Portable household mixing and kneading machine The present invention relates to a portable household mixing and kneading machine to drive interchangeable tools at two different speeds.
It is known that, for example, used with household mixers and kneading machines, interchangeable kneading hooks must be driven at a much lower speed than, for example, also from replaceable whisk.
So far, it has helped that the motor housing was provided with two device connections for different speeds, whereby the electric drive motor rated for the relatively high speed drives one connection directly, while between the motor and the other connection for low speed work equipment to be driven a reduction gear in the motor housing was housed un.
However, due to the built-in reduction gear, such machines are unwieldy, larger and heavier than the known machines with only one connection point for tools to be driven at high speed.
The purpose of the present invention is to avoid this disadvantage in particular, in that in a portable household mixing and kneading machine for driving interchangeable working devices at different speeds, two interchangeable coupling parts for the housing that includes the electric drive motor can be connected for the drive of various implements are vorgese hen, one of which contains a reduction gear.
In the drawing, an embodiment of a machine according to the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 the one, lower end of the machine with a connection part in section, partially in view, Fig. 2 is a plan view of a reduction gear arranged in the inner part, 3 shows the lower end of the machine with another connection part.
The drawn only with its lower part Ma machine has the insulating housing 1, in which an electric motor, not shown, is attached by means of a threaded connector 3 and a nut 4. The housing 1 has, in a known manner, a push button for switching on the electrical current supplied to the housing via a flexible cable. The housing 1 is dimensioned so that it can be grasped and held with one hand when working.
A sleeve 5 made of electrically insulating material is screwed onto the threaded connector 3, in which a coupling sleeve 6 is rotatably mounted, which is plugged onto the end of the shaft 7 of the electric motor designed as a splined shaft and protruding from the housing 1. The sleeve 6 is made of electrically insulating material and has four driver teeth 8.
An insulating housing 9, which serves as a coupling part for tools and in which a metal housing 10 with a pressed-in cover 11 is held, is screwed onto an external thread on the sleeve 5. A stub shaft 12, likewise provided with keyways, protrudes from the cover 11 on a screw 13 rotatably mounted in the housing 10.
The stub axle carries a coupling sleeve 14 of the same type as the coupling sleeve 6, but in the opposite position to the latter, the driver teeth 15 on the sleeve 14 being in engagement with the teeth 8 of the sleeve 6.
In the metal housing 10, two hollow shafts 16 are rotatably supported in bearings 17 on both sides of the motor shaft 7, under each other and parallel to the motor shaft. On each of the hollow shafts 16 sits a worm wheel 18, one of which is right-handed and the other left-handed. These worm wheels 18 mesh with worms 19, which are rotatably supported by a worm wheel 20 on transverse shafts 21 in the housing 10. The worm wheels 20 are in engagement with the worm 13.
Slowly rotating tools, in particular kneading hooks, can be inserted into the bore of the hollow shafts 16, with a transverse pin on these devices being inserted in transverse grooves 22 at the lower end of the hollow shafts 16 to take them along.
The housing 9 can be unscrewed from the thread of the sleeve 5 and in its place a housing 23 serving as a further coupling part (FIG. 3) is screwed, which contains a bearing for a shaft 24. The upper end of the shaft 24 located in the housing 22 carries a coupling sleeve similar to that on the stub axle 12. When the housing 22 is screwed onto the sleeve 5, the shaft 23 is coupled to the motor via the coupling sleeves.
The lower, free end of the shaft 23 is in turn designed as a grooved shaft, and on this end can NEN tools such as whisks, brooms, cutting discs with protective cage, etc., which are to be driven with the relatively high speed of the electric motor in the housing.
However, it would also be possible to provide threaded connectors for screwing on coupling parts at both ends of the housing, one of these coupling parts containing the reduction gear and the other being set up for the direct drive of implements from the engine.
