Heat engine, especially steam turbine for high temperatures and pressures The invention relates to heat engines, especially turbines for high temperatures and pressures, in which the working medium or steam is introduced into the machine through a feed pipe attached to the outside of the housing .
An arrangement has already been proposed for such machines in which the steam supply pipe provided with a flange is held within a bore of the housing or a housing by a threaded ring screwed into the enlarged bore and the seal is made by means of a cylindrical, slidable seal in grooves is achieved, which is in the connection plane between the fastening flange and the opposite housing shoulder and is subjected to pressure differences in such a way that the sealing forces between the sealing ring and the grooves on this are achieved.
The invention is based on the consideration that with the above-mentioned, extremely advantageous and easily detachable seal, difficulties can arise under certain circumstances if the temperature of the agent supplied to the machine is so high that the supply pipe must be made of austenitic material and if at the same time the machine housing is made of ferritic material for manufacturing reasons.
In this case, when the connection flange is arranged on the austenitic inlet pipe, the influence of the much greater expansion of the austenitic material is noticeable, where shear forces which are unfavorable on the sealing ring and which may affect the seal can be caused.
According to the invention, in order to avoid these difficulties, the design of heat engines with a pressure medium guide tube fastened by a threaded ring in a bore in the outer machine housing and with a ring seal subject to pressure differences in the contact surface of the fastening flange is made in such a way that it is made of a material with high thermal expansion existing supply pipe is connected to a concentrically arranged flange tube made of ferritic material, wel Ches is guided on its mounting flange in the housing.
In the following the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, which reproduces a section through a steam turbine with the connection of the steam supply pipe.
1 means the outer housing, 2 the Innenge housing of the machine executed according to the double housing design. A steam supply pipe 3 made of austenitic material is provided for supplying steam, which is sealed off from the latter on its lower face by sliding ring seals 4 in grooves in the steam supply pipe or the inner housing. According to the invention, the tube 3 is connected to a ferritic flange tube 5 to enable the connection to the outer housing.
The flange tube 5 is screwed to the austenitic steam supply tube at 6 by a thread. For complete sealing, the tongue 5a of the flange tube is welded to the latter by a weld 7 at the lower end of the steam supply tube. 5b means the fastening flange of the flange tube 5, which rests on the annular shoulder 8 of the housing bore and is pressed against the annular shoulder by the threaded ring 9 screwed into the enlarged bore 10 of the housing connector 11.
The threaded ring 9, like the flange tube 5, consists of ferritic material. On its outer surface 5c, the flange 5b is guided on the bore of the housing connector that is designed with a corresponding fit. In the Berührungsflä surface between the shoulder 8 and the annular flange 5b is in grooves of the two parts of the sealing device receiving cylindrical sealing ring 12 leads ge. With 13 an annular recess in the housing is referred to, which can be connected via a channel 14 to a room of low pressure, for example to the steam suction.
In the figure, 16 is also designated by a locking bolt 17 secured in its position Siche approximately ring. 18 is an outer ring-shaped seal, by means of which the thread zone between the housing connector 11 and the threaded ring 9 is sealed in order to prevent a flow through the thread 10, for example when the line 14 is connected to the steam suction.
The flange tube 5 is advantageously designed in such a way that elastic changes in shape as a result of the different thermal expansions of the steam supply tube and the ferritic flange tube are possible. It is also advisable to keep the contact surfaces between this flange tube and the housing as small as possible in order to make the heat transfer to the housing more difficult. By suitably shaping the flange tube d. H.
By arranging cavities next to large parts of the flange tube, it can also be achieved at the same time that the heat transfer from the connection point with the steam supply pipe to the sealing point is made more difficult and the temperature at the sealing point is kept relatively low due to the temperature gradient.
