So z.
Fig. 2 eine schematische Darstellung der Gasent- staubungsanlage.
Gas dedusting system The present invention relates to a gas dedusting system using several cyclones.
Such cyclones used for gas dedusting are known. The gaseous medium to be cleaned is introduced tangentially at high speed into a chamber which has a cylindrical shape at the top and is closed off at the bottom by a truncated cone. The so-called immersion tube is built into the cylindrical part, which allows gas to be vented. The dust particles in the gas - up to about 15 [. - are deposited on the outer wall due to the centrifugal force.
It is known that the degree of dedusting - assuming the same gas state, the same dust load, the same dust grain size and the same pressure loss - is considerably better with many small cyclo-clones than with a single cyclone. So-called multicyclones are used when there are high demands on the degree of purity of the outflowing medium (gas or air).
The main gas flow is divided into parallel flows and each of them is fed individually to a small cyclone.
In addition to cyclones, electrostatic precipitators are also known for gas dedusting. In industry, however, many areas of the use of electrostatic precipitators are forbidden. So z. B. in mills, then in spray dryers or in solvent recovery systems, etc.
The use of the electrostatic precipitator would lead to explosions or fires. You can help yourself here with fabric filters. These are large in size and therefore expensive, and their service life is relatively short.
The purpose of the invention is now to relieve the expensive fabric filters. These can then be made much smaller or their service life is greatly increased.
The present invention is characterized in that at least two suction pipes arranged one behind the other, with their collecting surfaces only covering part of the cross section of the gas pipe, are provided in a gas line pipe, to each of which a cyclone is connected, the cleaned one emerging from the cyclones Gas is reintroduced into the gas pipe via blower means in the direction of flow behind the suction points from.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying diagrammatic drawings, for example. 1 shows a diagram of the dust accumulation (in%) in the extracted gas as a function of the speed (AW) of the gas flow.
2 shows a schematic representation of the gas dedusting system.
Experiments have shown that a parallel flow can have much higher dust concentrations than the main gas flow if one works with high suction speeds.
The main flow has the mean speed w1 and the dust concentration -e1. In the suction opening of the partial flow, the speed w2 prevails, which is several times greater than the speed w,. The dust concentration SZ (mg / mg) is then considerably higher than 0l. Fig. 1 shows this effect in an approximate order of magnitude. Physically, this phenomenon is related to the momentum rate.
In the medium to be cleaned (gas or air) .leitenden line 1 are coaxially arranged one behind the other from suction pipes 2 and 3, which are connected to the cyclones 6 and 7 via the lines 4 and 5. The suction pipes 2 and 3 are open at the bottom in the example, i. H. opposite to the flow direction of the gas in the line 1 and capture only part of the cross section of the line 1. The lines 8 and 9 of the cyclones 6 and 7 open into a common pipe 10, which is via a fan 11 with a after the suction pipes 2 and 3 funnel 12 mounted in the conduit.
The funnel 12 is directed in the opposite direction as the suction pipes 2 and 3 from.
The operation of the system is as follows: The raw gas, which is laden with dust in the lower part of the line, is collected in two partial flows by the suction pipes 2 and 3 and fed to the cyclones 6 and 7. There it is cleaned in a known manner, the dust collecting in containers 13 and 14 at the lower end of the cyclones. The cleaned gas leaves the cyclones through lines 8 and 9 and is conveyed back into the line 1 through the common line 10 and the funnel 12 by means of the fan 11.
As already mentioned, it has surprisingly been shown that although the inlet surfaces of the tubes 2 and 3 only make up part of the cross section of the line 1, only a small part of the dust is not captured by the suction tubes 2 and 3 and cleaned and escapes from the line if the suction speed is chosen sufficiently. Of course, more than two cyclones can also be used, which means that the dust load of the escaping gas can be kept as small as desired.
