Description
Single-row ball or roller bearing The object of the invention is a single-row ball or roller bearing, the inner and outer race of which is made of plastic, characterized in that of the mutually overlapping races, the outer one consists of two stepped rings that are put together by means of bolts are closed, and the inner one consists of a piece with a cuff that see ver with several outgoing from its free edge blind slots and is intended to be fixed by a clamp on the shaft.
The drawing shows, for example, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. In the drawing: Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section through a shaft protection with ball bearings, Fig. 2 is an axial section through a ball bearing, Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a bearing and Fig. 4 is a view of the bearing with the cap removed.
The bearing according to Fig. 2 to 4 consists of three ring-shaped plastic parts. One of these rings is labeled 10. Its inner surface 11 is connected to the sleeve 15. On its outside, the ring has a groove 12 over half of its width, which forms the inner running surface for the balls 25. On one side of the groove 12 is a recess 13, on the other side an elevation 14. The groove 12 is therefore on a step of the stepped ring 10. The cuff 15 has a number of axially parallel slots 16, which are on the free Start edge 17.
A clamp 18 is connected to the ring 10, which clamps the sleeve 15 together and clamps it onto the shaft 19. The shaft 19 itself does not have any special devices for fastening the ring 10. The ring 10 can therefore easily be pushed onto the shaft of existing machines.
The two other rings 20 and 21 of the bearing together form the outer race 22 of the balls. The two rings 20, 21 are held together along the line 23 by a closure 24. Each of the two rings 20 and 21 is provided with rotations that fit into the graduations of the ring 10. The plastic balls 25 are located between the races. The balls can be lubricated through a borehole 31 with a nipple 32 without the outer race having to be dismantled.
The ring 21 fits on the elevation 14 of the ring 10. It is pushed onto the ring 10 from the opposite end of the cuff 15. Then the balls 25 are inserted, which are thus initially only held by the inner race 10 and one half of the outer race 22. Finally, the second half of the outer race is put on. The two parts 20, 21 of the outer race ring 22 are then connected by the screws 24. In Fig. 1 the bearing is shown in connection with a telescopic disk 28 for the shaft 19. The shaft 19 has universal joints 26 at both ends, from which Wel lenstummel 27 start.
One of these stubs belongs to a prime mover, such as a tractor, the other to a power consumer, such as a trailer. The conical protective cap 29 of the sheath 28 is fastened to the ring 21 of the outer race 22 by means of screws 30. For assembly, the parts of the shafts 19 are initially separated. A part of the equally separate sheath 28 is then pushed onto a part of the shaft 19 from the end. The bearings are then moved on the shaft until they are in contact with the universal joint 26. The clamp 18 is tightened, thereby clamping the bearing onto the shaft 19. The parts of the shaft 19 and the disc 28 are then plugged together at the same time. The assembled shaft is shown in Fig.1.
The chains 33 and 34 each lead to the tractor and the trailer.
