Description
Base rail arrangement for covering the wall strips close to the floor of living spaces Previously it was necessary to pin the base rails to the wall with nails or screws to cover the wall strips close to the floor of living spaces.
According to the present invention, on the other hand, it is provided that holders are attached to the wall surface within the strip to be covered, each of which is designed as a piece of a connecting device ausgebil Deten as a plug-in coupling, the counterparts of which are attached or formed on the back of the base rail NEN in such a way that pieces of rail of the required length can be attached to the holder and pulled away from these holders.
The resulting possibility of pulling the cover rails from the holders and simply reattaching them is particularly beneficial when using shell profile rails that leave behind cavities in which electrical cables and other installation strands can be laid, which after the Sliding on the rails are invisible, but for necessary changes can be easily exposed by removing the rails.
Embodiments of the base rail arrangements according to the invention are each shown in vertical cross-section in FIGS. 1-3 of the drawing, FIG. 4 shows a front view of a row of holders for the base rails attached to a wall strip.
FIG. 5 shows a diagrammatic view of a corner piece which, according to the plan according to FIG. 6, can be plugged together with straight base rails.
According to FIGS. 1 to 5, rows of holders 2 are fastened with the aid of screws 20, which are each designed as the one piece of a connector designed as a plug-in coupling, on the edge strips close to the floor, which are to be covered by securing rails 1, their counterparts on the backs of the base rails 1 BEFE Stigt or are formed. According to FIGS. 1, 2 and 4, the holders 2 are designed as U-profile pieces and according to FIG. 3 as full-profile pieces.
The base rails drawn here as shell profiles in different variants, which can consist of drawn light metal or elastically flexible plastic material, each carry two webs 11, 12 protruding backwards from the front walls of the rails 1, the flanks of which are directed against the wall W to the resilient Fas sen corresponding opposing organs of the holder 2 are formed.
According to Fig. 1, the webs 11, 12, designed as fork profiles, the leg surfaces can be resiliently spread and have rounded ribs 111, 121 on the inner sides for engaging over arrow-shaped profiled flanks of the holder legs 211, 221, formed.
According to FIGS. 2 and 3, the webs 11, 12 carry inwardly protruding round profile ribs 112, 122 or 113, 123 for overlapping corresponding outer ribs 212, 222 or 213, 223 on the holders 2.
After all three exemplary embodiments, it is possible to simply attach the shell profile rails 1 to the holder fastened with the aid of suitable straightening tools and to remove them again as required.
To cover corners, according to FIGS. 5 and 6, correspondingly profiled corner pieces 3 can be used, from the end faces 30 of which pins 31, 32 protrude, which can be inserted into correspondingly profiled cavities of the straight shell profile rails 1.
According to the principle of the invention, full-profile wooden plinth rails could also be used, in the rear of which connector organs could be used, which, together with counterparts fastened to the walls, could also allow a simple plugging of the base rails.
