Additional patent to main patent no. 380 391 Mechanical scanning device for the pointer measuring position of a photographic exposure meter The invention relates to a mechanical scanning device for the measuring position of a lockable pointer of an electric exposure meter of photographic cameras.
According to the claim of the main patent, such a scanning device consists of a support part rotatable about a fixed axis, which carries a second component designed as a tracking pointer so that it can pivot against a spring and is arranged in such a way that the tracking pointer points to the measuring range of the instrument when the scanning device is rotated brushed and moves freely with its free end at a small distance in front of a stationary, circular cylindrical clamping surface at an angle to the radius of this clamping surface,
which is kleini ner than the critical angle of the friction between him and the clamping surface until he touches the instrument pointer protruding into his trajectory, is thereby slightly pivoted relative to the carrier part and in this position at the front end and the entire scanning device clamped against the clamping surface immovably bar.
The present invention is a further development of such a scanning device with the aim of using an adjusting device for the scanning elements to ensure secure and perfect clamping of the tracking pointer and to prevent the tracking pointer from pressing the locked exposure meter pointer with too great a force .
According to the invention, this is achieved by an adjusting device with adjustment means for the alignment of the tracking pointer with respect to its ra-media range and with respect to the angle that the tangents include, which lie at the intersection of the circular arc-shaped clamping surface with the Kreisbo gene, which the free end of the tracking pointer at Describes pivoting around its center.
Embodiments of the invention shown schematically are explained in more detail below with reference to the figures.
The figures show: FIG. 1 a scanning device with an adjusting device in plan view, FIG. 2 the scanning and adjusting device according to FIG. 1 in section, FIG. 3 another embodiment of the scanning and adjusting device, FIG. and adjusting device according to FIG. 3 in section.
According to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a moving coil instrument with the magnet 2, the moving coil 3 and the pointer 4 is arranged within a light meter housing 1. The instrument pointer 4 can be pressed onto the stationary surface 7 by the clamping bracket 5 acted upon by the force of the torsion spring 6 and locked there in its measuring position.
The turntable instrument is covered by a housing-fixed plate 8, on which two superposed disks 9 and 12 are rotatably mounted on a common axis closed by the screw 13. The lower disk 9 is provided on its periphery with a toothed sector 10 which engages in the rack teeth 11a of the slide 11, by which the exposure adjusters of the camera, not shown in FIG. 1, are operated.
On the upper disk 12, the tracking pointer 15 is mounted pivotably about a bolt 14, which by means of the weak spring 16 rests with its one edge 15a under slight pressure against the stop 17 designed as an eccentric. By turning the eccentric 17, the rest position of the guide pointer 15 can be changed relative to the disc 12 and thus also the angle a that the guide pointer 15 forms with the instrument pointer 4 in the designated contact position. In this case, however, the angle a corresponds to the angle ss which is formed by the tangents laid out at the intersection of the two mentioned arcs.
The disc 12 can be rotated relative to the disc 9 by an eccentric 20 which is fastened on the disc 9 and which engages through an elongated hole 21 in the disc 12; so that all components attached to the disk 12, including the tracking pointer 15, are pivoted into their position relative to the rest of the light meter housing,
In particular, the distance from the upper clamping surface 18 of the scanning pointer 15 to the circular arc-shaped clamping surface 19 of the exposure meter housing 1 is increased or decreased. The center of curvature of the circular arc-shaped clamping surface 19 coincides with the pivot point of the exposure meter pointer. 2 supplements the representation according to FIG. 1. In particular, the cover 22 of the exposure meter housing 1 is visible here, which is expediently made of a transparent plastic.
This transparent cover 22 has a borehole 23, through which it is possible to reach the eccentrics 17 and 20 with a screwdriver even when the light meter housing is already closed and mounted, and thus to make adjustments with the camera fully mounted.
