End strip The present invention relates to a front strip for covering the front door edges and folds on elevator shaft doors.
In elevator construction, it is common to provide the front edges and rebates of the shaft doors with a front strip made of light metal, plastic or other suitable materials. Such a front bar serves to cover the mostly unsightly door rebates caused by the door construction and as protection for the door edges, which are known to be subject to greater wear than the other visible door parts. Such a forehead should be easily replaceable in the event of damage. Since it is in a clearly visible place, it must also meet aesthetic requirements.
It is known to form such end strips from such that they are attached to the shaft door with screws distributed over their entire length. The screws are therefore visible, which is unaesthetic. Furthermore, these can resolve themselves or be resolved willfully.
On the other hand, end strips are also often welded, riveted or glued onto the shaft doors. If such an attached end strip is to be replaced, a number of difficulties arise.
The purpose of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned. The end strip according to the invention is easily exchangeable and can be attached to the end face of the elevator shaft door without a screw connection.
The proposed end strip for covering the front edges and rebates on elevator shaft doors is characterized in that its profile has at least in places clip-like formations, by means of which the end strip clings to the door parts to be covered by elastic deformation when pushed onto the door parts.
On the accompanying drawing, two Ausfüh approximately examples of the subject invention are shown in outline, namely Fig. 1 shows an end strip on a double door and Fig. 2 is a front strip on a single-wing door, the end strip is designed at the same time to mount an impact rubber profile.
According to the first embodiment, an only partially drawn door leaf 1 of a double-leaf door is shown in FIG. 1, which has a sheet metal wall 1.1 on the access side and a sheet metal wall 1.2 on the shaft side. The two sheet metal walls 1.1, 1.2 have on the front of the door at right angles lig to the inside of the door bent end pieces 1.3 and 1.4. 1.5 denotes a U-shaped web plate to which the two sheet metal walls 1.1, 1.2 are welded. To cover the front door edges, a front strip 2 is provided which is pushed over the bent end pieces 1.3, 1.4.
The front strip 2 has a profile that remains constant over the entire door height and consists of a cover strip 2.1, two ribs 2.2, 2.3 and two clamping strips 2.4, 2.5. The dimensions of the end strip profile are chosen so that when it is pushed onto the end pieces 1.3, 1.4, the clamping strips 2.4, 2.5 are elastically bent through. As a result of the resulting spring effect, the front strip clings to the end pieces 1.3, 1.4 by means of the ribs 2.2, 2.3 and the clamping strips 2.4, 2.5. At the same time, the cover strip 2.1 exerts a clamping effect on the sheet metal walls 1.1, 1.2 with its two profile ends.
A second embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in FIG. The access-side and the shaft-side sheet metal wall of a single wing door 3, which is only partially drawn, is denoted by 3.1 and 3.2. With 4 the door post is indicated. The two sheet metal walls 3.1, 3.2 form a door rebate 3.3 on the front side of the door, which is covered by a front strip 5. This is pushed over the door rebate 3.3. The profile of the forehead strip 5 is in the form of a bracket and is dimensioned so that it is stretched somewhat when it is pushed onto the door rebate 3.3, so that it is stuck on the door rebate 3.3 due to the spring action occurring.
According to the preferred embodiment shown, the profile of the end strip 5 has a dovetail-shaped groove for receiving a rubber stop profile 6.
The end strip described can not only be used on double and single-wing doors, but it is also possible to use the end strip for horizontal or vertical sliding doors.
