Mehrspulen-Aufwickelvorrichtung

Fig.
Multi-spool take-up device
The present invention relates to a multi-bobbin winder for yarns and the like of continuous filament material (hereinafter referred to as yarn). The term coil refers to Kötzer and flange coils and the like which have rotatable spindles or cores with or without end retaining flanges.
The device has a number of coils, the axes of rotation of which extend in the same direction substantially parallel or coaxial with one another, further means for rotating the coils simultaneously about their axes, an element extending over all the coils, which extends in the direction of said axes is reciprocable and carries a yarn guide opposite each bobbin so that the yarn can be wound evenly on the bobbin, and a device for reciprocating the said element in such a way that the yarn during one stroke of the reciprocating movement is wound in a helical line of a relatively large pitch in one direction of rotation and during the backward stroke in a helical line of a similar pitch but in a direction of rotation opposite to the first helical line.
As a result of this arrangement, the yarn holds itself on the bobbin without the need for end flanges.
The aim of the invention is to create a device of the aforementioned type in which the yarn is wound evenly over the length of the bobbin.
For this purpose, each of the thread guides must be moved in every direction at a constant speed along the bobbin and momentarily reversed at the opposite ends of the reciprocating movement, because otherwise the yarn is built up more strongly at the ends of the bobbin. This movement will hereinafter be referred to as constant speed reciprocation.
This sudden change of direction is made more difficult by the effects of inertia. The invention aims to solve the problems arising in this connection.
According to the invention, a multi-bobbin winder of the type described above is characterized in that the device for the reciprocating movement of the element carrying the yarn guides at constant speed is connected to said element in such a way that it is subjected to a tensile force with each stroke of the reciprocating movement so that the weight of this element can be reduced to a minimum without it being able to buckle under the action of compressive forces.
In one embodiment of the invention, the flexible element can consist of light wire rope, for example steel.
In this case, supports provided between the yarn guides can have guides made of wear-resistant material such as nylon or tungsten carbide.
The channel provided in each guide can have bell-shaped mouths at the opposite ends. The middle part of the guide can be arranged in a sliding fit on the wire rope. The carriers can also have rollers with circumferential grooves receiving the rope. Two such rollers can be provided at each support point, one above and one below the rope.
In another embodiment, the flexible element can consist of a thin strip, for example of steel. In this case, the guides provided between the yarn guides can have correspondingly shaped slots through which the band extends.
The rope or band can consist of two strands which extend around endless or interrupted sheaves at the ends of the machine. Such an arrangement is particularly suitable for use in a device with rows of coils arranged at intervals from one another, with a run of the rope or tape extending across the coils of each row.
A device can be provided which exerts a tensile force on the cable or band in order to keep it taut.
In either embodiment, each thread guide can have one attached to the flexible member

With this arrangement, any rotation of the
Cable irrelevant. When the yarn is placed on one side of the block, the tension present in the gain tends to move the yarn along the block until it automatically falls into the groove.
Preferably the block is on both sides of the
Groove essentially conical.
If a tape is used, there is a slight
Tendency to twist the same. The yarn guide can therefore have a substantially triangular plate which extends along the length of the belt and is attached to it so that it protrudes from one side of the same and which at its apex with a
Recess is provided for receiving the yarn.
As indicated above, the back and forth

Rows of bobbins running around, given a back and forth rotation. For this purpose, the disc can be provided with a cam stop which is on
The circumference of a heart-shaped cam engages, which revolves around an axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the disk and whose stroke corresponds to the required
The amount of back and forth movement of the yarn guide is determined.
In another embodiment, a Nockenan stop can be connected to one strand of the cable or tape, which engages in a groove in the circumference of a cam which is rotatable about an axis arranged transversely to the axis of rotation of the said disc, the plane in which this Groove is arranged obliquely to the axis of rotation of the cam.
In both arrangements, the cam is so advantageously shaped that the speed given to the yarn guides is constant in both directions and that they are momentarily reversed at the ends of their trajectory.
When the yarn is running at a linear speed of about 90 m / min. is wound, the frequency of the reciprocating movement is advantageously about 80 reciprocating movements per minute for a spool about 12.5 cm long.
The aforementioned arrangement is particularly suitable for a device for the simultaneous false twisting of a number of yarns, in which two rows of upstanding bobbins are arranged at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the machine at the bottom of the machine is withdrawn upwards by a heating device, whereupon the yarns pass through spinning heads in which the yarns receive a false twist and are then fed to the bobbins rotating about horizontal axes via conveyor rollers and by the yarn guides attached to the horizontally arranged flexible element.
There now follows a description of the upper portion of a false twisting apparatus in which the invention is applied to winding the false twisted yarn on take-up bobbins. In the accompanying drawings shows

