Description

       Sur        les        figures,    1 désigne une cavité aménagée  pour le montage     d'un        escalier    ; 2 des marches roulan  tes ; 3 le     guide-main    mobile ; 4 un     support    du     guide-          main;    5 les     panneaux        transparents    montés du côté       intérieur    de la     rampe    ;

   6 et 7 les     montants    sur les  quels     repose        le    support 4 du     guide-main    ; 8 une lampe       fluorescente    montée directement sous le     support    4 ; 9  est     une        enveloppe        destinée    à     diffuser    la     lumière    de la  lampe     fluorescente    ;

  Transparent light ramp, in particular for an escalator The present invention relates to a transparent light ramp, in particular for a: escalator.

  Stairs installed in department stores are very often fitted with handrails with transparent panels, which remarkably contribute to the creation of a cheerful atmosphere, provide a beautiful appearance and give the feeling of space.

       On the other hand, inside the handrails of conventional stairs are usually mounted the machines and apparatus intended to drive and guide the hand guides, as well as the lighting devices, so that if one uses transparent panels,

    all these organs are seen from the outside, which does not provide a pleasant appearance. To avoid this drawback, we have to provide a special construction, so that inside the ramps there is an empty space.

  The aim of the present invention is to provide such a ramp provided with a lighting device which can be mounted inside 'and which does not destroy their aesthetic appearance.

  Usually used for the ramps of this kind of fluorescent lamps mounted directly under the support of the hand guides and the wires connected to the fluorescent lamps are arranged along the bars intended

  to support the guide-hand. However, when using transparent panels and when applying a conventional construction, this destroys the aesthetic appearance of the ramp. The present invention aims to avoid these drawbacks.

   The ramp according to the invention is characterized in that luminescent lamps are mounted directly under the support of the hand guide and in that the supply conductors of these lamps are arranged together in an empty space existing inside said support.

  The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the subject of the present invention.

  Fig. 1 shows a side view of a staircase provided with a transparent ramp; fig. 2 is a section taken along line II-II of FIG. 1.

       In the figures, 1 denotes a cavity fitted out for mounting a staircase; 2 rolling steps; 3 the mobile hand guide; 4 a support for the hand guide; 5 transparent panels mounted on the interior side of the ramp;

   6 and 7 the uprights on which the support 4 of the hand guide rests; 8 a fluorescent lamp mounted directly under the support 4; 9 is an envelope intended to diffuse the light of the fluorescent lamp;

   10 designates the power conductors for each fluorescent lamp. These lamps are mounted in the cavity P arranged inside the support 4, in which the supply conductors 10 are arranged. It designates a connecting wire making it possible to connect each fluorescent lamp to its stabilizer 12.

        The conductors 10 are respectively connected to the supply conductors by means of the conductor 11, through a fuse. The conductor 11 is mounted along an upright, or in a part covered with an opaque panel 15.

  The principles described above can also be "applied to a steeply sloping moving track, or to a rolling goods display device.
