In der Zeichnung sind als Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes zwei beispielsweise Aus führungsformen einer Anlage zur Herstellung von Heizkörpern und Einzelteile des mit dieser Anlage hergestellten Heizkörpers dargestellt. Es zeigen Fig. 1 eine Halbschale eines Heizkörperelementes im Grundriss ; Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie II-II in Fig. 1 in grösserem Masstab ; Fig. 3 ein aus zwei Halbschalen nach Fig. 1 und 2 zusammengeschweisstes Heizkörperelement im Grundriss ;
Plant for the production of hollow bodies The invention relates to a plant for the produc- tion of hollow bodies with a press for pressing half-shells, multi-point and seam welding machines for stitching the half-shells together in pairs and for seam-welding on the edge of the half-shells that are to be stitched together.
The system according to the invention is characterized by the fact that the press is assigned at least one multi-point welding machine and the multi-point welding machine is assigned a number of seam welding machines which is at least equal to the ratio of the operation time of the seam welding to the operation time of the point welding, and that on the same Automatic loading points of the seam welding machines that are spaced apart from one another are guided past by an endless conveyor chain from the multipoint welding machine,
each of which has pin pairs serving to accommodate a spot-welded half-shell pair, with each of h consecutive pin pairs of the conveyor chain being assigned to one of the n seam welding machines as a carrier for the spot-welded half-shell pairs, and the operation of each seam welding machine and its loading device by a control device controlling the system by at least The nth part of the time assigned to this operation is controlled with a delay compared to the previous seam welding machine that is in operation,
wherein the control device can be influenced in such a way that optionally at least one of the seam welding machines is not loaded.
Since several seam welding machines are assigned to a multipoint welding machine in this system, a continuous workflow can be achieved in which each machine works non-stop, although the operating time per half-shell pair is greater for seam welding than for spot welding.
The system is capable of production even if one or some of the seam welding machines fail because the control device can be influenced in such a way that the relevant seam welding machine or machines are not loaded by the feed devices and conveyors.
In the drawing, as an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, two exemplary embodiments of a system for producing radiators and individual parts of the radiator produced with this system are shown. 1 shows a half-shell of a heating element in plan; FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1 on a larger scale; FIG. 3 shows a heater element welded together from two half-shells according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in plan;
FIG. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 3 on a larger scale; FIG. Fig. 5 is a schematic representation of a plant for the production of radiators, the elements of ele according to Figures 3 and 4; FIG. 6 shows a variant of FIG. 5.
The half-shell according to FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a stamped, rectangular piece of sheet steel with rounded corners and two holes (flow openings) a, which has obtained the profile shown by pressing. Two of these half-shells are put together to form a heating element according to FIGS. 3 and 4, spot-welded in the middle part and seam-welded on the circumference.
The weld points are denoted by b, the weld seam shown in dashed lines is denoted by c. A number of elements according to FIGS. 3 and 4 are put together to form a radiator and welded on the circumference of adjacent holes a.
The system according to FIG. 5 has a twin press 1 to which the punched steel sheets are fed in the direction of the arrows 11. The twin press 1 presses two half-shells of the type shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 per work cycle. These half-shells are fed by conveying means 21 to a multipoint welding machine 2, which combines two half-shells per work cycle through the weld points b to form a half-shell pair.
An endless conveyor chain 3 connects to the multi-point welding machine 2, of which only the strand leading away from the multi-point welding machine 2 is shown. This conveyor chain 3 leads past the loading points of three seam welding machines 41, 411, 4111 to a magazine 5.
Each of the seam welding machines has a guide device (not shown) by means of which the point-welded half-shell pair supplied to it is passed through between the electrode rollers to produce the circumferential seam c. From the seam welding machines 41, 411, 41I, conveyors 46 lead to a work station 6 at which a predetermined number of heating element elements are gradually joined together and welded at the edge of neighboring holes a so that they form a heating element.
The loading and unloading points of the individual units are not shown in FIG. A control device 7 with dash-dotted control lines controls the entire system in such a way that two half-shells are pressed in the press 1 per work cycle and two half-shells are combined by the multipoint welding machine 2 to form a half-shell pair, and that a circumferential seam c is welded during three work cycles is, the seam welding machine 411 beitstakt by an Ar and the seam welding machine 41,
1 works delayed by two work cycles compared to the seam welding machine 41. The conveyor chain 3 has pairs of pins 31 and each work cycle proceeds by a distance which corresponds to the distance between two adjacent pin pairs 31 be.
The pins of each pin pair 31 fit into the two holes a of a half-shell pair and serve as a carrier for one. The distance between adjacent pairs of pins of the chain 3 is equal to the third part of the spacing of the loading points of adjacent seam welding machines. Each of three successive pin pairs of the conveyor chain 3 is assigned as a half-shell pair carrier to one of the seam welding machines.
