Les fig. 1, 2 et 3 en représentent, respectivement en élévation, en plan et en profil coupés, une pre mière forme d'exécution; les fig. 4 et 5 représentent, en élévation, deux variantes d'articulation entre lamelles ; les fig. 6, 7 et 8 représentent, respectivement en élévation, en plan et en profil partiels, une seconde forme d'exécution de l'invention ; la fig. 9 représente une liaison supplémentaire entre lamelles ; la fig. 10 représente schématiquement une défor mation que l'on veut éviter; la fig. 11 représente une variante préférée de protection des lamelles ;
Horizontal transport installation, in particular for the mechanical parking of motor vehicles Various methods of mechanical parking require, to reach a parking space, a horizontal transport of the vehicle in the direction perpendicular to its direction of travel, by means of carriers of the kind endless belt or articulated metal pallets, the vehicle passing from one set of conveyors mounted on a mobile platform to another set of conveyors mounted on the location and vice versa.
The object of the invention is to provide an economical and compact transporter, able to roll directly on a relatively smooth surface such as a cement slab constituting the parking space, and more particularly designed for the transport of motor vehicles including it supports the tires of the same axle, but can also be used to transport various loads.
However, a cement slab cannot withstand unit pressures (calculated according to the projected area of the tread of the rolling elements) as high as those that a set of rails or more generally a set of metal profiles can support. , and on the other hand since its surface is generally not perfectly flat, the bumps, even very slight, are made to withstand high pressures and deteriorate rapidly.
The object of the invention is to remedy this drawback by giving the conveyor a structure and flexibility such that the pressures are fairly uniformly distributed between a large number of rolling elements on the slab.
The horizontal transport installation according to the invention is characterized by a slab comprising a free edge on the side where the objects to be transported arrive, at least one continuous conveyor rolling on this slab and consisting of juxtaposed semi-rigid slats. and articulated so as to be able to not be under the slab by winding around the edge thereof and to be able to perform the reverse pitching,
the articulations being established so that said strips remain contiguous during said winding, each strip being supported by rollers distributed at substantially equidistant intervals along two alignments parallel to the edges of said strip, the distance between the two alignments of a same sipe and the distance between two successive rollers of the same alignment being respectively less than the corresponding dimensions of the smallest bearing surface of the objects to be transported,
so that the support on the slab is made by at least four rollers located in the projection of said surface and the distances from the axes of the rollers to the geometric axes of articulation of the lamellae being greater than the radius of the rollers.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, some embodiments of the installation forming the subject of the invention.
Figs. 1, 2 and 3 show, respectively in elevation, in plan and in cut profile, a first embodiment; figs. 4 and 5 show, in elevation, two variants of articulation between lamellae; figs. 6, 7 and 8 show, respectively in elevation, in plan and in partial profile, a second embodiment of the invention; fig. 9 represents an additional bond between lamellae; fig. 10 schematically represents a deformation which one wishes to avoid; fig. 11 represents a preferred variant of protection of the lamellae;
the fi-. 12 finally shows in elevation a third embodiment of the invention.
According to fig. 1, 2 and 3, the installation comprises a slab 1 on which rolls the conveyor made up of slats 2, the edges of which are cut and bent so as to constitute articulation hinges on the neighboring slats by means of connecting rods 3.
Under each strip 2 are welded equidistant brackets 4 crossed by a common axis 5 disposed substantially vertically to a connecting rod 3 and on which are mounted rollers 6. Thus each strip 2 rests directly on an alignment of pallets 6 and indirectly, by the hinge located on the opposite edge, on an identical alignment fixed under the following strip.
A tire 7 is supported by a contact surface 8 always having more than four direct supports on rollers 6.
The conveyor can be wound around the rounded edge 9 of the slab 1. At its ends are attached, on the sides, cables 10 which pass over deflection pulleys 11 and which thus ensure a suitable tension at the same time as 'is supported the part 12 of the conveyor located under the slab 1. The latter is only drilled for housing the deflection pulleys 11 and not of the conveyor, so that its resistance remains practically ment intact.
In order to control the back and forth of the conveyor, the connecting rods 3 carry at their ends rollers 13 which mesh with notched wheels 14 integral with a shaft 15 passing inside the rounded edge 9 and the rotation of which is ensured by known means foreign to the invention.
According to fig. 4, the hinge joint is replaced by a hook joint of the kind frequently used for slatted blinds. Each strip 16 has a large continuous rolled edge 17 and a small continuous rolled edge 18 which can turn inside the large edge 17 of the neighboring strip.
