Füllstandsanzeigevorrichtung an Behältern
Fig. 1 die Anordnung der Vorrichtung im Behälter,
Fig. 2 die Anzeigevorrichtung in grösserem Massstab.
Level indicator on containers
The present invention relates to a device for indicating the level of the goods present in a container, in particular pourable or pulpy goods.
The invention according to the device is characterized by an on a container wall fastened switch with a switching element for triggering a display process and by an operating lever acting on the switching element, which protrudes freely into the interior of the container and is moved when filling good and through its movement Switch operated.
The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, and it shows:
Fig. 1 shows the arrangement of the device in the container,
2 shows the display device on a larger scale.
The silo, which can have any shape, has a funnel-shaped upper part 1 and an outlet part 2 in the illustration shown. The material 4, which in the illustrated case is pourable, is fed to the silo by means of a conveyor belt 3. The cone 5 builds up in the silo with the formation of the slope angle inherent to the filled material.
On a side wall 6 of the silo upper part 1 display devices 7 are attached at different heights, in such a way that the display device itself is attached outside the silo interior and that a switching lever 8 protrudes into the silo interior through an opening on the silo wall 6.
The display device 7 (FIG. 2) consists of a switch 9 which is designed as a limit switch and which can be activated by pressing the switch button 10. The actuating lever 8 is pivotably attached to the switch 9, specifically in such a way that the switch button 10 is actuated by a movement of the actuating lever 8 in the vertical direction.
The switch opening through which the operating lever emerges from the switch is sealed off from the inside of the silo by a sealing sleeve 11.
A roof-like, hemispherical screen 12 is arranged above the opening in the container wall 6 and keeps the goods falling from above away from the sleeve 11.
The switch 9 is with a display member z. B. a signal lamp in connection, in such a way that the signal lamp lights up when the button 10 is pressed inward or when it is released. The choice of this functional connection depends on the purpose that the display device is to fulfill.
The operation of the device is as follows: It is assumed that the switches 9 actuate the signal lamps when the actuating lever 8 is moved down and the switch button is pressed into the switch.
If pourable material, e.g. B. sand, is introduced into the silo, causes the falling when filling the goods along the cone 5 part of the goods that when a certain level is reached, the lever 8 is moved under the pressure of the goods down. The switch is then operated and the associated signal lamp indicates that the material in the silo has reached a certain level.
When using several switches arranged at different heights of the silo, the degree of filling can be determined; Similarly, when the silo is emptied, the degree of filling still present can be read off, since when an actuating lever 8 is released, the relevant switch is deactivated and the associated signal lamp no longer lights up.
You can also z. B. connect the bottom switch to a signal lamp in such a way that it lights up when the operating lever is released. This signal will therefore indicate that the relevant level in the silo has not been reached and that refilling is required
This device can also be used to display the filling status of the silo when pouring pasty material. In this case, the actuating lever 8 is expediently provided with a hollow ball, which acts as a float and is lifted upwards by this when the porridge-like goods rise. In this case, the signal lamp is connected to the switch in such a way that it lights up as soon as the lever 8 is lifted and the switch button 12 is released.
Instead of the signal lamps mentioned, other optical or acoustic signals can also be used for the display.