In FIG. 5, the pin pairs assigned to the seam welding machine 41 are designated by I, the pin pairs assigned to the seam welding machine 411 by I1 and the pin pairs assigned to the seam welding machine 41 ″ by III.
In the position of the conveyor chain 3 shown in FIG. 5, one of the pin pairs I is at the loading point of the conveyor chain 3 (on the multipoint welding machine 2) and another of the pin pairs I with a half-shell pair 8 in front of the loading point of the seam welding machine 41.
In this stel ment of the conveyor chain 3, the first-mentioned pin pair I is loaded with a pair of half shells and the pair of half shells 8 of the seam welding machine 41 to be provided with the weld c in this seam welding machine during the next three work cycles.
During the first of these three Ar beitstakte one of the pin pairs II comes to the loading point of the conveyor chain 3 and one of the pin pairs 1I with the half-shell pair 9 in front of the loading point of the seam welding machine 411, and the first-mentioned pin pair II is loaded with a half-shell pair and that Half-shell pair 9 are fed to the seam welding machine 411 in order to be provided with the welding seam c.
In the next step of the conveyor chain 3, one of the Zap fenpaare III is loaded at the loading point of the conveyor chain and the half-shell pair 10 is fed to the seam welding mascliine 4111 to be seam-welded in this. After the next step of the chain, the seam welding process of the machine 41 is ended, and the load ratios of the chain 3 with half-shell pairs shown in FIG. 5 are restored.
The machine 41 delivers the seam-welded radiator element (which emerged from the half-shell pair 8) to the work station 6 and receives from the conveyor chain 3 a new half-shell pair for seam welding, which has meanwhile been prepared by the press 1 and spot welding machine 2 the process just described is repeated.
The pair of half-shells 11 then pass one after the other to the machine 411 and the pair of half-shells 12 to the machine 41, j. In this way, the work station 6 receives a heating element for each work cycle, namely in a repeated order from the machines 41, 411, 4111. If one of the seam welding machines 41, 4I1, 411 fails, the control device 7 is influenced in such a way that
that this seam welding machine is no longer loaded. The pairs of half-shells conveyed by the pin pairs assigned to this machine then fall into the magazine 5. In addition, the correspondingly influenced control device 7 then causes the workstation 6 to eject a heater after a number of work cycles increased by 1! S, so that the Radiators despite the failure if one of the seam welding machines have the same number of elements.
In this way, the system continues to work even if one seam welding machine fails (and accordingly also if two seam welding machines fail). It is therefore not necessary to shut down the entire system if one or two seam welding machines fail until they are ready for operation. Instead, the system then works with a correspondingly reduced output.
In order to avoid that in the event of failure of one or two of the seam welding machines 41, 411, 4111 a larger number of half-shell pairs are produced and not further processed (namely collected in the magazine 5), the control device 7 can be influenced in such a way that the conveyor chain 3 advances by twice the distance between adjacent pairs of pins 31,
after a pin pair has been loaded at its La destelle on the multipoint welding machine 2, which is followed by a pin pair that is assigned to a seam welding machine that has been put out of operation.
In this way, the pairs of pegs assigned to the seam welding machine in question are no longer loaded, and only the half-shell pairs which, at the time of the specified influencing of the control device, are already ready for the seam welding with the machine in question, get into the magazine 5 the part of the conveyor chain 3 located between this and the multipoint welding machine 2.
If, for example, the machine 41 has failed, the conveyor chain 3 advances during a cycle after loading a pin pair I by twice the distance between adjacent pin pairs, whereupon a pin pair III is loaded. Thereupon the conveyor chain 3 advances by the simple distance between adjacent pairs of pins, so that then a pair of pins I will be loaded again.
In this way, the pin pairs II assigned to the machine 411 are no longer loaded, and only the half-shell pairs that are already being welded with the machine 411 on the between them at the time of the specified influencing of the control device 7 then get into the magazine 5 Machine and the Ma machine 2 located part of the conveyor chain 3 befan the. The control device 7 must also extend the cycle time for the press 1, the multi-point welding machine 2, the conveyor chain 3 and the work station 6 in such a way that, for example,
B. If a seam welding machine fails, two (instead of three) cycles fall on a seam weld on a pair of half shells and on the welding of a radiator element to another radiator element at the work station 6.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, a Ma magazine 43 is arranged at the material input of each seam welding machine, which takes up the pairs of half-shells that are located between this and the multipoint welding machine 2 on the conveyor chain 3 when the seam welding machine in question is shut down. This has the advantage that the seam welding machine in question, as soon as it is operational again, is first supplied from its magazine and then from the conveyor chain.
It is therefore not necessary to remove the half-shell pairs accumulated in the magazine 5 in the embodiment according to FIG. 5 and to feed them to a seam welding machine by hand. The conveyor chain 3 can lead past a further seam welding machine (not shown) which is controlled by the control device 7 in such a way that it takes over its work if one of the seam welding machines 41, 4, 1, 411 fails.
