Machine for the production of low-noise, heavy-duty gears, in particular for grinding straight and helical spur gears Grinding worms or the like.
The occurrence of running noises and their frequency level on mutually engaged gears depends to a large extent on the upper surface quality of the individual tooth flanks rolling with each other. In a number of the tooth flank grinding processes known so far, depending on the type of grinding tool used, parallel grooves running in the longitudinal direction when machining the tooth flanks. When the tooth flanks are unrolled, the ridges formed by the grooves hit each other, in particular due to the sliding of the tooth flanks, and cause a considerable generation of noise.
The still known Schleifver drive, for example rolling part grinding, avoid such unfavorable scoring due to the crossing effect of the grinding grooves when rolling, but are relatively high in terms of their production costs. Even when scraping gears, the noise is suppressed by the intersecting Schabestruktu on the tooth flanks of gears to be paired with one another, with the production times being very favorable. However, since tooth flanks can only be scraped in the unhardened state, the subsequent hardening, as is necessary with most highly stressed gears, causes a corresponding reduction in quality due to hardening distortion.
The purpose of the present invention is, the Ge noise behavior of the smooth grinding process z. B. to improve with form grinding wheels, grinding worms or derglei chen machined gears, and ge compared to known methods, such as rolling part grinding, cross grinding or the like to achieve a cheaper production of gears.
This is essentially achieved in that by a device acting on the tool and / or workpiece and imparting an additional movement in the axial or circumferential direction within the permissible machining tolerances, at least approximately oblique or helical interruptions over the tooth flanks or continuously running surface structures he testifies.
By means of such a device according to the invention, it is possible to have the surface structures causing considerable noises in the smooth grinding process run obliquely or helically and thus to achieve a crossing effect of the surface structure of tooth flanks to be cooperated when pairing gears. Such an additional movement of the workpiece or tool in the axial direction or direction of rotation can be used to create obliquely directed, wave-shaped surface structures, especially when using form grinding wheels, as well as obliquely or helically over the flanks of grinding structures, in particular when using grinding worms, produce.
The microgeometric shape of the tooth flanks must be precisely executed within certain limits in the smooth grinding process in order to allow the described microgeometric subtleties of the surface structure to take effect. The grinding structures have only a very small depth of, for example, 0.5 'to 1.0. Conveniently, to generate the undulating surface structures running essentially obliquely over the tooth flanks, an alternating movement in addition to the feed movement can be imparted to the workpiece or tool in the axial direction.
Furthermore, the grinding worm can advantageously be conveyed a movement in the direction or approximately in the direction of its axis of rotation as a function of its speed and the speed of the workpiece in order to achieve oblique or helical grinding structures over the flank.
This makes it possible to let the grinding structures, which previously ran horizontally over the flanks, run obliquely in this method, so that the structures cross each other when the flanks work together and thus a significant reduction in noise is brought about.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the machine according to the invention are shown and further details are explained in connection with the following description.

In Fig. 1, 2 designates the machine bed, which is used to support a work table 3 that can be moved back and forth in both directions. The work table carries a drive spindle box 4, which serves to accommodate a part and screwing device, the latter imparting the necessary screwing movement to the workpiece in a known manner for the machining of helical gears. Furthermore, a tailstock 6 is fixedly placed on the work table 3, the receiving point 7 of which, in conjunction with the point 8 of the work spindle 9, serves to receive the clamping mandrel 11 carrying the workpiece 10.
The work spindle 9 carries a nut 12, which comes to rest on a nut 13 fixed on the mandrel 11 and takes it along with the drive.
To reverse the movement of the table to and fro, 3 stops 15 and 16 are attached to the work table and a corresponding reversing switch 17 is attached to the machine bed 2. On the machine bed 2 is on a fixed bed 18 corresponding to the helix angle of the gear to be processed swiveling bench grinder 20 Gela Gert, on whose guides a form grinding disk 21 and its drive motor 22 (Fug. 2) carrying, adjustable support 23 is arranged is.
A drive motor 25 is attached to the work table 3, in such a way that the longitudinal axis of the motor 25 runs transversely to the direction of movement of the work table 3. The motor shaft 26 carries a disk 27 on which a radially adjustable weight 30 acting as an imbalance can be determined. The motor 25 carrying the unbalance is preferably switched on during the last grinding pass and causes an additional movement on the work table 3 in both feed directions, which is expressed in a slight acceleration or deceleration of the feed movement of the table 3.
Such an additional movement, since the grinding wheel 21 grinds rapidly alternating more or less for a long time at one and the same point on the flank, results in undulating surface structures which, in the case of helical gears, are also inclined due to the contact line between the grinding wheel and the tooth flank which runs obliquely over the flank Show course.
In Fig. 2, the same as shown in Fig. 1 gear grinding machine is shown, wherein the United screwing device for editing helical gears ter is shown.
The screwing device consists in a known manner of a roller arch 30 which is in drive connection with the mandrel 11 through the driver device 12, 13 and which is wrapped in the opposite direction by roller belt pairs 31, 32 and 33, 34. The ends of the roller belts are attached on the one hand to the roller arch 30 and on the other hand to a transversely to the direction of movement of the work table 3 adjustable roller conveyor slide 36 in the manner shown. The roller conveyor carriage 36 engages via a guide roller 39 in a guide ruler 41 that can pivot on the machine bed 2.
The guide ruler 41 is pivoted and locked into a position corresponding to the helix angle of the gear wheel to be ground, so that the required screwing movement is imparted to the workpiece 10 via the guide roller 39 and the roll arch 30. The guide surfaces 44 and 45 of the guide ruler 41 have a profile corresponding to the grinding structure to be produced on the tooth flanks, which are formed from grooves or elevations 46 on the guide surfaces directed perpendicular to the direction of movement of the guide roller 39.
