Infolgedessen muss man in solchen Fällen wesentlich grössere Motortypen wäh len.
Ventilated motor with slip rotor Electric motors with slip rotor, in particular three-phase motors, have so far mostly been cooled by a fan located on the motor shaft. When such motors are operated at strongly sub-synchronous speeds, a correspondingly large part of the three-phase power consumed in the rotor occurs as heat loss that has to be dissipated.
If the motor is self-ventilated by a fan attached to the motor shaft, difficulties arise in that the fan only delivers little cooling air at a lower speed, while the heat loss from the rotor to be dissipated in this operating state is high and therefore particularly good ventilation is required would. As a result, you have to choose much larger motor types in such cases. In order to avoid this, the motor has often been provided with external ventilation, but such a device is relatively expensive and also quite complex in terms of space.
The invention be now aims to create a ventilation of the engine with the simplest possible means, which acts more strongly when the slip increases, so when the engine speed decreases, thereby dissipating the higher heat loss of the rotor accordingly better.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that a fan rotatably mounted on the motor shaft is driven by a fan motor which is designed as a commutatorless alternating current machine and has a smaller number of poles than the main motor, rigidly connected to its rotor. and is fed with Läuferströ men of the main motor. This fan motor can be both a multi-phase and a single-phase machine, e.g.
B. a shaded pole motor. One embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the fan motor carries an independent winding which is fed by the rotor of the main motor. A variant of the invention consists in a partial combination of the windings of the fan motor and the main motor rotor and is particularly advantageous if this has a cage winding.
The fan motor winding, which is fed by the main motor, is then formed by part of a main motor rotor winding. For this purpose, cage bars or winding coils of the main motor rotor can be extended in the axial direction beyond this ver and out through grooves in the laminated core of the fan motor. The laminated core of the fan motor can expediently be carried by the extended winding parts, in particular cage bars, of the main motor rotor.
It can of course also be connected to this runner in some other suitable way. The parts of the main motor rotor windings which penetrate the fan motor are expediently arranged in such a way that they are distributed in the laminated core of the fan motor so that they generate a circular rotating field that is as sinusoidal as possible. This can be achieved in that the conductors of the main motor rotor which penetrate the fan motor are appropriately set in the space between the laminated cores of the main and fan motor.
The ends of the extended cage bars passed through the laminated core of the fan motor are usually connected by a short-circuit ring, while the short-circuit ring for the cage winding of this rotor located on the side of the main motor rotor facing the fan only does not serve to feed the fan motor rods short-circuits and is guided around the extended rods.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a motor in longitudinal section, while Fig. 2 shows, on a reduced scale, a cross section A-A through the short-circuit ring of the six-pole main motor rotor located between the main motor and the fan motor. 3 shows the cross section through the short-circuit ring mentioned for the case of a four-pole main motor rotor.
In Fig. 4, according to a section <I> B -B </I> of Fig. 1 through the laminated core of the fan motor connected to the main motor rotor, the expedient distribution of the elongated cage bars on this package is shown.
1 is the stator of the motor to be ventilated and 2 is the rotor core of its rotor sitting on shaft 3. A fan 4 is rotatably mounted on this shaft by means of a ball bearing 5.
To drive the fan 4, a fan motor is used, which consists of a laminated core 6, which is penetrated and supported by several extended cage bar groups 7 and 7 'lying in opposite pole pitches of the main motor rotor, and from a short arranged in the bore of the stator core 6 final rotor 8, which is attached to an annular extension 9 of the fan hub 10.
The cage bar groups <I> 7a, b, c, d </I> of the main motor rotor and the opposite cage bar groups <I> 7a ', b', c ', d' </I>, through which current flows in the opposite direction are runner via the short-circuit ring 11 of the main motor, which connects only the non-extended bars of this runner with each other on the fan side,
also extended and after twisting in the space between the laminated cores of the main motor and the fan motor in the laminated core 6 of the fan motor arranged distributed as shown in Figure 4.
On the side of the fan motor facing away from the main motor, the extended rotor bars are connected to one another by the short-circuit ring 12 in a übli cher manner. The distribution of the elongated cage bars shown in FIG. 4 over the circumference of the laminated core 6 of the fan motor results in a circular field which is as sinusoidal as possible,
This means a rotating field with little harmonics in terms of location and time with practically constant speed, generated in the fan motor. This rotating field is excited by the flooding of two opposing pole pitches of the main motor rotor, is therefore two-pole and of the same direction of rotation with respect to the rotor as the six-pole rotating field of the main motor.
Its relative speed of rotation corresponds to the feed with the slip frequency of the main motor rotor and the number of poles reduced compared to this.
For example, if the main motor assumed to have six poles, which is connected to a 50 Hz network, i.e. has a synchronous speed of 1000 rpm, has a slip of 33.3% in a certain operating condition, i.e. a rotor speed of 667 rpm. / min, the rotating field generated in the fan motor runs against the laminated core 6, that is to say against the rotor of the main motor, at a speed of
EMI0002.0077
around.
Here f is the slip frequency of the main motor (here equal to 0.333 - 50 Hz), at the same time the feed frequency of the fan motor, and p is the number of pole pairs of the latter. Since the main motor rotor rotates at 667 rpm, the rotating field of the fan motor rotates around the room at a speed of 667 + 1000 = 1667 rpm.
The part of the fan motor driven by this rotating field, and thus also the fan itself, only lag behind the stated speed with the slip that is common with asynchronous drives, which is only a few percent.
If the slip of the main motor is zero, as is more or less the case when idling, the fan motor does not increase the speed, i.e. the fan then runs at the speed of the main motor, i.e. in the present case at around 1000 U. / min. If, however, the main motor is loaded to a standstill, the fan motor is fed with mains frequency (50 Hz),
the speed of the fan is now - reduced by the slip of the fan motor - at 3000 rpm.
According to the above-explained mode of operation of the invention, the main motor experiences greater ventilation the slower it runs, that is, the more it is loaded. The invention is of course not limited to the pole ratio 6: 2 of the main motor to the fan motor in the example, but can also be used in the manner described without further ado in main motors with four, eight or more poles.
3 shows a section in the plane A-A through the fan-side short-circuit ring 11 of the main motor rotor for the case that this is four-pole. By appropriate set the shown in Fig. 4 favorable arrangement of the ver elongated cage bars in the laminated core 6 of the fan motor can be achieved. If the number of poles in the main motor is greater than four, the fan motor can also have a number of poles greater than two.
It can also be arranged in the rotor of the main motor serving to feed the fan motor auxiliary winding. This auxiliary winding can be designed as a preferably multi-phase coil winding or as a cage winding. You can also, at least partially, in special Nu th of the main motor rotor - be housed - preferably in the manner of double cage rotors.
The part of the fan motor connected to the fan can also be designed as a synchronous rotor. If this is done with permanent magnetic excitation, the additional advantage of improving the power factor of the main motor can be achieved. If necessary, the mentioned part of the fan motor can also be designed as a reluctance armature. Finally, combinations of these training forms can also be made with one another and with squirrel cage.
For the. In the event that the rotor voltages or currents of the main motor in no-load operation or with a very low load are too low to generate sufficient torque in the fan motor, in order to avoid the fan running too slowly or stopping in this operating state, the fan must be provided with a mechanical backstop opposite the main motor shaft. This ensures that the fan runs at least at the main engine speed under all circumstances.
