initiated, namely because the eccentric 5 maintains its greatest stroke over part 24 of its circumference.
As a result of the measures described, locking is inevitably achieved when the mold is closed, the mechanical drive for opening and closing the mold being extremely simple, cheap and robust. In addition, the cam drives for the toggle lever acting on the movable mold half delay the opening until the return stroke of the injection piston is initiated, so that additional injection when the mold is opened is excluded. Furthermore, compared to known hydraulically driven injection molding machines, the hydraulic system of the injection piston does not require any complicated and expensive pump units and no valves, slides and other elements that represent sources of error in order to achieve sequential control.
