Screw coupling The present invention relates to a screw coupling for the detachable connection of two shaft parts, with two coupling parts each connected to one of the two shafts.
The screw coupling according to the invention is characterized in that the mutual centering of the two coupling parts is effected directly by engaging centering surfaces of these coupling parts, the fixed connection between the two coupling parts, however, by a coupling part screwed to one coupling part without influencing the other the centering we kendes intermediate piece takes place.
The coupling according to the invention can, for. B. for the transmission of torques in Arbeitsmaschi NEN or as a jig z. B. from work or tool holders are used on machine tools.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the coupling according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a three-dimensional view of the hitch be with separate items, and Fig. 2 is an axial section through the assembled clutch.
One head-like coupling part 1 is made of one piece with one shaft part 2. This shaft part 2 can, for. B. an interchangeable work tool shaft or mandrel, z. B. a grinding mandrel, bil the. The head-like coupling part 1 has an internal thread 3, a flat support surface 5 that is exactly perpendicular to the axis of rotation 4 and a conical centering surface 6 that is exactly coaxial with the axis 4. This centering surface could also be cylindrical.
The other, also head-like coupling part 7 consists of one piece with the other shaft part 8. This shaft part 8 can, for. B. the work spindle of a machine tool, e.g. B. form a grinding spindle. The coupling part 7 has a flat support surface 9, exactly perpendicular to the axis of rotation 4, for cooperation with the support surface 5 of the coupling part 1 and a conical centering surface 10 that is exactly coaxial with the axis 4 for cooperation with the centering surface 6 of the coupling part 1. The surface 10 could also be like the surface 6 be cylindrical.
The centering surface 10 is interrupted by three depressions 11, which serve a purpose described below.
The intermediate piece 12 has a threaded pin 13 that can be screwed to the internal thread # e 3 of the coupling part 1 and a flange 14 consisting of one piece with this with three bayonet locking tabs 15. Holes 16 of the flange 14 are used for the loose passage of blind bores 17 of the Coupling part 7 insertable anti-rotation pins 18.
The assembly of the coupling shown and described goes as follows: To install the intermediate piece 12 in the hitch bevel 7, the flange flaps 15 are inserted along the indentations 11 into the space 19 of the coupling part 7 and then the intermediate piece 12 is rotated to the tabs 15 come to lie behind the ring sections 20 of the part 7. The parts 15 and 20 thus form a bayonet-like closure, only they do not have a clamping suit on their working surfaces. As shown in FIG. 2, the tabs 15 have both radial and axial play in space 19.
After the above-mentioned rotation of the intermediate piece 12 is a hole 16 of the intermediate piece 12 is coaxial with a blind hole 17 of the coupling part 7, so that the pins 18 can be brought into the position of FIG. 2, where they the intermediate piece 12 with the exception Secure their play in the holes 16 against rotation relative to the coupling part 7.
If you now want to couple the shaft part 2 with the shaft part 8, then screw the internal thread 3 of the coupling part 1 onto the pin 13 of the intermediate piece 12. In this process, the support surface 5 rests against the support surface 9 and the centering surfaces 6 provide and 10 for precise coaxiality of the shaft parts 2 and 8, so that absolutely precise concentricity is guaranteed. The tabs 15 of the intermediate piece 12 are pressed against the inner end faces 21 of the ring sections 20, and the two shaft parts 2 and 8 are firmly coupled to one another.
Thanks to the play of the tabs 15 in the space 19 and the pins 18 in the holes 16 inaccuracies in the threads 3 and 13 have no effect on the exact centering and concentricity of the two shaft parts 2 and B. Centering and concentricity depend solely on from surfaces 5, 9, 6 and 10, which are manufactured very precisely, can NEN. The intermediate piece 12 therefore has no influence on centering and concentricity. The support at three points by the tabs 15 is particularly favorable.
The illustrated and described coupling has other advantages: The shaft part 8, so z. B. a grinding spindle with the coupling part 7, has no thread that could suffer deformation after its production by the subsequent ther mix treatment. There are also no stresses whatsoever in the shaft part 8 when screwing. For the shaft part 8, the ge most suitable material for the present purpose can be selected without having to take into account a thread, in particular a flat thread. In the same way, the most favorable material with respect to the thread of the pin 13 can be selected for the intermediate piece 12.
Because the shaft part 8 or its coupling part 1 does not have a thread, the shaft part 8 does not have to be replaced to match the thread of the coupling part 1, but only the intermediate piece 12, which is particularly important when the interchangeable wel Part 2 is advantageous. As FIG. 2 shows, the thread 3, 13, support 5, 9 and centering 6, 10 lie between two planes lying close to one another and perpendicular to the axis 4. The coupling is very short, which is particularly important for work spindles, e.g. B. grinding spindles, with regard to stress and deflection is very desirable.
All these advantages are lacking in known couplings where the two coupling parts are screwed directly to one another.
In another, not shown embodiment of the coupling according to the invention, the intermediate piece can act on the coupling part 7 by means of a rod which passes through an axial bore of the coupling part 7 and the shaft part 8 and engages the end of the shaft part 8 facing away from the coupling part 7.
In a further, not shown embodiment of the coupling according to the invention, the thread can be seen outside the centering surfaces.