If the working carriage 3 moves in one direction or the other, the guide roller 39 slides along the guide surfaces 44 and 45 and, through their profiling, imparts an additional oscillating movement to the workpiece 10 in addition to the screwing movement caused by the inclined position of the ruler 41 a wave-shaped surface structure running obliquely over the tooth flank can be achieved on the tooth flanks.
In Fig. 3 an electric motor or inductor 50 is attached to the gear grinding machine described in Fig. 1 and 2 on the machine driver 12 or on the work spindle 9, the Mo gate shaft 52 via a crank arm 54, 53 and 55 a spindle 56 rotates in alternating directions in a nut 57 fixed on the machine driver 12. The spindle 56 executes a movement transversely to the longitudinal axis of the workpiece and acts on the driver 13 fixed on the mandrel 11. A compression spring 58 acting on the driver 13 causes the driver 13 to rest permanently on the spindle 56.
When the motor is switched on, via the crank arm 53, 54 and 55 and the resulting screwing in and out of the nut 57 in alternating directions and acting on the driver 13, the workpiece 10 is given an oscillating movement in the circumferential direction that is additional to the screwing movement mediated so that wavy structures are created on the flanks during the grinding process.
In Fig. 4, compared to the embodiment according to FIG. 3, a wech selstromgespeiste coil 62 is attached to the machine driver 12, which is connected to a power source via power supply lines, not shown. In the interior of the coil 62 there is arranged a rod 64 acting as an armature, which acts on the driver 13 fixed on the mandrel 11 transversely to the direction of movement of the work table 3 and this or the workpiece 10 against the action of a compression spring 66 arranged on the machine driver 12 an additional, oscillating BEW supply in the circumferential direction, whereby the corrugations already described in Fig. 2 and 3 can be produced on the tooth flanks.
The oscillating movement of the armature 64 can be brought about by suitable short-term power interruption, de ren time intervals, corresponding to the advance of the workpiece, determine the distances between the corrugations on the tooth flanks.
The gear grinding machine shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 operates with a grinding tool formed as a worm. On the designated with 70 designated machine bed a stand 71 is attached, on whose guide tracks 72 a workpiece 73 on receiving support 75 is provided vertically adjustable by a drive device not provided with a corresponding feed gear in both directions. The workpiece 73 is clamped on a mandrel 77, which is clamped between the tips 78 and 79 of a tailstock 76 adjustable on the support 75 or the work spindle 80 and is in drive connection with the work spindle 80 via drivers 82 and 83.
In addition, a slide 85 which can be moved in the direction of the workpiece 73 is mounted on the machine bed 70 and has a stand 87 for receiving the grinding head 88 carrying the grinding worm 86. The grinding worm 86 is mounted on a support 90 which is adjustable in the direction of the grinding worm axis and which can receive a feed movement, for example via a transmission gear branching off from the drive of the grinding worm 86. The drive of the grinding worm 86 takes place from the drive unit of the machine, in the usual way with the mediation of a change gear and a Differentialge gear (not shown).
The drive of the grinding worm 86 can be from the drive shaft 92 via the bevel gear pairs 93, 94; 95, 96; 97, 98, whose Wel len 100, 101 and by means of a shaft 106 and a pair of spur gears 102, 103 on the grinding worm shaft 104 are transmitted. A movement in the direction of the grinding worm axis can be conveyed to the support from the shaft 100 via a spur gear pair 110, 111, the shaft 112, the bevel gear pair 113, 114 and through the threaded spindle 115 with the help of the nut lock 116 connected to the support 90 .
Since the workpiece and the tool rotate independently of one another, if the grinding worm is continuously shifted in the direction of its longitudinal axis, the workpiece must be given an additional rotary movement by attaching appropriate change gears. When grinding without axial movement of the grinding worm, i. H. with radial workpiece feed, it gives the stringing together of the individual touch points in the direction of the teeth, parallel grinding marks.
If the grinding worm is now given a continuous feed movement in the direction of its longitudinal axis during the grinding process, the individual points of contact are slightly offset in the direction of the tooth height and result in grinding grooves running diagonally across the flanks because the grinding wheel has a large number of cutting edges (Grit).
In FIG. 7, 130 denotes a partially illustrated workpiece gear which is in engagement with the grinding worm 131. By shifting the grinding worm 131 in the direction of its axis (arrow direction B) in addition to the preschool movement of the workpiece gear 130 , the point of contact 132 between the gear and the tool flank is shifted from the tooth root to the tooth tip on the workpiece flank, because that too Workpiece gear executes an additional rotary movement corresponding to the displacement movement of the grinding worm 131.
When the grinding worm is displaced by the amount s, as shown in dashed lines, the point of contact has moved to point 132 '. A stringing together of the points of contact by the workpiece feed results in grinding structures on the tooth flanks that run obliquely across the flanks, so that when pairing such machined gears, a crossing effect of the grinding structures can be achieved, by means of which the noise behavior can be improved.
In Fig. 8, a grinding worm is marked with 135 be, in whose profile by means of a profiling roller 136 depressions 137 are rolled, through which the grinding grooves extending over the flank can be formed under interrupted. If a grinding worm profiled in this way is imparted a movement in the direction of its longitudinal axis, then, according to the description of FIG. 7, inclined but interrupted grinding grooves are generated with which, as described in FIG Can achieve grinding structure of converging gears.