The effect of the overall arrangement is as follows: By actuating a hand (not shown), the slide 11 is moved against the direction of the arrow and rotates the disk 9 by engaging the toothed bar 11a in the toothed ring 10, whereby the tracking pointer 15 is guided against the light meter pointer 4.
At the same time, the inclined surface 11b of the slide 11 slides under the left arm of the clamping bracket 5, whereby the latter presses the exposure meter pointer 4 against the locking surface 7, and thereby the exposure meter pointer 4 is locked in its deflection position corresponding to the light flux impinging on the photocell.
If the pin 15b of the tracking pointer 15 hits the free end of the exposure meter pointer 4, if the disk 9 is rotated further, the tracking pointer 15 is lifted against the weak force of the spring 16 with the surface 15a of the eccentric 17 and hits with its clamping surface 18 its free end on the housing-side clamping surface 19, with which it is then firmly clamped immovably. The stronger the scanning pressure on the slide 11, the stronger the jamming of the tracking pointer 15 with the clamping surface 19 on the housing side.
As a result, all adjustments associated with the movement of the slide 11, e.g. B. diejeni conditions of any exposure factor setting on the camera, such as time setting ring, aperture setting ring or exposure value setting ring, reliably brought to the setting value indicated by the indicator 6. The above-mentioned handle for operating the slide 11 can now be coupled to the release button so that the lock is released after the tracking pointer is clamped.
After triggering, the locking of the exposure meter pointer and the clamping of the tracking pointer should be released again by returning the slide 11 to its starting position and thereby releasing the tracking pointer 15 from the clamping surface 19 and lifting the clamping bracket 5 through the inclined surface 11b . By adjusting the eccentrics 17 and 20, the tracking pointer 15 is set in the manner described above so that these scanning and clamping processes run smoothly.
Fig. 3 and 4 show another Ausführungsbei game of the invention. It is arranged here in the exposure meter housing 24 in the bearings 25 to a clamping bracket 26, which, in contrast to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, moves against the cover of the exposure meter housing and the exposure meter pointer 27 on a locking surface 28 of the exposure Clamping meter housing cover 43 (Fig. 4).
The moving-coil measuring instrument 30 connected to the exposure meter housing 24 by the cross member 29 is in this case not behind the adjusting device, but below it. The adjusting device consists of a disk 32, on which a disk 33 is adjustably mounted, which in turn carries a tracking pointer 35 which is pivotably mounted on a bolt 34 and which is pressed by the spring 36 against the eccentric 37, so that an adjustment of the eccentric 37 a Pivoting of the tracking pointer 35 results in the angle a, which the central axis of the tracking pointer 35 includes when it rests on the exposure meter pointer 27 with this, is changed.
At the same time, the angle / 3 is also changed, which is enclosed by the tangents applied at the point of intersection of the circular arc-shaped clamping surface 39 with the circular arc that the tracking pointer 35 describes when pivoting about the bolt 34. The circular arc-shaped clamping surface 39 has its center of curvature in the axis of the bolt 40, while the light meter pointer 27 has its pivot point in the axis of the moving-coil measuring instrument 30 or in the axis of the bolt 38.
This means that in this version there is no connection between the angles a and ss; the angle a changes over the pivoting path of the exposure meter pointer or the tracking pointer. The discs 32 and 33 are movably connected to the light meter housing 24 by the bolt 40. Another Exzen ter 41, which is rotatably connected to the disc 32 and engages through an elongated hole 42 in the disc 33, allows a rotation of the disc 33 and thus a displacement of the tracking pointer 35 in the direction of the clamping surface 39 out.
The housing cover 43 (Fig. 4) is connected with screws 44 to the exposure meter housing 24 and has an opening 45 opposite the adjusting device, which allows the eccentrics 37 and 41 to be operated from the outside when the exposure meter housing is already installed and thus the adjustment is already done mounted camera. The overall arrangement works here as well as in the description of FIGS. 1 and 2.
