Device for heating press plates, in particular on mat presses The present invention relates to a device for heating press plates, in particular on mat presses, and is characterized by an oil circulation system with a flow heater and a connecting line to at least one press plate with a circulation pump.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. The drawing shows a device for heating press plates in a schematic representation.
Only the upper press plate 11 and the lower press plate 12 of a matern press are shown, which are connected to an oil circulation system for heating. The oil circulation system has two branches, namely a branch 13, 15 with a water heater 14 and a branch 16, 18 with a cooler 17. The lines 13, 16 of the two branches are connected together in a T-piece 19, from which a connecting line 20 leads to the plates 11, 12.
The two lines 15, 18 are joined together in a three-way valve 21, from which a connecting line 22 leads to the other end of the plates 11, 12. A circulation pump 23, which is driven by a motor 24, is installed in the connection line 22. The sense of rotation of the circulation pump is selected so that the line 20 is the inflow line and the line 22 is the return line. The direction of rotation can also be reversed. The T-piece 19 and the three-way valve 21 can also be interchanged.
The water heater 14 is electrically heated and is provided for connection to the electrical distribution network 25. The current is switched on and off by means of a built-in thermostat 26, whereby the oil is heated to a predetermined temperature. A contact thermometer 27 protects against overheating. The cooler 17 is a water cooler that is connected to the domestic water pipe 28. The plates 11, 12 to be heated are connected in parallel to the oil circulation system, with a shut-off valve 29 being provided in the supply line to the upper plate 11.
There is an expansion vessel 30 is provided with a supply line 31 to the line 22 and a supply 32 with a filling valve 33 for Durchlauferhit zer. A funnel 34 for filling fuel oil is also connected to line 22.
The three-way valve 21 allows, depending on its position, to supply hot or cold oil to the plates 11, 12 in order to heat the plates 11, 12 for each pressing pressure and to cool at least the lower plate 12 for the batch change. Since the upper plate 11 generally has greater heat radiation than the lower plate, it requires a regulating device. For this purpose, a Regu lierventil 29 is provided. As a result, the temperatures of the two plates 11, 12 can be set precisely. To control the plate temperature, each plate is provided with a thermometer 35 or 36.
The use of an electric instantaneous water heater with thermostat control allows heating to an exact oil temperature. The thermostat control can also be done depending on the plate temperature, if z. B. a temperature sensor with switching contact is provided on the upper plate.
If the plates 11 and 12 are to be heated completely independently of one another to different temperatures and cooled independently of one another, two circulation systems can be provided. Each plate can then be individually connected to one of these circulation systems.
