Sharpening apparatus for grinding toothed tooth chains and their depth limiter There are sharpening apparatus for grinding Ho belzahnketten known in which the grinding wheel is inclined according to the desired relief and angle of inclination according to the scale. With individual devices, only one of the two angles can be set. All known devices have in common that only the planer teeth can be sharpened, but not the depth gauges. Special equipment is required for reworking.
The adjustment of the grinding angle has a detrimental effect insofar as the cutting performance of the planer tooth chain is reduced by inaccurate setting and that - if there are angular deviations, too much material has to be ground away from the planer tooth, which significantly increases chain wear and thus costs.
The subject of the present invention is a sharpening apparatus for grinding toothed tooth chains and their depth limiter, in which the motor and the grinding wheel supporting rocker through an adjustable, path-limiting, telescopic stop with the base plate is verbun in such a way that when relaxed the ent If helical springs hold the grinding wheel lifted off the workpiece by the excess weight of the motor and when the spring is tensioned, the grinding wheel is pressed against the workpiece, in the first case for grinding the planer teeth and in the second case for regrinding the depth limiter,
In both cases, the working depth of the grinding wheel can be adjusted using a knurled nut on the stop.
Furthermore, two surfaces are advantageously provided on the base plate of this apparatus, symmetrical to the longitudinal axis, whose angle to the longitudinal axis corresponds to optimal cutting ratios, and which serve as rigid stops for the pivotably arranged chain holder, for the left and right-hand plane teeth.
Further .ist expediently provided that the pivot point of the swiveling chain holder is exactly below the lowest point of the grinding wheel in order, with the longitudinal stop for the plane tooth chain, a symmetrical grinding of the left and right-hand side. To preserve planer teeth.
With this invention, the aforementioned shortcomings and disadvantages are eliminated.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown. 1 shows an overall view of the apparatus; 2 shows a section through the telescopic stop; Position: sharpening the planer teeth; 3 like FIG. 2, but position: regrinding of the depth limiter; Fig. 4 the arrangement when grinding the planer teeth.
A hinge 3 is arranged on a base plate 1 by means of a bracket 2, the axis 4 of which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the base plate 1, but at an angle a to the base plate 1. The hinge 3 carries pivotably about the axis 4 a rocker 5, on one end of which a motor 6 and at the other end of which a spindle bearing 7 for the grinding disc 8 is attached. The grinding wheel 8 is driven by the motor 6 via the pulleys 9, 9 'and the belt 10.
The conditions on the rocker arm 5 are selected so that the excess weight is on the motor side and thus the grinding wheel 8 lifts off the workpiece without any external influence. On the spindle bearing 7 is a protection 11 and attached to the operating lever 12, by means of which the grinding wheel 8 can be moved up and down. Between the hinge 3 and the spindle position 7 a sleeve 13 is movably mounted on the rocker arm 5.
This sleeve 13,! The Mange 14 movably connected at the lower end to the base plate 1 with threads at both ends, the intermediate lying helical spring 15, the knurled nut 16 screwed on the lower Ge thread of the rod 14, the lock nut 17 on the Upper Ge thread of the rod 14 screwed knurled nut 18 and the spacer sleeve 14 'lying between this and the coil spring 15 form a telescopic stop for the rocker 5. The knurled nuts 16 and 17 are used to limit the depth of the grinding wheel 8, the knurled nut 18 to tension and relax the spring 15.
The workpiece, the toothed chain 19, is guided and held in the chain holder. This consists of two jaws 21 and 21 ', between which the plane tooth chain 19 is placed and means. Eccentric lever 20 is tightened. The with jaw 21 firmly connected tab 28 carries, movable in the longitudinal direction and lockable by screw 27, a stop spring 26, which against. the back of the planer teeth 29, 29 'braces.
The chain holder is rotatably supported by its pin 24 in an arm 22 of the base plate 1 in such a way that the axis of rotation lies between the jaws 21 and 21 'and goes through the lowest point of the grinding wheel 8.
The lateral deflection, the inclination of the chain holder, is limited by the surfaces 23 and 23 'designed as rigid stops on the base plate 1. These two surfaces 23 and 23 'lie symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of the base plate 1, specifically at an angle which corresponds to the optimal cutting ratios of the toothed chains. The chain holder is fixed to the stops by the lever nut 31. For re-grinding the depth limiter 30, the chain holder is fixed in the central position, parallel to the end face 25 of the base plate 1.
The planer teeth 29, 29 'are ground by screwing up the knurled nut 18 to the upper end of the rod 14, setting the grinding disk 8 to the level of the tooth base between the planer teeth 29, 29' using knurled screws 16 and 17 and adjusting the stop spring 26 against the back of the plane tooth to be ground :. The chain holder must lie firmly against one of the stop surfaces 23 or 23 'and be fixed.
The planer teeth are sharpened by moving the grinding wheel 8 up and down by means of the operating lever 12, pulling the chain onto the next tooth, which is in the same direction, and after the chain has fully revolved, changing the chain holder to the opposite incline for sharpening of the opposing planing teeth.
The regrinding of the depth limiter 30 he follows by screwing back the knurled nut 18 until the grinding wheel 8 is pressed against the chain and setting the grinding wheel 8 with the depth gauge to the level of the depth limiter 30, then the chain is pulled back and forth several times, the grinding wheel 8 lifted and the next depth limiter ground to the same height. When doing this, fix the chain holder in the middle position and remove the stop spring 26.
