Door lock, especially for cold rooms Known door locks for cold rooms have the disadvantage that the door can only be closed by slamming the door leaf vigorously, since the closing element can only be pushed back from its closed position by the closing nose of the door leaf by the force of the latter then fall back into the closed position behind the locking nose.
In contrast, the door lock according to the invention differs in that the locking member is designed as a two-armed lever mounted at least approximately on the outermost circle of motion of the locking nose of the door leaf in the lock case, one arm of which is intended to interact with a closing curve of the locking nose and the other arm with a two-armed pawl that locks the closing lever in the open position cooperates, one arm of which is intended to cooperate with the last-mentioned arm of the closing lever,
and the other arm of which protrudes into the path of movement of the locking lug and can be displaced by the locking lug into the release position when it passes.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: Fig. 1 is a view of the door lock, Fig. 2 is a horizontal section through the lock when the refrigerator door is closed and Fig. 3 is a horizontal section through the lock when the refrigerator door is partially open .
A locking element 2 is attached to the frame R of the door opening in the lock case 1 and a locking lug 3 cooperating with the locking element 2 is attached to the door leaf T by means of a holder 4. The closing member 2, which is a two-armed lever, forms a bearing fork which carries a pressure roller 5 at the leg ends of one arm 2a, while the legs of the other arm are connected to one another by a connecting web 6. The La gergabel is mounted on the side of the connecting web 6 on an axis 7 in the lock case 1. The position of the axis 7 is chosen so that it lies at least approximately on the outermost movement circle K of the closing nose 3.
A torsion spring 8 is mounted on the axis 7 of the closing element 2 and tries to pivot the closing element 2 against the closing lug 3. The pressure roller 5 interacts with an approach curve 9 and a closing curve 10 of the closing nose 3. When the door slams the closing member 2, if it is in the pivoted position (Fig. 2) be, pivoted back by the action of the overrun curve 9 on the pressure roller 5, so that the closing nose 3, the pressure roller 5 can pass.
Immediately before reaching the closed position of the door, the pressure roller 5 runs onto the closing curve 10 and exerts a correspondingly high closing pressure on the door leaf T due to the only small angle between the direction of movement of the pressure roller 5 and the closing curve 10.
In order to switch off the resistance, which up to now could only be overcome by striking the door vigorously, while the pressure roller 5 had to be pushed back from the overrun curve 9, a two-armed pawl 11 is provided in the lock case 1 in the present embodiment. This pawl can be pivoted about an axis 12 and has a locking arm 13 and a release arm 14. The locking arm 13 cooperates with the web 6 of the locking lever 2 and the release arm 14 with the locking nose 3.
A torsion spring 15 mounted on the axis 12 seeks to push the pawl 11 into its locking position ersicht from FIG. 3. When the door is opened by means of a known press-off lever mounted on the door, the closing cam 10 acting on the pressure roller 5 pushes the closing element 2 back into its open position, the pawl 11 at the same time falling into its blocking position (FIG. 3) and thereby closing lever 2 locked in its open position (Fig. 3).
As a result, when the door is closed, it is not necessary to hit the same, but rather that when the door leaf is slowly closed, without any special effort, the locking lug 3 touches the pressure roller 5 and immediately afterwards hits the release arm 14 of the pawl 11 and swiveled it clockwise. When the pawl 11 is pivoted further by the locking nose 3, immediately before the door leaf reaches the closed position, ie. H.
When the door seal D hits the frame R, the locking of the locking lever 2 is lifted in that the arm 13 of the locking pawl 11 slides off the connecting web 6 of the locking lever 2, the pressure roller 5 sitting on the locking lever 2 falling over the locking nose and against the locking cam 10 pressing, presses the door leaf into the closed position with great pressure, which ensures a good seal.
In order to avoid any impact when the locking lug 3 hits the pressure roller 5, the locking lug 3 is adjustable in its distance from the lock case; it should be set so that it only touches the pressure roller 5 lightly, i. H. only a very slight pivoting of the locking lever 2 acts. To enable such an adjustment, the locking nose goes into a slide 3a, which is displaceably superimposed in a guide 17 of the holder 4.
To adjust the locking nose 3 or the slide 3a is used an adjusting screw 16, which is mounted with its head secured against axial movement and engages with its threaded part in a threaded hole 18 of the slide 3R. By turning the adjusting screw 16 by means of a key that can be inserted through an opening 19 of the holder 4, the locking nose 3 can be set in its most advantageous position relative to the pressure roller 5, in which position the pressure roller 5 is pushed back by a maximum of 1 to 2 mm.
