Flow tap The present invention relates to a flow tap, the frustoconical plug of which sits in a hollow conical socket of the tap housing and is braced relative to the housing with a clamping nut in the direction of its longitudinal axis.
In known taps, the tapered end of the conical plug is provided with a threaded pin to which a clamping nut provided with a mandrel is attached. In order to achieve a better seal after closing the flow valve, the conical plug is moved by tightening the clamping nut in the direction of the longitudinal axis against the tapered end of the hollow conical socket. Here, however, the chick wedges so tightly that you have to loosen it with one blow before you can open it again.
These blows damage the parts of the faucet over time, and the process is also inconvenient and time-consuming.
The purpose of this invention is to eliminate the disadvantages just mentioned. This is sought according to the invention in such a way that on the clamping nut and on the housing or on the chick Vorrich lines are attached to lift the chick in the direction of its longitudinal axis against the extension of the socket to loosen the tension.
An annular stop surface can be attached to the housing and an annular loosening collar can be attached to the clamping nut which rests against the stop surface when the clamping nut is moved to lift the chick. For example, the clamping nut rotates in an external thread which is attached to the other end of the hollow-conical socket. The, for example, provided on the clamping nut annular, inwardly directed loosening collar then acts together with a corresponding stop surface, which is preferably arranged on the thickened end of the chick. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a flow valve in side view and in partial section.
FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment similar to that shown in FIG. 1, and finally FIG. 3 shows a third embodiment similar to that shown in FIG.
According to Fig. 1, the cone-like, provided with openings 4 plug 5, which engages in a hollow cone-shaped socket 3, is located on the flow valve provided with connection 1 and 2. The chick is to see ver for opening and closing with a handle 6 which is attached to the other end. A threaded pin 7 protrudes from the tapered head of the plug 5.
On the thread of the threaded pin 7 a clamping nut is screwed, which consists of two parts: Outer clamping part 8 with internal thread 10 and inner release part 9, the central bore of which has an internal thread for the thread of the threaded pin 7, and on its outer surface with smaller diameter has an external thread for the thread 10 of the clamping part 8 corresponding to it. As soon as these parts are screwed by means of the Ge thread 10, they are locked with the locking screw 11. The clamping part is provided with a handle 12. An annular stop surface 13 is attached to the clamping part 8, and an annular loosening collar 14 is attached to the inner end of the detachment part.
A ring-shaped clamping and loosening collar 15 protrudes inwards from the housing of the flow valve and cooperates with the clamping part 8 and the loosening part 9.
The flow valve is assembled in such a way that the loosening part 9 of the clamping nut is first inserted through the socket, then the plug 5 is inserted into the socket and screwed to the thread of the loosening part 9. The clamping part 8 is then screwed to the loosening part 9 and locked with the locking screw 11.
If the clamping nut is rotated with the handle 12, the connection surface 13 nestles against the clamping and loosening collar 15 of the housing, since the plug 5, which is brought into the closed position, moves in the direction of its longitudinal axis towards the tapered end, so that the The flow valve closes tightly. If you now turn the handle 12 in the opposite direction, the clamping nut moves so far outwards that the collar 14 of the loosening part 9 nestles against the clamping and loosening collar of the housing 15.
If the clamping nut is rotated further with the handle 12, the chick 5 moves in the direction of the wider end of the socket so that the chick can be easily opened with the handle 6.
In FIG. 2, parts corresponding to FIG. 1 are provided with the same, but single-prime numerals; the embodiment of FIG. 2 is the same as that of FIG. 1, only the type of clamping nut is different.
This is composed of two coaxial parts, the outer clamping part 8 'provided with a handle 12', in which there is an internal thread for the thread of the threaded pin 7 'of the plug 5', and on which there is a stop surface 13 ', and a loosening part 9 ', on which an annular Loosening collar 14' is attached, together with the internal thread for the threaded pin 7 'of the plug 5'. The tensioning part 8 ′ and the loosening part 9 ′ are connected to one another via a device 16.
The flow valve is assembled in such a way that the detachment part 9 'of the clamping nut is first inserted through the housing. Then the release part 9 'and the clamping part 8' by means of the device 16 to be assembled, after which the plug 5 'is fitted into the housing and the threaded pin of the plug with the release part 9' and the clamping nut 8 'is screwed ver.
The construction described works in the same way as the construction according to FIG. 1.
In Fig. 3, the parts corresponding to FIG. 1 are denoted by the same but two-prime numerals. In this embodiment, a thread is cut into the outer surface of the wider socket end of the flow valve, onto which a tightening and loosening nut 18 provided with a corresponding internal thread and handle 12 ″ is screwed, from which an annular tightening and loosening collar 19 protrudes inward.
At the further upper end of the conical plug, a circular disk 21 is attached with screws 20, which has an outwardly protruding stop surface 22 so that the clamping and loosening collar 19 partially engages in the ring-shaped guide 23 of the plug 5 ″, which engages between the surface 22 and the end face of the plug 5 ".
If you turn the clamping and loosening nut 18 in one direction with the aid of the handle 12 ", the clamping and loosening collar 19 presses the plug 5" tightly into the socket 3 "in the direction of its longitudinal axis. If you rotate the clamping by means of the handle 12" - and loosening nut opposite, the clamping and loosening collar 19 pulls the plug 5 ″ out of the socket 3 ″ with the help of the stop surface 22, after which the tap is easy to open.
The invention effectively prevents the plug from eating into the socket of the tap. In addition, the invention is very simple in construction and can easily be attached to older designs. The construction according to this invention can easily be built into all two-way or multi-way faucets which are in use for various purposes.
In a preferred embodiment of the inven tion can, for. B. at the further or at the narrower end of the conical plug a clamping and loosening collar can be attached so that it forms a piece with the plug, since z. B. in the clamping screw a corresponding clamping and loosening collar is attached.
