Brake disc for disc brakes The invention relates to a brake disc for disc brakes, which is provided with a friction ring which is exclusively radially movable and is connected to a hub body made of cast steel and is made of gray cast iron.
The previously known brake discs of this type have between the secondary body and the friction ring in, axially and '/ or in the circumferential direction more effective same stops, which are formed by the aforementioned Tei sources themselves or of intermediate members. The friction ring is composed of several parts, which makes the brake disc more expensive and requires regular maintenance and control during operation.
The object underlying the invention is to create a brake disc of the type mentioned above, which can be produced in a simple, inexpensive manner and which has no parts to be monitored during operation.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the hub body has radially extending guide surfaces which are effective in the axial and circumferential directions and to which the opposing surfaces of the friction ring cast in one piece around the hub body avoiding welding are assigned.
According to the invention, the brake disc can experience an advantageous embodiment in that the hub body has bolts protruding radially outward, the outer surfaces of which are encased by webs belonging to the friction ring, or that the hub body has an annular shape on its outer circumference, axially and / or radial direction from paragraphs having web carries which is at least partially encapsulated by the friction ring belonging parts.
In the case of the last-mentioned embodiment, it is advantageous if the web extends radially outwards to close to the outer circumference of the brake disc and is encased by the friction ring only close to its outer circumference.
In the drawings, a plurality of embodiment examples of the invention are schematically illustrated, namely Fig. 1 shows a partially cut-open brake disc. FIG. 2 shows a partial section along the line I-1 in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 shows a partially cut open brake disc of a different construction; and FIG. 5 shows a section through a somewhat modified embodiment of the brake disc.
In all drawings, corresponding parts are provided with the same reference numerals.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, a hub part 10 is provided with at least three radial arms 11, from which bolts 12 also extend in the radial direction.
Around the hub part 10: a friction ring 13 is cast, which has annular bodies 14 on both sides, which are connected by ventilation ribs 15 serving to convey cooling air. Furthermore, he stretch between. the two-sided annular bodies 14 webs 16 through which the bolts 12 pass. When casting the friction ring 13, appropriate, known measures ensure that the webs 16 do not weld to the bolts 12.
These aforementioned measures can consist, for example, in rubbing the bolts 12 with a graphite-containing mold coating before the friction ring 13 is cast.
During operation, the arms 11 and the bolts 12 transmit torques from the hub part 10 to the webs 16 and thus to the friction ring 13, against the ring body 14 of which the brake jaws (not shown) are pressed. When heated, the friction ring 13 can expand unhindered from the hub part 10, the webs 16 sliding outward on the bolt 12. The centering of the friction ring 13 relative to the hub body 10 is retained.
The arms 11 cause a certain annular gap between the outer circumference of the cylindrical portion of the hub part 10 and the inner diameter of the ring body 14, through which cooling air is sucked in during the rotation of the brake disc and conveyed through the ventilation ribs 15 to the outside.
According to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the hub part 10 can on its cylindrical outer circumference have an annular, in the axial direction shoulders 23 carry the web 21, the surface on its free circumferential surface and the radially outer parts of its Seitenflan ken of one of the friction ring 13 associated, the sen both ring bodies 14 near their inner diameter connecting cylinder 25 are encapsulated. When casting the friction ring 13, care must be taken that it does not weld to the hub part 10.
The cylinder 25 has Aufbrü surface 27 through which cooling air is sucked in during the rotation of the brake disc by the ventilation ribs 15 to be för-reducing.
The circumferential surface of the web 21, together with its shoulders 23, center the friction ring 13, which is unhindered in its expansion. The end faces of the shoulders 23 serve, together with the overmoulded counter surfaces on the cylinder 25, as a torque coupling between the hub body 10 and the friction ring 13.
To intensify the cooling air flow, it is advantageous according to FIG. 5 to arrange a web 31 on the hub part 10 that extends close to the outer circumference of the brake disc and to provide the friction ring 13 on its outer circumference with ribs 33 which the ring body 14 with a Connect the ring 35 cast around the free circumferential surface of the web 31 and the radially outer parts of its side flanks.
The web 31 carries, similar to the embodiment described before, in the axial or in the radial direction not shown shoulders for the transmission of torques. On both sides of the web 31 he stretch from the ring 35 to the annular bodies 14 ventilation ribs 37, which during a Rota tion of the brake disc through a large cross-section suck in cooling air and through the openings on the outer circumference bounded by the annular bodies 14, the ring 35 and the ribs 33 the brake disc back into the open. The openings that limit the flow of cooling air are therefore located on the outer circumference of the brake disc and can therefore be made much larger than in the case of the construction described above.
