Die Kachel nach der Erfindung kann fvollauto- matisch und ohne jegliche Nacharbeit mit .dem ran .sich bekannten Material und ;
ausgestattet mit be- liebigen plastischen Dekors hergestellt wenden.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
geringe Dicke.

Tile for ovens for room heating The present invention relates to a tile for ovens for room heating and has the task of increasing the radiant surface and the heat storage capacity and thereby achieving the longest possible heat emission.
At the same time, the .production of the tile should be simplified.
The area of application for ceramic stove tiles has expanded ... quite extraordinarily. Today they are used except for the construction of the well-known tiled stoves for the creation of jacket conversions for all possible heating systems. Such cladding conversions, in particular, require the conventional tile to be redesigned, taking into account that the tile with its new body shape should also be usable for the tile stoves known to it.
The estimated, uniform heat radiation of an old design tiled stove is mainly due to the material used for the tiles, not:
but, on .the body shapes of the tiles, which .before very inexpedient. A stove tile with the previous body shape consists of a back sheet about 12 mm thick, on the inside of which a circumferential body ring set back from the edge is attached. According to current knowledge, this body shape has very poor thermal properties.
The production of the shaped tile is too expensive from today's point of view. So far, it has consisted in the fact that a clay sheet taken from the extrusion press is formed as a tile body in a further pressing process using appropriate plaster molds. In this pressing process, it is important not to
that superfluous clay escapes on all sides of the mold. and that .different structural densities occur, which, when the molding dries, result in a warping of the body shapes: the dimensions of which are so large that the molding produced in this way becomes various subsequent operations such as B.
Trimming .the off, sliding edge and dressing of the tile still has to be worked on. The duration of the fire of such moldings is difficult to determine because of their structural inequality; I have shown shrinkage conditions and other deformations which can no longer be corrected. When laying such tiles, they must:
Trimmed to grip the edges and turn them with loam and pieces of chamotte.
The invention avoids all these disadvantages. It consists in that a number of holes are arranged on the inside in the plate-shaped tile body with a preferably square base area, whereby a web system is formed which is dependent on the back sheet of the tile body.
The tile according to the invention can be fully automated and without any reworking with the material known to itself and;
equipped with any plastic decoration. It is advisable to use a wire cutter to separate the molding pressed into a device by an extruder in a specific work rhythm from the mass, which creates the tile back.
In the drawing, an embodiment according to the invention is shown. They show: FIG. 1 a view of the inside of the tile, FIG. 2 a section I-1 of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a side view, FIG. 4 is a side view of a corner tile in partial section.
As can be seen from Figure 1, the tile 1 has a square base and a relatively
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
small thickness. On the inside it is provided with a large number of round or semicircular holes 3, which are evenly distributed over the entire surface, and between which a so-called bar system 4 is formed.
This bar system increases the total surface area, which acts as a heat radiator, and also gives the tile a previously known stability. Ida's system also has advantages in terms of the manufacturing process, and this guarantees an absolutely homogeneous density of the mass. As a result, the molding can no longer deform during drying and firing and only shrinks to a degree that can be calculated in advance.
The depth of the holes 3 is dimensioned so that the back sheet 2 still has sufficient strength. In the holes 3, the heated air accumulates and continuously transfers its heat to the bar system 4, which results in faster heating of the room.
Trapezoidal grooves 5 are molded onto the four narrow sides of the tile (see Fig. 3), which when the tile is laid: are filled with chamotte and thus give the dressing the necessary security and stability. Any number of plastic decorations can be rolled into or into the outer surface of the back sheet 2 of the molding with a profile roller that is switched on in the automatic press process.
The corner tiles necessary for the construction of a furnace or a furnace shell have a miter cut (see Fig. 4). The inclined surfaces are also provided with grooves 5.