Fig.
8 shows, on a larger scale, a view of the device shown in FIG. 1 for grasping and guiding the yarn.
According to FIG. 1, the yarns 10 extend upwards from the false twisting device and are wound onto bobbins 11 arranged above in the device. A number of spinning heads are arranged side by side across the width of the device. Furthermore, a number of coils are arranged side by side across the width of the machine.
The bobbin spindles hidden in the drawing are arranged in such a way that they engage in cantilever arms 13 in 12, which in turn are attached to support rods 14 which extend across the width of the machine.
The yarn wound on each bobbin rests in known manner on a cork-covered roller 16 which is attached to a drive shaft 17 which also extends across the width of the machine.
These shafts are driven by the motor-driven gearbox 75 via a chain drive 74.
When the yarn is built up on the bobbins, the bobbin spindles therefore move in a known manner along the grooves 12 of the cantilever arms. So that the yarns are laid evenly backwards and forwards across the width of the bobbins, each yarn or each pair of the yarns collected by a spinning head runs over a yarn guide 19. The yarn guides are attached to a wire 20, which is located near the bobbins engaging parts of the cork-coated rollers extends substantially parallel to the axes of rotation of the reels. The invention relates to the device for moving the yarn guides 19 back and forth in such a way that an immediate reversal takes place at both ends of the bobbin width. For this purpose the yarn guides 19 are attached to the wire rope 20 which extends over the entire width of the machine.
The machine can be provided with two rows of reels 11 one above the other, the reels of each row being driven by a separate set of cork-covered rollers. Two wire ropes carrying the yarn guides, which are arranged at a vertical distance from one another, are therefore required.
The two cables 20 are fastened at one end to opposite ends of a diameter of an interrupted disk 21, which is shown on the left in FIG. 1 and is provided with a groove in its peripheral parts. The interrupted disc 21 is attached to a spindle 22 which is mounted in a bearing, not shown, which is attached to a frame part 9 of the device.
A cam stop in the form of a roller 23 which engages the periphery of a heart-shaped cam 24 is rotatably mounted on the interrupted disk. The cam is attached to a spindle 25 which is driven via a gear 26, one link of which is attached to a spindle 73 which is driven by the motor-driven gear 75 via the chain drive 74.
In order to keep the cam stop in abutment against the circumference of the cam, one end of a tension spring 34 is attached to the interrupted disk 21 or to a lever attached to the spindle 22, the other end of which is attached to a fixed part of the device. As a result of this arrangement, the interrupted pulley 21 is rotated back and forth and gives the aforesaid cables 20 a reciprocating movement. The cam 24 is shaped in such a way that the movement of the ropes 20 is reversed momentarily, while the movement of the yarn guides 19 takes place at a constant speed.
The yarn guides 19 are circular in cross section and have a circumferential groove 65 in the center.
The diameter of the yarn guide decreases from both sides of the groove until it substantially corresponds to the diameter of the rope. Therefore, when the yarn comes out of the groove of the yarn guide, it is automatically brought back into the groove of the yarn guide as a result of the to-and-fro movement of the cable and inserts itself at the beginning of the operation. Since the rope extends from one end of the device to the other, it is of considerable length and must be guided. For this purpose a number of nylon guide tubes 66 (Fig. 2) are provided which are attached to arms 27 which in turn are attached to the fixed support rod 28 which extends the length of the machine and for supporting various yarn guide members such as for example, the guides 8, is seen in a known manner.
The guide tubes 66 for the ropes can, as indicated in Fig. 2 at 69, have bell-shaped mouths at both ends.
At the end of the machine opposite to the interrupted disk 21 rotated back and forth by the cam, there is a second, similarly designed, interrupted disk 30. This disk is an idle disk and is mounted on a spindle 31. The ends of the cables 20 are attached to the interrupted disk 30 by means of tensioning devices 32 in the form of anchors which are attached to the disk by means of adjusting screws.
An arm 73, which is arranged between stops 71, which are adjustably mounted in fixed supports 72, is fastened to the spindle. In this way, the inertia effect of the disk 30 and the ropes is canceled and it is ensured that the cam stop at the tip of the heart cam remains in contact with the latter when the stop and the ropes are reversed.
Instead of a nylon tube forming the guide for the rope, a holder for two pulleys 58 can be provided, which are designed on their circumference so that they engage the rope and which are mounted in a carrier 59 which is attached to the above-mentioned rod 28 attached arm 27 is attached.
Instead of a wire rope, the yarn guides can also be attached to a metal band 35 (Fig. 4) which in turn is attached to the smooth surfaces of two interrupted disks 36 and 37 arranged at opposite ends of the device, which are similar to those described above - and turned around. The guides for this tape consist of U-shaped nylon members 38 which are attached to the end of an arm 27 which is attached to the fixed support rod 28. A screw can be provided in the U-legs which forms a stop 39 which prevents the strip 35 from emerging from the space between the legs.
The yarn guides can each have a metal bracket (see FIGS. 5 and 6) which has a part 40 which extends across the width of the tape and at one end with a hook 41 for engaging the underside of the tape and at the other end with two spaced apart hooks 42 is provided. Furthermore, the bracket has a central part 43 which extends obliquely upwards above the band and has a recess 44 for receiving the yarn.
The upper edges of the latter part extend obliquely downward at 45 towards the belt and thus form ramps on which the yarn can slide into the recess.
In the arrangement shown in FIG. 7 for moving the belt or a rope back and forth, a cam 50 is provided, the peripheral edge of which is provided with a groove 51 which is arranged in a plane inclined to the axis of rotation and in which a stop 52 engages , which is attached to a rod 53 reciprocable in bearings 54. At one end of the rod extending beyond one of the bearings, a cable 55 is attached which is connected to an interrupted disk 21 which is mounted on a spindle 22 which is rotatable to and fro in bearings (not shown) on a fixed part of the device is. At the other end of the rod, one end of the aforementioned rope or band 56 is attached, the other end of which is attached to an interrupted disk 30.
Another strand of the cable or tape 57 extends, similar to that in FIG. 1, between the two interrupted disks 21 and 30.