According to fig. 5, the articulation is produced by means of a connection 19, the C-shaped profile of which hooks the folded edges 20 of the strips 21 and holds them together while allowing the necessary relative rotation.
According to fig. 6, 7 and 8, the articulation is made only on the edges of the conveyor, beyond the strips 22, by means of internal meshes 23 integral with the strips 22a of even order articulated by means of axes 24 on couples of mail the outer 25 secured to the slats 22b of odd order. The pins 24 are located in such a way as to keep the strips 22 substantially contiguous in pairs during the winding which is no longer carried out on the edge of the slab but on a driving shaft 26.
The rollers 6 rotate on individual axes 27, carried at their ends by plates 28 cut in the middle so as to be engaged and fixed under the slats 22 whose profile has a dovetail bending in its middle. Each group of two plates 28 is supported by two rollers 6 so that each strip 22 is independently supported by neighboring strips. The rollers of a strip and of the same alignment are alternated with the neighboring alignment rollers of the neighboring strip.
The plates 28 of the same lamella are crossed at their center by a rod 29 which also passes through the inner meshes 23 or the outer meshes 25 as the case may be, and which thus ensures a connection between the lamellae and the meshes. Spacer tubes 30 provide the plates 28 with precise and staggered positions along the slats 22.
The end rollers of the odd-order slats rotate on axes 31 which extend beyond the last plate 28 so as to pass through the outer meshes 25 and to carry bare rete rollers 32. Indeed, the conveyor in question is established so as to avoid the cables 10, the return pulleys 11 and the orifices that these require in the slab 1 according to the first variant. It is therefore necessary to ensure otherwise the winding of the conveyor on the driving shaft 26, and this is what is obtained by means of a fixed guide 33 in a semi-circle, the inner contour of which forces the retaining rollers 32 to perform the passage from the top below the slab and vice versa, and the lower extension of which supports the lower ply 12 of the conveyor.
The pins 31 provide a second connection between the lamel les and the outer links 25.
According to fig. 9, to prevent traction is only provided by the meshes, some plates 34 integral with the strips 22 of even order comprise curved buttonholes 35 concentric with the axes 24 and crossed by the axes 36 of the rollers of the neighboring strips located screw -to-be. The nières buttons 35 are arranged so as to allow the relative rotation of two neighboring slats only in the zero angle that they make when they are in the same horizontal plane and the angle required by the rolling of the carrier on the drive shaft 26.
Consequently, not only part of the traction is provided by the plates 34 but the conveyor can also work in thrust since any wrinkling as shown schematically in FIG. 10 would suppose the pos sibility of rotations according to the sign + and of rotations according to the sign -. In the absence of this arrangement, the fixed guides 33 should be extended horizontally above the slab as they are below so that the conveyor can work in thrust. It can be noted that the plates 34 force the slats to remain at the level of their neighbors, which guarantees a better distribution of the loads on the rollers 6.
Preferably, the inner stitches 23 have the same curved buttonholes 35 as the plates 34 so as to also oppose any rotation according to the sign -. The drive of the conveyor is provided by the driving shaft 26 which consists of a tube 37 on which are fixed rings 38 whose outer contour supports the rollers 6 and meshes with the tubes 30. The parts 39 of this outer contour which supporting the rollers 6 are arcs of a circle, the center of which corresponds to the articulation axes of the slats.
The edge of the slab 1 comprises a horizontal plate 40 forming a comb between the teeth of which the rings 38 pass. The upper level of the plate 40 is exactly flush with the underside of the rollers 6 supported by the washers 38 when they are at the high point. and thus the continuity of the path and of the support of the rollers is correctly ensured.
It is in the interest of protecting the transporter from sludge that may fall from the vehicle.
According to fig. 11, this protection is obtained by means of rubber profiles 41 whose dovetail edges are forcibly engaged in the grooves, also dovetailed, of each pair of neighboring slats.
According to fig. 6, 8 and 12, the conveyor is covered with a sheet 42 of flexible material such as rubber, rubberized canvas, plastic, etc. The connection of the sheet 42 with each lamella is easily achieved by penetrating the sheet into the dovetail groove and wedging a rubber profile 43 which may be cylindrical or, preferably, two-cylinder with a lock in the middle. so that one half serves to wedge the sheet 42 while the other prevents the tire from slipping when passing from one conveyor to another.
Finally, according to fig. 12, the slats 22 remain identical to the previous ones but those of an even order are supported by plates 28 identical to the preceding ones crossed by pins 44 which make the entire width of the conveyor and carry continuous alignments of rollers 6. The slats 22 of even gold are supported by plates 34 identical to the previous ones, which are supported by their curved bolts 35 on the axes 44.
