  Verpackung für eine Rolle streifenförmigen Materials
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Verpakkung für eine Rolle aus streifenförmigem Material, das auf einen hohlen Kern gewickelt ist, z. B. eine Rolle von mittels Druck klebbarem Kebeband.



   Um eine Verpackung für solche Rollen zu schaffen, wurden bisher Schachteln hergestellt, bei denen ein hängender Teil der Schachtel mit dem inneren Teil des Kernes so in Eingriff gelangt, dass die Rolle von den Seitenwänden der Schachtel in Abstand gehalten wird. Bei Schachteln, die durch Falten eines einzigen flächenförmigen Materialstückes hergestellt werden, wurde dieser hängende Teil dadurch gebildet, dass ein oder mehrere Stücke des flächenförmigen Materials so nach innen gefaltet wurden, dass sie eine Haltenabe bildeten. Doch hat es sich gezeigt, dass solche Schachteln nicht gut auch für breite Rollen, d. h. Rollen mit einer Dicke von mehr als einem Zoll (25,4 mm), verwendet werden können.



   Es ist das Ziel der vorliegenden Erfindung, eine Schachtel zu schaffen, die in befriedigender Weise als Verpackung für breite Rollen verwendet werden kann.



   Das wird nach der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, dass eine Nabe in Form eines Bügels vorgesehen ist, der sich vom Deckel der Schachtel abwärts erstreckt.



  Eine Zunge, die auf dem Deckel der Schachtel aufliegt, besitzt einen gefalteten Teil, der sich durch eine Öffnung im Deckel nach unten erstreckt, um den Bügel zu bilden.



   Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der beigefügten Zeichnung veranschaulicht und nachfolgend beschrieben. Es zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht einer Schachtel mit einer eingesetzten   Kleberolle;   
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt längs der Linie 2-2 in Fig. 1;
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt längs der Linie 3-3 in Fig. 1 und
Fig. 4 einen Grundriss des flächenförmigen Materialstückes, aus dem die Schachtel der Fig. 1 hergestellt wurde.



   Die hier gezeigte Schachtel besteht aus einem Deckel 2, einem Boden 3, zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Seitenwänden 4 und 5 einem Klappstück 6, das auf dem Deckel liegt, und einer Zunge 7.



  Diese Zunge 7 besitzt einen gefalteten Teil, der sich durch die Öffnung 8 in der Mitte des Deckels 2 abwärts erstreckt und eine bügelartige Halteeinrichtung bildet, durch die eine Bandrolle 9 auf einem Kern 10 in ihrer Stellung in der Schachtel gehalten wird.



   Die Zunge 7 besteht aus einem Klappstück 13, zwei an den Kern anliegenden, einander gegenüber angeordneten Stücken 11 und   lla    und einem Verbindungsstück 12 zwischen den beiden Stücken 11 und   lla.    Wie Fig. 4 zeigt, ist das Verbindungsstück 12 mit zwei Ansatzstücken 14 versehen, die jedoch nicht wesentlich sind.



   Wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist, liegen die Stücke 11 und lla in der fertigen Verpackung senkrecht und formen so einen Bügel, der gegen die Innenfläche des Kernes 10 anliegt und die Rolle 9 in ihrer Lage in der Mitte der Schachtel hält, so dass der Umfang der Rolle von den Rändern des Deckels 2 und des Bodens 3 sowie von den Seitenwänden 4 und 5 in Abstand liegt. Dadurch ist das auf den Kern 10 gewikkelte Band gegen Verformen geschützt.



   Das Klappstück 13 ist gegen die Oberfläche des Deckels gelegt und befestigt, z. B. durch Kleben.



   Die Ansätze 14 an dem Verbindungsstück 12, das in der fertigen Verpackung waagrecht liegt, lie  gen gegen die Innenfläche des Kernes 10 und tragen so dazu bei, die Zunge 7 in der richtigen Lage in der Öffnung des Kernes 10 zu halten.   



  
 



  Packaging for a roll of strip material
The present invention relates to a package for a roll of strip material wound on a hollow core, e.g. B. a roll of adhesive tape that can be stuck by pressure.



   In order to provide a package for such rolls, boxes have heretofore been made in which a hanging portion of the box engages the inner part of the core so that the roll is spaced from the side walls of the box. In boxes made by folding a single sheet of material, this hanging portion has been formed by folding one or more pieces of the sheet inward to form a retaining hub. However, it has been found that such boxes are not good for wide rolls, i.e. H. Rolls greater than one inch (25.4 mm) thick can be used.



   It is the object of the present invention to provide a box which can be satisfactorily used as a package for wide rolls.



   This is achieved according to the invention in that a hub is provided in the form of a bracket which extends downwards from the lid of the box.



  A tongue which rests on the lid of the box has a folded portion which extends down through an opening in the lid to form the bracket.



   An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing and described below. Show it:

   The box shown here consists of a lid 2, a bottom 3, two opposing side walls 4 and 5, a flap piece 6 that lies on the lid, and a tongue 7.



  This tongue 7 has a folded portion which extends downwardly through the opening 8 in the center of the lid 2 and forms a bow-like holding device by which a roll of tape 9 is held in place on a core 10 in the box.



   The tongue 7 consists of a hinged piece 13, two pieces 11 and 11a, which rest against the core and are arranged opposite one another, and a connecting piece 12 between the two pieces 11 and 11a. As shown in Fig. 4, the connecting piece 12 is provided with two extensions 14, which are not essential, however.



   As shown in Fig. 2, the pieces 11 and 11a lie vertically in the finished package and thus form a bracket which rests against the inner surface of the core 10 and holds the roller 9 in its position in the center of the box, so that the The scope of the role from the edges of the cover 2 and the bottom 3 and from the side walls 4 and 5 is at a distance. As a result, the tape wound onto the core 10 is protected against deformation.



   The flap 13 is placed against the surface of the lid and fastened, e.g. B. by gluing.



   The lugs 14 on the connecting piece 12, which lies horizontally in the finished package, lie against the inner surface of the core 10 and thus help to keep the tongue 7 in the correct position in the opening of the core 10.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM Package for a roll of strip material wound on a hollow core, the package having a lid and means for holding the roll, characterized in that the means for holding the roll are in the form of a tongue which rests on the lid and a folded portion extending downward through an opening in the center of the lid, the folded portion having two opposing vertical pieces, the lower ends of which are interconnected by a horizontal piece and which form a bracket which rests against the inner surface of the core.
