Pressure-tight coupling between pipes and hose lines The subject of the present invention is an easily assembled and separable pressure-tight coupling between pipes and hose lines for media under high pressure, such as oil, liquid fuel, water and air. Such clutches who kets in hydraulic and pneumatic control and work systems, in liquid engines of rockets, but also in chemical engineering equipment and building installations required.
In particular, the invention relates to a coupling in which rubber-elastic round profile rings are used as sealing elements, which are inserted in the circumferential grooves of cylindrical end pieces of the lines to be connected and the circumferential zones of a cylindrical inner surface of a sleeve that can be pushed over the joint, which is axial to the line axis be pressed.
In accordance with the invention, a coupling of this type is characterized in that at least two tangential pins, preferably those made of spring steel or a similarly strong and tough material, are used to secure the sleeve in the sealing layer, which are aligned with one another along a chord at their ends Sleeve jacket and are held on the middle part in a circumferential groove attached to the side of the sealing ring of the relevant line end piece facing away from the joint.
Compared to the screw connections usually used for line couplings of the type explained at the beginning to hold the sleeve in the sealing layer, the solution according to the invention shows significant advantages. Apart from the significantly lower production costs of such a pin lock for the sleeve, when using the newly proposed coupling in the pipe installation in question, no space has to be left free for attaching and turning the key required to tighten a union nut, and the pins used clearly indicate that the coupling is safely installed.
The securing pins can also be inserted regardless of the angular orientation of the end pieces to be connected, and they do not have to be moved in the axial direction to connect the cable end pieces.
Two design variants of the couplings according to the invention are shown in the drawing. 1 shows an axial longitudinal section through a coupling, FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line II-11 of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a view of a line end piece, FIG. 4 shows a longitudinal section corresponding to FIG. 1 a second embodiment of the coupling, FIG. 5 is a section along the line VV of FIG.
1-3 are designated with 11 and 21 Drucklei processing pipes, which are detachable with each other, but to be coupled pressure-tight: They are soldered into corresponding bores of end pieces designed as rotating parts 12 and 22, preferably by vacuum soldering. The solder layers are labeled 10 and 20, respectively. In practice, the procedure is that in the device in question, the conduit pipes are bent into the desired shape and cut to the desired lengths and that the end pieces are subsequently soldered to the ends in a vacuum furnace.
Each of the two end pieces has a circumferential groove on the outer, cylindrical end for inserting a so-called O-ring, i.e. H. of rubber-elastic round profile rings 13 or 23 as sealing elements. Only a cylindrical sleeve 3 with a pierced end wall 30 on one side and a cylindrical sealing surface 31 on the inside can be pushed over the joint between the two end faces of the two line end pieces 12, 13, so that the peripheral zones of the two O-rings 13, 23 are pressed against said inner surface 31 of the sleeve.
The end piece 22 contains on the side of the sealing ring 23 facing away from the joint a white direct circumferential groove 24, and the sleeve 3 contains two pairs of longitudinally parallel tendons aligned jacket bores at the point in question. Tangential pins 41, 42 made of spring steel are used to secure the line end pieces 12 and 22 and the sleeve 3 in the sealing position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2; .
These locking pins 41, 42 are designed as end pieces of a spring steel bracket 4, the clamping part 40 of which can be releasably clamped on the protruding from the bottom 30 of the sleeve 3 sleeve part of the end piece 12. The two pin ends 41, 42 of the spring clip 4 are also advantageously pretensioned so that they have to be pressed together for insertion into the sheath 3 and cannot inadvertently emerge from the securing position.
To produce a plug-in coupling of this type, the end pieces 12, 22 of the lines do not have to be axially displaced, but only aligned with one another. After the sleeve is pushed over the joint, which can be done, for example, by hand or with pliers, the spring clip 4 can be used without the need to bring the parts belonging to the coupling into a certain rotational position. The spring clip used indicates with certainty that the coupling in question is ready for operation and secured.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, hoses 14 are clamped onto the pipe socket 1 by means of clamps 15.
The end pieces 2 firmly connected to the pipe socket 1 are formed the same as the end piece 22 in FIGS. 1-3, d. H. they contain circumferential grooves for inserting the O-rings 13 and circumferential grooves 24 for two tangential pins each. The sleeve 5 has no bottom and is connected to the two end pieces 2 in the locking position by means of two spring clips 6, the ends of which serve as tangential pins 60. By grinding 61 on the outside of the bracket ends 60, outwardly protruding projections 62 are produced, which prevent the spring brackets from falling out of the position according to FIG.
Couplings of the type shown and described can be used in many variants practically everywhere where hose and pipelines have to be detachably attached to one another.
