Etui, insbesondere für Trockenrasierapparat
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Etui, insbesondere für die Verpackung eines Trokkenrasierapparates. Es kann sich dabei um einen elektrischen Trockenrasierapparat handeln, mit am einen Ende eines das Gehäuse für den Antriebsmotor bildenden Handgriffes angeordnetem Scherkopf. Die Erfindung ist aber nicht auf die Verpackung solcher Apparate beschränkt. Es ist bekannt, Trockenrasierapparate mit einer Schutzhülle z. B. aus Leder oder dergleichen in den Verkauf zu bringen. Eine solche Hülle kann aber den Apparat nur ungenügend gegen Schläge schützen, weshalb es meist notwendig ist, den Apparat samt Hülle für Versand und Verkauf zusätzlich in einem Etui zu verpacken.
Bekannte Etuis dieser Art besitzen normale Kastenform, das heisst die Trennebene zwischen Deckel und Etuikörper verläuft parallei zum Etuiboden. Die Trennebene verläuft dabei meist in oder über der Mitte der Etuihöhe. Solche Etuis sind, besonders wenn sie auch zur Schaustellung des Apparates in Verkaufgeschäften dienen sollen, wenig originell, besitzen aber ausserdem den Nachteil, dass zufolge der allseitig gleichen, relativ grossen Höhe des Etuikörpers das Herausnehmen des Apparates umständlich ist. Anderseits lässt sich der Deckel eines solchen Etuis derart leicht öffnen, dass ein Verschluss unumgänglich ist.
Alle bisher verwendeten Verschlüsse verteuern aber die Herstellungskosten des Etuis erheblich, da sie nicht nur den Ankauf zusätzlicher Elemente wie Druckknöpfe und dergleichen durch den Etuifabrikanten, sondern meist auch eine längere und durch gelerntes Personal vorzunehmende Montage bedingen.
Diese Nachteile sind beim Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung vermieden. Zu diesem Zweck ist das Etui gemäss der Erfindung dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorderwand des Etuikörpers höchstens die halbe Höhe von dessen Rückwand besitzt, wobei ein mit der Decke des Etuis versehener, an der Oberkante der Rückwand des Etuikörpers angelenkter Deckel eine Vorderwand von mindestens annähernd gleicher Höhe wie die genannte Rückwand besitzt, die mit ihren äusseren Abschnitten die Vorderwand des Etuikörpers übergreifen. Zweckmässig ist eine mittlere, an der Deckelvorderwand ausgeschnittene Zunge vorgesehen, die hinter die Vorderwand des Etuikörpers greift; durch das Hintergreifen der Vorderwand des Etuikörpers durch die genannte Deckelzunge wird der Deckel durch Klemmwirkung in seiner Schliesslage am Etuikörper gesichert.
Da die Vorderwand des Etuikörpers zufolge der stark schräg nach yorn verlaufenden Trennebene zwischen Deckel und Etuikörper sehr niedrig gehalten werden kann, ohne dass gleichzeitig auch die Rückwand verkleinert wird, findet der Apparat, ob er nun mit oder ohne Hülle verpackt wird, einen einwandfreien Halt im Etui und lässt sich trotzdem leicht daraus entfernen.
In der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt; es zeigt:

