Fig. 4 die Draufsicht auf Fig. 3.
Conveyor for moving parts up or down
The direction and the size of the force impulses exerted by a periodically stimulated to vibrations track body on mass parts located in this track is known to be chosen so that the individual parts do so, provided that a horizontal or an upward transport of the parts is to be achieved Accelerated experience that they detach from the track and perform a throwing motion diagonally upwards.
In a known embodiment of such a parts conveyor, the parts are transported from bottom to top in a helix attached to a cylinder jacket in that an electromagnet arranged on a base plate acts with its resulting force in the direction of the axis of the cylinder and periodically pulls it downwards.
This initially purely vertical movement of the cylinder carrying the helical path is transformed with the help of trailing arms acting on the cylinder so that the cylinder - as a result of the deflection of the springs under the influence of the excitation force - executes a vertical downward and a rotary movement; when the trailing arm springs snap back, a vertical force component directed upwards and a component in the circumferential direction acts on each mass particle, so that these parts are lifted off the web and thrown obliquely upwards in the conveying direction. The trailing arm springs are also supported on the base plate and are inclined to the axis of the helical path.
With this drive and support system there are preferred difficulties to the effect that the upper part of the unit which is set in vibration, the cylinder-spiral path oscillates out of phase with respect to the lower part on which the springs act. The higher the cylinder, the less favorable these ratios are. Additional measures are required to avoid such a potentially significant impairment of the promotional effect. So one has z. B. to maintain phase equality on the upper part of the cylinder, additional masses attached to springs are attached, which transmit pulses to the cylinder in the correct sense.
It is the object of the present invention to provide a simple and robust drive and support or
To create a return system which, in addition to a reduced overall height, also has more favorable conditions with regard to the in-phase oscillation of the carrier containing the spiral path. This problem can be solved according to the invention in a conveyor for the upward or downward transport of parts, which has a carrier which can be set to vibrate with horizontal rotating and vertical components, contains a spiral track, is resiliently supported and is electromagnetically driven, according to the invention, that the electromagnetic drive so acting on the carrier of the helical path is arranged that the vector of the resulting magnetic drive force lies in a horizontal plane and that the link or return springs are inclined to the axis of the helical path.
Further details are discussed in more detail below with reference to the drawing, which illustrates some exemplary embodiments of the invention.
Show it:
Fig. 1 is a side view of a parts conveyor partially in section,
FIG. 2 is a plan view of the parts conveyor according to FIG. 1,
3 shows the side view of a parts conveyor only with electromagnets as the drive element, also partially cut,
FIG. 4 shows the top view of FIG. 3.
On the inner wall of the boiler 2, the spiral track 1 is attached, on which the parts to be conveyed and possibly to be sorted move, in the illustrated spring position and pulling direction upwards. The boiler is supported by springs on the base plate 3, and in the case of FIGS. 1 and 2 guide springs 5 are provided whose spring constant need only be very small, while in the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 return springs 8 with correspondingly larger ones Number of springs are required. These trailing arms allow the boiler 2 to move obliquely upwards with the spiral path 1 and can be made of wood or some other suitable material with a small number of springs.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the electromagnetic drive in the form of oscillating motors 4 is arranged on the boiler shell serving here as a carrier in such a way that the resulting magnetic drive force is directed horizontally and acts tangentially on the boiler.
The oscillating motors 4 each consist of an alternating current magnet and armature 6, which is coupled to the part 7 consisting of winding and core via springs.
The armature 6 is firmly combined with the boiler coil unit by means of a receiving housing (not shown). This mass represents the working mass, while the component 7 with a housing, not shown for the sake of clarity, embodies the free mass which is effective as a counter mass. The oscillating motor can of course just as well attack the boiler bottom, as is indicated by dashed lines in FIG. The oscillating motors are denoted by 4 '.
In the embodiment of the parts conveyor illustrated by FIGS. 3 and 4, each electromagnet 9 rests on a bearing 10 which is arranged on the base plate 3. The armature 11 is firmly combined with the boiler-coil unit. The resulting driving force also acts here in a horizontal plane and tangentially in relation to the boiler. The springs 8, which are arranged at a suitable angle to the base plate, serve both for resetting and for steering. With 12 a device for regulating the drive is referred to, which consists for example of a potentiometer or a variable transformer and allows the adjustment of the amplitude by changing the supply voltage.
For the sake of clarity, the device is shown outside the boiler area, but is expediently accommodated in the space between the boiler bottom and the base plate in the form of a closed device.
If only one drive element is used, it can prove to be advantageous to place a corresponding counterweight on the side of the helical support or the drive diametrically opposite the drive.
Provide boiler. If necessary, parts of the regulating device can also be used as compensation elements.
If, in the exemplary embodiments illustrated by the figures, the direction of pull of the magnets is reversed, the parts fed into the conveyor are also conveyed upwards.
While in the first case, i.e. with the opposite drive direction, the conveying effect is achieved by erecting the springs under the influence of the tensile forces, the springback effect of the springs is used to move the parts upwards when the tensile force is offset by 1800.
If, in such an arrangement, the helical path is replaced by one that rises in the opposite direction of rotation, a downward conveyor is obtained; the same is true when the springs are arranged with the opposite (positive or negative) pitch relative to the base plate.
