Description
Packaging for hammers
The invention relates to a novel packaging for a plurality of hammers stacked on top of one another.
Until now, the hammers were mostly packed in cardboard boxes, which had the disadvantage that they were not fixed against each other and were therefore easily damaged during transport.
The primary aim of the invention is to remedy this deficiency. At the same time, however, packaging is to be created that has exceptional advantages from the point of view of sales technology.
The invention basically consists in that for the packaging of a plurality of hammers stacked one on top of the other, on the one hand, a corrugated cardboard cover is selected for the hammer handles and, on the other hand, a box-shaped pocket is selected for the hammer heads and has a longitudinal slot in its rear wall so that it can be attached to the stacked hammer heads to be able to attach.
If the corrugated cardboard cover is designed in such a way that the corrugated cardboard is guided in a wave-like manner around the stems and then a closed casing is formed from it, the guarantee for a practically play-free cohesion of the stems is given, which excludes mutual damage to the stems. The corrugated cardboard cover itself can be glued or held together by a cover made of polyester resin, for example. The increasing reinforcement of the handles towards the ends of the handles also prevents the corrugated cardboard cover from being easily pulled off, so that the hammers can be conveyed by gripping the corrugated cardboard covers.
The pocket for the hammer heads is preferably designed in such a way that its front wall can be removed, preferably folded down. This enables the hammers to be removed individually from the whole pack, and you then have the option of either closing the packaging again or leaving the face of the hammer heads visible, which makes selection and operation much easier for the customer and the seller. In this way, the number of hammers still present in the package would also be visible at all times, and the weights of the hammers that had been hit would also be recognizable at all times.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is illustrated in two embodiments:
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, a sheet of corrugated cardboard 1 is guided around the stems in a wave-like manner, from which a completely closed envelope is formed. The hammer heads 2 of the hammers stacked on top of one another are enclosed by a separate pocket 3, the rear wall 3 'of which has a longitudinal slot 4 so that the pocket can be pushed onto the pile of hammers from below or above. The front wall 3 ″ of the bag can be folded down so that the face of the hammer stack is visible when the bag is folded down. The actual closure of the bag is formed by an attachable cap 5 that holds the bag together as a whole.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the front wall 3 ″ of the pocket 3 has a flap 3 ″ ′ which overlaps the head side of the pocket and which can be fastened with tongues 6 in transverse slots 7 in the rear wall 3 ′. Here, too, a cap 5 can also be pulled on.
As can be clearly seen from the drawings, the type of packaging according to the invention allows individual hammers to be pulled out without losing the cohesion of the others. When the front wall is folded down, the type of hammer, the stock of hammers and other characteristics can be recognized by the seller and the customer without any manipulation, which makes the sales transaction much easier for the customer and the seller.