Das gezeichnete Etui dient zum Verpacken eines länglichen Trockenrasierapparates (nicht gezeichnet) mit am einen Ende des als Motorgehäuse ausgebildeten Handgriffes angeordneten Scherkopf. Das Etui besitzt Kastenform und ist im Querschnitt annähernd quadratisch. Es kann aus Karton mit Kunststoff überzug bestehen.
Der Etuikörper A besitzt eine Rückwand 1, einen Boden 2, eine Vorderwand 3, von weniger als der halben Rückwandhöhe und trapezförmige Seitenwände 4. Der Deckel B des Etuis ist im Querschnitt dreieckförmig und er ist mit der freien Kante der Etuidecke 5 schwenkbar an der Oberkante der Rückwand 1 befestigt. Die Vorderwand 6 des Deckels B besitzt gleiche Höhe wie die Rückwand 1 des Etuikörpers. In der Längsmitte der Vorderwand 6 des Deckels ist durch zwei Einschnitte 7 eine Zunge 8 gebildet, die beim Schliessen des Deckels B hinter die Vorderwand 3 des Etuikörpers A gesteckt wird, während die seitlichen Abschnitte der Deckelvorderwand 6 die Vorderwand 3 übergreifen. Dadurch ist ein zwar leicht lösbarer, aber dennoch sicherer Klemmschluss des Deckels am Etuikörper gewährleistet. Auch die dreieckförmigen Seitenwände 9 des Deckels B übergreifen die Seitenwände 4 des Etuikörpers.
Die Innenseite der Deckwand 5 ist mit einer Schlaufe 10 zum Einstecken eines Bürstchens 11 versehen, das zum Reinigen des Scherkopfes dient.
Ferner ist an der Innenseite der Deckwand ein Fach 12 zur Aufnahme eines Prospektes, einer Gebrauchsanweisung, eines Garantiescheines oder dergleichen vorgesehen. Im Inneren des Etuis lassen sich auch Halter für weitere Zubehörteile anbringen.
Zweckmässig ist das Etui aussen zweifarbig gehalten, das heisst Deckel und Etuikörper können Kontrastfarben aufweisen. Auf dem bei geschlossenem Deckel sichtbaren Abschnitt der Vorderwand 3 des Etuikörpers lässt sich eine Verzierung, eine Marke, ein Signet oder dergleichen anbringen. Die eine Zunge 8 bildenden Einschnitte 7 könnten auch weggelassen sein.
Zu Ausstellungszwecken kann das Etui z. B. mit waagrecht nach hinten geklapptem Deckel B so aufgestellt werden, dass Etuikörper und Deckel als zwei Behälter gestaffelt übereinanderliegen. Die niedere Vorderwand 3 des Etuikörpers A und das Fehlen einer solchen Wand bei dem durch den aufgeklappten Deckel gebildeten Behälter lassen dabei die darin zur Schau gestellten Apparate bzw. Apparateteile, Schutzhüllen und dergleichen gut zur Geltung kommen. In dieser Lage des Deckels B lassen sich Pro spekte und dergleichen aufrecht und gegen die Wand
6 anliegend in den durch den Deckel gebildeten Be hälter stellen, oder in die die Zunge 8 bildenden Einschnitte 7 einstecken. Zum Ausstellen des Appa rates auf Tischen, Vitrinen und dergleichen kann der
Etuideckel auch ganz nach hinten geklappt werden, wie dies strichpunktiert in Fig. 2 gezeigt ist.
Die freien Kanten der Seitenwände 4, 9 könn ten anstatt geradlinig auch gebogen sein.
Case, especially for dry razors

However, such a cover can only insufficiently protect the device against impacts, which is why it is usually necessary to additionally pack the device and cover in a case for shipping and sale.
Known cases of this type have a normal box shape, that is, the parting plane between the lid and the case body runs parallel to the case base. The parting line usually runs in or above the middle of the case height. Such cases are not very original, especially if they are also intended to be used to display the device in stores, but also have the disadvantage that, due to the relatively large height of the case body, which is identical on all sides, removing the device is cumbersome. On the other hand, the lid of such a case can be opened so easily that a closure is unavoidable.
All the closures used up to now increase the manufacturing costs of the case considerably, since they not only require the case manufacturer to purchase additional elements such as snaps and the like, but also usually require a longer assembly that has to be carried out by trained personnel.
These disadvantages are avoided in the subject matter of the present invention. For this purpose, the case according to the invention is characterized in that the front wall of the case body is at most half the height of its rear wall, with a cover provided with the cover of the case and hinged to the upper edge of the rear wall of the case body having a front wall of at least approximately the same Has the same height as the said rear wall, which with its outer sections overlap the front wall of the case body. A middle tongue, cut out on the cover front wall, is expediently provided which engages behind the front wall of the case body; By engaging behind the front wall of the case body by the mentioned lid tongue, the lid is secured in its closed position on the case body by a clamping effect.
Since the front wall of the case body can be kept very low due to the dividing line between the lid and case body, which runs at a steep incline towards the yorn, without reducing the size of the rear wall at the same time, the device, whether it is packed with or without a cover, will find a perfect hold in the Case and can still be easily removed from it.

The case shown is used to pack an elongated dry shaving apparatus (not shown) with a shaving head arranged at one end of the handle designed as a motor housing. The case has a box shape and is almost square in cross section. It can consist of cardboard with a plastic coating.
The case body A has a rear wall 1, a bottom 2, a front wall 3, less than half the height of the rear wall and trapezoidal side walls 4. The cover B of the case is triangular in cross-section and it is pivotable with the free edge of the case cover 5 at the upper edge the rear wall 1 attached. The front wall 6 of the cover B has the same height as the rear wall 1 of the case body. In the longitudinal center of the front wall 6 of the lid, a tongue 8 is formed by two incisions 7, which is inserted behind the front wall 3 of the case body A when the lid B is closed, while the lateral sections of the lid front wall 6 overlap the front wall 3. This ensures that the lid is clamped securely on the case body, which can be released easily. The triangular side walls 9 of the cover B also overlap the side walls 4 of the case body.
The inside of the top wall 5 is provided with a loop 10 for inserting a brush 11, which is used to clean the shaving head.
Furthermore, a compartment 12 is provided on the inside of the top wall for holding a brochure, instructions for use, a guarantee certificate or the like. Holders for other accessories can also be attached inside the case.
The case is expediently two-colored on the outside, i.e. the lid and case body can have contrasting colors. A decoration, a mark, a signet or the like can be applied to the section of the front wall 3 of the case body that is visible when the cover is closed. The incisions 7 forming a tongue 8 could also be omitted.
