Nocken an.
Centrifugal friction clutch The main patent relates to a centrifugal friction clutch with a sleeve connected to the driving shaft, from which the torque is transmitted to the driven part via a spreading element which participates in the rotation of the sleeve and which comes into frictional engagement with the driven part when the clutch is engaged.
A characteristic of the invention of the main patent is that between the sleeve and the expansion element there is provided an expansion ring which expands under the action of centrifugal force and which is freely rotatable relative to the sleeve.
So that the expanding element designed as an expanding ring rotates together with the driving part or the sleeve, a projection must be provided on which the expanding ring is supported. The entire circumferential force thus acts on this projection or cam. The projection thus represents an unbalanced mass which results in a so-called crank action > , which can lead to dynamic disturbances.
The purpose of the present invention is to be able to avoid this disadvantage, which can occur with a coupling according to the main patent.
The centrifugal friction clutch according to the present invention according to the patent claim of the main patent is now characterized in that the expansion element consists of at least two essentially parallel expansion rings that are supported on a cam of the sleeve, the Cams are set against each other in the circumferential direction.
The invention will then be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, for example, in which: FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a centrifugal friction clutch along section line I-1 in FIG. 2 / B> FIG. 2 shows a cross section through the coupling along the section line 11-II in FIG. 1
The coupling shown has a driving part designed as a sleeve and a driven part 11. The driving and driven part each have an axial bore la or l la, leads into the driving and driven shaft and can be wedged. The driven part 11 has a shoulder which surrounds the driving part 1 , the driving part 1 the friction linings 8a and 8b which can come into engagement with a cylindrical inner surface of the driven part 11 . The driving part 1 has a ring rod 2 in which a ring 3 is located, which consists of a number of subdivided segments.
Between the bottom surface of the annular groove 2 and the divided ring 3 there is a transmission ring 6 which can be rotated relative to the driving part. In the outer surface of the divided ring 3 there is a groove in which a helical spring 5 is arranged, which tries to compress the ring 3 .
In the case of the centrifugal friction clutch shown, two mutually parallel strips 13a and 13b are now provided, which approximately form a circle and carry the friction lining 8a or 8b. The two straps 13a and 13b are supported each on a cam 14a or 14b, which is attached to the driving part by means of screws 15a or 15b or the sleeve 1 are attached. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the cams 14a and 14b are offset from one another by 180o, so that the entire rotating mass is balanced with respect to the axis of rotation.
The bands 13a and 13b, which carry the linings 8a and 8b, respectively, are elastically pretensioned, so that they endeavor in the case of the driving part 1 < / B> to stay. During operation, the driving sleeve 1 is first slowly set in rotation, whereby during this rotation the ring 3 is connected to the sleeve 1 </ B> is slowly driven via the transmission ring 6 , so that the expanding ring 3 is moved radially outward against the action of the spring 5 .
When this comes into contact with the belts 13a and 13b, these are pressed outwards so that the friction linings 8a and 8b with the cylindrical inner surface of the enlarged part of the driven element 11 come into engagement. In this way, a rotary connection between the driving and the driven part is Herge. Since the projections or cams 14a and 14b are arranged at mutually opposite points around the circumference of the sleeve 1, mass compensation is achieved so that a crank effect does not occur can.
Furthermore, through the arrangement shown, the torque transmission from the driving part to the belts 13a and 13b with the friction linings 8a and 8b is improved, as compared to the centrifugal force shown in the main patent specification - Friction clutch two torque transmission elements are provided.
