Circuit arrangement for magnetic flux meters The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for magnetic flux meters. Counting circuits of this type use the storage capacity of ferromagnetic materials with an approximately rectangular hysteresis loop.
During the counting process, the magnetic induction of the core is gradually transferred from positive saturation to negative saturation or vice versa. A certain number of pulses of constant voltage-time integral from a pulse shaper are fed to the counter core.
If counting circuits are set up with several counting levels, then. an output signal is required which indicates that the magnetic core is in its end position, i.e. H. has reached saturation. It is often the case that the counter core must immediately be returned to its initial retentive state.
Arrangements are proposed which provide an additional comparison core or a display core to show the saturation state of the counter core. These arrangements are still very complex and do not yet allow a direct reset of the counter core when it reaches the saturation state.
An arrangement is known which displays the state of saturation and resets the counter core without an additional core. The pulses of constant voltage-time integral emitted by the pulse shaper core are fed to the input winding: the counter core via a decoupling network and a series resistor. As long as the counter core is not saturated, there is only a small voltage drop across the resistor.
This series resistor is in series with a feedback winding of the counter core in the control circuit of the reset switching transistor. The reset switch is blocked by a bias.
In the unsaturated state of the counter core, a voltage is induced in the control circuit of the reset switch via the feedback winding of the counter core, which counteracts the voltage drop at the series resistor.
In this way, the reset switch monitor remains blocked. If the counter core has reached saturation, then the input resistance of the counter core input winding decreases sharply and the voltage drop across the series resistor increases sharply.
In addition, since the reset winding is no longer coupled to the input winding of the counter core, the counter voltage induced in the control circuit is also eliminated.
The reset switching transistor is unlocked by the large voltage drop occurring at the series resistor. The counter core is reset by the reset pulse that occurs in the reset winding located in the output circuit of the reset switching transistor. This arrangement offers the great advantage
that the saturation display and the resetting of the counter core are solved without an additional core. This advantage is paid for by the fact that in the counting circuit, i. H. a resistor must be placed between the pulse shaper output winding and the meter core input winding.
This series resistor falsifies the counting accuracy due to its tolerance, its temperature behavior, etc., since it forms a voltage divider with the input resistance of the counter core input winding.
In order to achieve the highest possible counting accuracy, the aim is to keep the resistance in the counting circuit as small as possible. The counting rate of the counting stage is then given in a simple manner by the ratio of the number of turns of the pulse shape output winding to the counter core input winding.
It is the object of the invention to provide an arrangement for displaying the saturation state and for resetting the counter core, which only uses the windings of the pulse former core and the counter core that are necessary in terms of function and therefore already present, without the disadvantage:
the known arrangement. The arrangement according to the invention solves this problem in that the output winding of the pulse shaper core and the blocking oscillator feedback winding of the counter core are connected in series and arranged in the control circuit of the blocking oscillator switch,
that the output signal of the pulse shaper core unlocks the blocking oscillator switch when the counter core changes to saturation.
In the unsaturated state of the counter core, the blocking oscillator switch is blocked by a bias voltage and the output signals of the pulse shaper core are compensated by the voltage of the feedback winding induced in the control circuit of the blocking oscillator switch.
If the counter core is saturated, then the voltage induced by the feedback winding is missing in the control circuit of the blocking oscillator damper. The output voltage from the pulse shaper core reaches the control circuit of the blocking oscillator switch. The blocking oscillator switch is unlocked and the oscillation process begins.
A display device located in the output circuit of the blocking oscillator switch, for example, responds and shows the saturation status of the counter.
If the reset winding of the counting core is in the output circuit of the blocking oscillator switch, the counting core is returned to the starting position. So that the reset pulse does not influence the setting pulse supplied from the pulse former core,
an integrator in the control circuit of the blocking oscillator switch can delay the display of the saturation state and / or the resetting of the counter core until the setting pulse has decayed.
The arrangement according to the invention is explained using the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. The pulses to be counted are passed on via the output winding WA of the pulse shaper core IK to the input winding WE of the counting core ZK when the sound is conducting.
The upper terminal of the output winding WA of the pulse former core is at the same potential 0 as an electrode E of the control circuit of the speech oscillator switch Tr2. The other electrode B of the control circuit is supplied with such a bias voltage via the resistor R2 that the blocking rocker switch Tr2 is blocked.
The output winding WA of the pulse shaper core is connected in series with the feedback winding WR of the counter core ZK. The resistor R1 in: this circuit is only used to limit the current. These two windings WA and WR are connected in series and dimensioned such that the voltage induced via WR when the counter core is not saturated compensates or overcompensates the output pulses from WA.
If the counter core reaches saturation, the windings WE and WR of the counter core are no longer coupled to one another. In response to the counting pulse of the output winding WA, no counter voltage is induced via WR any more.
The output winding WA and the feedback winding WR are in the control circuit of the blocking oscillator switch Tr2. The output pulse from WA is directed and dimensioned in such a way that the bias of the blocking oscillator switch is canceled and the transistor becomes conductive.
The capacitor C in the control circuit delays this process until the control pulse has decayed. When the transistor Tr2 is conductive, the reset winding WTr of the counter core is excited. The sense of direction is chosen in such a way that the counter core assumes its initial retentiveness again.
The reset pulse that occurs over the counter core winding WE can use the. Through switch Trl does not have an effect on the pulse shaper core, since the transistor Trl is blocked during this time.
In the same way, the flip-back pulse of the pulse feeder core is kept away from the counting core via the through switch Trl.
In the output circuit of the blocking oscillator switch, of course, only one display device can be switched on, or one display device can be arranged together with the reset winding. This depends on the type and use of the counting stage in a counting circuit.
