Rohrverbindung.
Pipe connection. The subject of the invention, inventor Walter Egli in Bern, is a pipe and hose connection for pressure-tight connec tion of two tubular ends through two end pieces to be attached to the latter, in which the first of the end pieces bears at least two noses on the outside, between which spaces to push through of connecting claws of a center piece which is arranged on the second end piece and is provided with means for displacement on the same, with the connecting claws to be guided between the lugs to close the connection,
to twist behind the same and then the means for moving the telstückes with on the second end piece to Dielitspannung the connection are to be operated.
The subject of the invention is shown on the drawing in three exemplary Ausfüh approximate forms.
Fig. 1 shows a view of the first imple mentation in the direction of arrow P; FIG. 2 shows a section through the longitudinal axis of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 shows a section through the longitudinal axis of a second embodiment; F'ig. 4 shows a section through the longitudinal axis of a third embodiment.
The pipe and hose connection ge according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has two end pieces 1 and 2, which are releasably connected to the tubular ends 3 and 4 to be connected by the pipe connection, Faber.
On the outside of the neck of the end piece 1, three lugs 5 are arranged, between which free spaces 6 are left, pushed through the claws 7 of the middle piece 8 and then with the middle piece 8 around the axis 9 in the direction of the arrow 10 .rotated until they rest against the stops 11 of the lugs 5.
The side facing away from the connection point, that is to say the lower side of the lugs 5 and the contact surface of the claws 7, have boundary surfaces lying in a flat surface. The middle piece 8 is guided on the second end piece 2 through the sleeve 12, which is provided on the inside with a thread that engages in the thread on the neck of the end piece 2. The sleeve 12 is rotatably mounted in the middle piece and rests with the edge 13 against the middle piece 8 and carries the grip ring 14 with which it. is firmly connected. The sleeve 12 is used to tighten and tightly tension the connection.
By turning the: handle ring 14, the middle piece 8 can therefore be moved together with the claws on the neck of the end piece 2 and both end pieces 1 and 2 pressed against each other or released from each other. The end pieces 1 and 2 are provided on their inside with cones 15, which enable both parts to be reliably sealed off from one another. Instead of conical, the sealing surfaces can also be designed spherical.
To connect the two end pieces 1 and 2, the middle piece 8 is lifted with the claws over the end piece 1 between the lugs 5 and then turned clockwise in the direction of the arrow 10 until the claws rest against the stops 11. With the same hand movement and in the same direction, the grip ring 1.4 is then rotated further until both end pieces with the cones sit tightly together. As shown on the drawing, right-hand thread is attached to the neck of the end piece 2 for this purpose.
The connection can be brought about in the same way with left-hand rotation by attaching left-hand thread on the neck of the end piece 2.
According to a second embodiment, FIG. 3, the middle piece 8 with the claws 7 has an extension 16 with a thread on which a nut 17 is rotatably arranged, which is supported on an adapter 18 on the neck of the end piece 2.
After the claws 7 of the ltlittelstücl @ es are guided and rotated over the noses of the end piece 1, the middle piece 8 is stretched against the end piece 2 by turning the nut 17, and the two cones 15 are thereby pressed into one another for sealing. In the third embodiment according to FIG. 4, the claws 7 of the mit telsit.ückes 8 again grip the noses 5 of the end piece 1 and are on the same up to the stops 1.1. twisted.
The neck of the end piece 2 is cylindrical and rotatable on the same with the handle head 19 and threaded sleeve 20 pushed on. The sleeve 20 engages in the bore 21 of the central stitch 8 and rests on the edge 22 of the end piece 2. If the claws 7 are pushed over the noses of the end piece 1 and twisted on the same up to the stops 11, by turning the sleeve 20, the two end pieces 1 and 2 are pressed against each other and thus the seal between the cones 15 is brought about.
The connection is released by releasing the thread tension, after which the center piece on the end piece 2 can be turned so far that the claws can be pulled out through the spaces between the lugs and the connection can thus be released.
