Connector for a hose that can be connected to a housing The invention relates to a connector for a hose that can be connected to a bore in a housing, in particular when this housing has a relatively thin wall thickness. The hose to be connected can either be an insulating hose for an electrical line,
act for an electrical cable and the like or a hose line to. Feeding a liquid or gaseous substance. Especially in the former case, a metal hose can also be used while; for the supply of a liquid or gaseous agent primarily a hose made of rubber or plastic comes into consideration.
Hose connections for housing walls are previously known in the form of so-called cable glands. If the housing wall has a greater thickness, the connection piece of the hose connection of this screw connection is screwed directly into the threaded hole in the wall of the housing. In the case of housings with relatively thin walls, the connection piece of the cable gland from the outside with an external thread bearing <RTI
ID = "0001.0034"> The nozzle is inserted through the hole in the housing and then screwed to the housing wall using a nut that can be screwed onto this nozzle inside the housing. This known cable gland requires a relatively large, expensive structural effort. It also takes up a relatively large amount of space, and ultimately it also involves somewhat more cumbersome assembly work.
The invention has set itself the task of housing, in particular, devices and apparatus of any type and purpose. To create a hose connection, which can be used to remedy the disadvantages mentioned by a particularly simple,
cheap and also in terms of weight lighter straight construction with a minimal space requirement and also allows easier to make the cultivation.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the hose connection piece consists of a sleeve that can be plugged into a hole made in it from the inside of the housing wall, which rests on the inside of the wall by means of a collar or flange formed on it against the mentioned hole and in front of the outside page,
the housing wall is fixed by Gegenhaltemmtr tel in the hole in the housing wall. In addition, this push-through sleeve is itself designed in such a way that it holds the hose to be connected practically directly or indirectly, on or in itself.
The plug-in sleeve that is created in this way and that holds itself in a bore in the housing wall by its shape can not only be produced more cheaply, but it also makes assembly easier because it does not have a screw connection in the bore of the housing wall or on the inside of this wall Makes thread more necessary.
The push-through sleeve corresponding to the invention, which extends itself on the inside of the wall through its. integrally formed flange or collar holds, gets, as mentioned, its firm seat by on .der the outside of the wall of the housing counter-holding means, which z. B. may consist of a press-fit clamping ring, which then make the sleeve insoluble mach.
However, it is also possible to use a screw nut as a counter-holding means, which can be screwed onto the connecting sleeve on its threaded part located outside the housing wall, thereby allowing the push-through sleeve to be detachably mounted on the housing wall.
This nut can have a diameter which does not have to significantly exceed that of the push-through sleeve, so that several hose connection pieces requiring little space can be moved relatively close to one another. This is also an advantage over the known hose connections.
The hose connection corresponding to the invention is also characterized by its simplified construction, in accordance with its simplified construction, by a relatively light weight, which is added to the lower space requirement achieved.
If the hose to be connected is a metal hose, the part of the connecting sleeve to be inserted from the inside of the housing wall that receives this hose is advantageously also equipped with a mating thread suitable for receiving the end of this metal hose.
On the other hand, if it is one to be connected. smooth-walled hose made of rubber or plastic, it is possible to design the part of the connecting sleeve that receives this hose in such a way that its hose-side end tapers somewhat conically at one point.
This conical part of the push-through sleeve is then assigned a union nut that clamps the hose end over it, which can advantageously also grasp the thread with which the sleeve is screwed to the housing wall. This results in a construction especially for a smooth-walled hose that is fed into a housing or to be connected to it, which at the same time also provides a good, firmly clamping seal for the hose.
The invention is explained and described in more detail with its details after standing with reference to> the drawing in two execution examples. 1 and 2 show a hose connection corresponding to the invention on a housing wall for a metal hose in a view and in section.
3 and 4 correspond to an embodiment of the hose connection for a smooth-walled hose, e.g. B. made of plastic or rubber, just if again in view and in section.
In the figures, 1 is the wall of a housing which is provided with a bore 2 and to which the hose connection is to be attached. According to FIGS. 1 and 2, this connection consists of a sleeve piece 3 which has a collar or flange 4 formed on its end on the inside of the wall. This flange has a diameter that is chosen so large that it can create the housing wall 1 behind the bore 2 inside when the sleeve piece 3 is inserted into the bore 2 from the inside of the housing.
The sleeve piece 3 also has a screw thread 5 adjoining the flange 4 towards the front. A screw nut 6 is screwed onto this thread from the outside, with which the sleeve piece can be screwed firmly to the wall 1 in the manner shown, by pulling the flange or collar 4 strongly against the wall 1 from the inside. At the front end of the sleeve piece 3 carries a thread 7 impressed. This thread corresponds to the turns as the metal hose 8 has on the outside according to its structure, which can thus be screwed tightly into the thread 7, as can be seen from FIG.
Inserted through the metal hose 8, an electrical line and in particular an electrical cable can then be introduced into the housing formed by the wall 1. According to the embodiment, as has been described above in accordance with FIGS. 1 and 2, the sleeve piece 3 ends on the inside of the housing in the collar or flange 4. It is also possible, however, to extend the wall of the sleeve 3, e.g.
B. to continue to run cylindrically into the inside of the housing, as shown in Fig. 2 with -the approach 9 in dashed lines, in order to also allow inside for the cable 'or the electrical line: to create a support.
According to the embodiment of the hose connection according to FIGS. 3 and 4, a push-through sleeve 3a is again provided. After it has been inserted through the bore 2 of the wall 1 of the housing from the inside, this sleeve piece is also screwed tightly against the housing wall 1 from the outside by the screw nut 6. The screw thread 5a used for this is, however, somewhat lengthened after it points outwards before the end of the sleeve 3a. In the same direction, this sleeve 3 a also tapers somewhat conically in section 10.
The end of the smooth-walled hose 11 to be connected to this sleeve 3 a is pushed over the sleeve 3 a so far that it engages at least over the conical section 10. The clamping and at the same time sealing hold of the hose end 11 be acted upon by an L7 union nut 12. This can still be screwed onto the screw thread 5a which is extended to the front.
Its rear end, which is kept thread-free and has a slightly smaller inside diameter than its thread, thereby presses the hose end firmly against the conical section 10 and thereby creates the desired tight fit of the hose. The union nut 12 can either have a knurled jacket 13 which makes it easy to grasp or be provided with a polygon like a conventional nut.
It should also be pointed out that a sealing ring 14 can also be seen under the flange collar 4 in order to hermetically seal the hose connection on the inside of the housing wall. This is particularly important if a liquid or gaseous medium is to be passed through the hose 11 to be connected.
The material of manufacture of the hose 11 can be chosen as desired according to the respective purpose. The wall thickness of the hose 11 can also be measured differently from case to case. The material from which the sleeve 3 or 3e is made can be steel, non-ferrous metal or possibly even plastic.
