Pneumatic uncorking device The invention relates to a pneumatic uncorking device with a manually operated piston pump and a hollow needle attached to the cylinder space containing the body of the latter.
In known devices of this type, the hollow needle is arranged in the same geometric axis as the cylinder space and the piston. This makes handling very difficult.
The invention aims to create a Ge advises of the type mentioned, which is really practical and easy to use. This is to be achieved according to the invention in that the hollow needle extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the pump and the pump body is provided at its end guiding the piston rod with two hook lugs located in a diametrical plane, which are intended to be attached to the ball by the index and middle fingers one at the outer end of the piston rod where the button acting hand to be grasped.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of the device in Ge use position, and Fig. 2 is a perspective view for Erläute tion of handling the device.
The uncorking device shown has a body of an air pump, which is composed of two parts 1, 2 fitted into one another with a press fit, in the cylinder space 3 of which a piston can be displaced. The water consists of a leather sleeve 4 or the like. And two the bottom of the latter between them holding steel disks 5, 5a, of which one (5) on the hollow piston rod 6 and the other (5a) on a shoulder in this piston rod screwed-in sleeve 7 is supported. In front of the sleeve in the central channel 8 of the piston rod 6 there is a check valve consisting of a ball 9 and a spring 10 and opening when air is sucked in.
The central channel 8 is freely connected to the atmosphere through a lateral bore 11 directly behind the actuating button 6a, which is firmly seated on the outer end of the piston rod.
The disc 5 has a hook attachment 5b, one end of a tension spring 18 is attached to wel chem, the other end of which is held captive in an extension of the bore of the body part 2.
The body part 1 containing the cylinder chamber 3 has a thick bottom in which a stepped bore 12 extends in the radial direction, which is in communication with the cylinder chamber 3 through a bore 13 parallel to the pump axis and which opens when air is expelled from a Ball 14 and a spring 15 includes a second check valve existing; In addition, a screw sleeve 16 is firmly screwed into the outer part of the bore 12, which is provided with an internal thread, and the rear end part of a hollow needle 17 is soldered into the bore.
This hollow needle extends at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the pump in the same diametrical plane as two diametrically opposed hook lugs 2a, 2b present at the outer end of the pump body part 2 leading to the piston rod 6.
During use, the hollow needle 17 is pushed so far into the cork K to be pulled out of the bottle F that the side air outlet opening 17a located at its tip is located in the air space between the cork K and the bottle contents. The user now engages behind, as illustrated in Fig. 2, with the index and middle finger of one hand, the hook attachments 2a, 2b of the body part 2 and presses the ball of this hand on the actuating button 6a.
As a result, the air located in the cylinder space 3 in front of the piston 4, 5, 5a and the valve 9, 10 is first compressed and then expelled through the valve 14, 15 and the hollow needle 17 into the air space located under the cork K . The pressure now exerted on the underside of the cork causes the cork to be ejected.
To achieve the required pressure, it may be necessary to operate the piston several times; the spring 1ss ensures the return to the starting position shown.
If it is feared that the cork suddenly pops off at the end of the extraction process, the bottle can be held by its neck with the other hand at the same time - as illustrated in FIG. 2 - and the device end located above the cork and thus also the cork itself with the Thumb of this hand must be secured against jumping away.
