Description
Road crash barrier The present invention relates to a road crash barrier made of light metal, in particular made of aluminum alloy.
Road crash barriers made of light metal offer the advantage over those made of steel of greater elastic deformation with approximately the same yield strength, so that they absorb greater internal deformation work. With the same geometrical shape, a road guardrail made of the tempered, trademarked alloy Anticorodal (type AlMgSi), for example, can absorb three times greater destructive energy in the event of a shock than a road guardrail made of steel before plastic deformation occurs.
In addition, there are the other well-known advantages of the light metal: low weight, corrosion resistance, lower maintenance, etc.
The light metal road plank according to the invention consists of an extruded profile and is characterized by two transversely curved, longitudinal flaps which are pressed against one another and thus form a groove for receiving fastening means. Thanks to this training, the fasteners on the plank are longitudinally displaceable and therefore facilitate installation on the support post or on walls or walls, since an exact match of the fastening points on the support posts, etc. with those on the guardrail is not required.
The result is accelerated assembly, which justifies the higher acquisition costs of the material in the context of the total expense, maintenance inbe.
Fig. 1 shows in cross section a Ausführungsbei, game of the road crash barrier according to the invention made of light metal. It has two channel-shaped parts 1, which are directed against the roadway and are made thicker at the points 2 that receive the shock first. The edges 3 are also reinforced for stiffening. The transversely curved, pressed-on tabs are denoted by 4 and form a groove 5 with the central part of the plank. The total width of the guardrail shown here is 310 mm.
In the middle recess between the two parts 1, light-reflecting strips or lighting fixtures, expediently in the form of fluorescent tubes, can be attached.
FIG. 2 illustrates in cross section an exemplary embodiment of the road safety barrier according to the invention with built-in fluorescent tubes 6. In the pressed, z. B. filled with foam waterproof grooves 7, a transparent disc 8 is a set.
Instead of pressed-on grooves 7, specially shaped profile bars 9 can be riveted or screwed to hold the transparent disc 8 in place, as shown in FIG.
The optionally co-pressed rib 10 serves as a drip nose.
4 shows another embodiment of the road crash barrier with built-in fluorescent tubes 6. The pressed-on grooves 11 and 12 are offset from one another in such a way that the transparent pane 8 assumes an inclined position.
Fig. 5 shows a road guardrail in which the fluorescent tubes 6 are not housed in the central recess, but in the correspondingly formed bead coming to lie on top.
The weather-resistant, trademarked anticorodal alloy in the hardened state is particularly suitable as a material for the road guardrail.
