Shaft coupling It is known to switch between a sliding armature motor and the gear assigned to it a flexible coupling in the axial direction when the gears are helically toothed and the pinion driven by the motor is therefore not allowed to take part in the axial displacement of the motor rotor. Claw and multi-groove clutches have proven to be unsuitable in this case, since their not inconsiderable friction must also be overcome by the magnetic axial pull of the motor on the one hand and by the brake spring force on the other.
The aim is therefore to use hitch lungs in this case that oppose an axial displacement of the motor shaft as little resistance as possible.
Now, however, the requirement is often that such a coupling should also be able to compensate for minor axis deviations and / or angular misalignments. To reduce the torsional shock, a torsional elasticity of the coupling is also desirable.
The invention relates to a coupling in which these requirements can be met to a high degree.
It is based on a shaft coupling between two shafts, one of which is axially displaceable, in which the torque is transmitted from the driving to the driven part by a body made of a non-metallic material that is flexible in the axial direction and in the direction of rotation, and is characterized by this that the resilient body is divided into slightly flexible, unstrained lamellae.
The connection of this body with the driving and the driven shaft is done, for example, by bolts that engage in the disk-shaped body. Because the flexible body is subdivided into several lamellae, it is possible to considerably reduce the internal friction that would counteract the bending forces acting on a correspondingly thick one-piece body.
The lamellae can be separated from one another by air spaces at least in the areas adjacent to the coupling axis. In this way, contact of the lamellae in the bend is avoided and thus friction of the lamellae against one another, which would favor wear and counteract the flexibility of the clutch.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown in front view and in side section.
The two coupling halves are denoted by 1 and 2, the subdivided into annular disks with 3 and 4 and the annular disk enclosed by these with 5. This annular disk carries three bolts 6, which penetrate the bodies 3 and 4 and with play in the coupling parts 1 and 2 intervene. In the area of this bolt is between the bodies 3, 4 on the one hand and the hitch be parts 1, 2 on the other hand, an air gap is available. Further bolts 7, 8, which are carried by the coupling parts 1 and 2, each only penetrate the body 3 and 4 adjacent to them.
With such a coupling of two shafts, one of which is axially displaceable, the distance between the two coupling parts can change without major resistance, in addition, the air gap between the bodies 3, 4 and the coupling parts in the areas of the bolts 6 and the distance between the Bolts 7 and 8 from each other a Winkelver translation of the shafts. If the axis is offset, the distances between the bolts 7 and 8 from the bolt 6 become unequal. The ring disks bulge where this distance is smaller.
The object of the invention is not only advantageous in connection with a sliding armature motor, but wherever the requirements mentioned above are made.
