Description
Transportpalette
Fig. 5 zeigt eine fahrbare Palette.
Transport pallet
Today, transport pallets are generally made of wood. The wooden pallets have various disadvantages in that the connections become loose quickly and the pallets have to be repaired, and there is always a risk that operators injure themselves on splinters of the wooden parts. Although metal pallets are also known, they are heavy and expensive. All known pallets also have the disadvantage that empty, stacked pallets take up a relatively large amount of space, because the pallets cannot be stacked one inside the other.
It is the aim of the present invention to avoid all the mentioned disadvantages of known transport pallets. The transport pallet according to the invention is characterized in that it is designed in one piece as a molded plastic part. There are therefore no loosening connections, and no splinters can arise on which operators can injure themselves. Furthermore, the production from plastic allows a much freer shaping than the production from wood or metal, so that the transport pallet according to the invention can be designed to be stackable to save space. For this purpose, feet with an upwardly open cavity and tapered downward, z. B. pyramidal or frustoconical, such that empty transport pallets can be stacked with interlocking feet.
In the drawing, three exemplary embodiments of the transport pallet according to the invention are shown.
Fig. 1 shows the transport pallet according to the first example in a spatial view from above.
Fig. 2 shows the same transport pallet in a spatial view from below, and
Fig. 3 shows stacked empty transport pallets according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in section.
Fig. 4 is a section through the second embodiment, and
Fig. 5 shows the third example in side view and partially in section, together with a single-axle chassis.
The one-piece made of plastic, for example with glass fibers, polyamide fibers, polyester fibers or vegetable fibers (z. B. Ramie, sisal) reinforced thermoset such. B. polyester or epoxy resin-pressed transport pallet of FIGS. 1 to 3 has a rectangular loading table 1, on which a foot 2 is formed in each of the four corners. The feet 2 are designed in the shape of a truncated pyramid and have a corresponding truncated pyramid-shaped cavity 3 which is open at the top.
Between the feet 2 1 longitudinal ribs 4 and transverse ribs 5 are formed on the underside of the loading table, which form a stiffened frame.
Further transverse ribs 6 are formed between the longitudinal ribs 4, so that the entire loading table 1 is stiffened by ribs. In the ribs are reinforcing bars 7, for. B. made of wood or metal, molded.
Individual transport pallets are loaded with goods in the usual way, after which the pallets can be picked up with the fork lifter. According to FIG. 3, empty transport pallets can be stacked in a space-saving manner with interlocking feet 2, the stacking distance being given by the height of the ribs 6.
In the example according to FIGS. 4 and 5, ribs 8 and 9 are produced by pressing into these beads when the loading table 1 is pressed.
The ribs 8 run at a right angle to the ribs 9 and form a grid of reinforcing ribs with the latter. By choosing the shape and position of the beads accordingly, the reinforcing ribs can be given a wide variety of shapes and positions.
Fig. 5 shows a mobile pallet. The continuously hollow feet 20 on one end face each have a roller 11 mounted in their cavity 3 by means of an axle 10 in the foot 20. So that these rollers 11 protrude downward from the feet 20 and the loading table 1 is still horizontal, the feet 20 are somewhat shorter than the feet 2. On the side of the feet 2, the loading table 1 has a downwardly projecting flange 12 which can be brought into engagement with forks 13 of a single-axle chassis 14 with drawbar 15 and running wheels 16 for the rolling transport of the pallet. This is done in a simple manner in that the drawbar 15 is pivoted counterclockwise so far that the forks 13 can be moved under the flange 12. If the drawbar 15 is swiveled back afterwards, the forks 13 come into engagement with the flange 12.
The feet 2 are raised a little, and the two-axle vehicle thus created can be moved with the help of the drawbar 15. If you want to park the pallet at the destination, the drawbar 15 is pivoted until the feet 2 are supported on the ground, whereupon the chassis 14 is removed.
The pallet according to FIG. 5 can also be stacked, in that there is enough space above the rollers 11 in the cavities 3 to accommodate the feet of the pallet above.
While there are only four feet in each corner of the pallet in the exemplary embodiments shown, more feet can of course be provided. For example, a fifth foot can also be attached in the center of the loading table 1. There can also be three rows of feet, each row having two or three feet. Instead of truncated pyramidal feet, frustoconical feet can also be present. If there is a foot in the middle of the loading table 1, the reinforcing ribs can run radially from this central foot to the corner feet.
In the embodiments shown, reinforcing ribs connecting the feet diagonally can also be present, and / or in the first and third example, in addition to transverse ribs 6, corresponding longitudinal ribs can also be present, so that here too a complete grid of reinforcing ribs is created.
It is often sufficient if the pallet can be picked up in one direction by the fork lifter. In this case, instead of individual feet, there could also be two or three support ribs extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the pallet, which are also tapered downward and hollow so that the empty pallets can be stacked to save space.
A thermoplastic (e.g. PVA, PA, NDPA, HPA, Hypalon, polypropylene, etc.) could also be selected as the plastic.
The loading table can also be designed in a sandwich construction, e.g. B. with a cover sheet made of plastic and a reinforcement made of plastic grids, honeycombs made of metal, paper or textiles.
