Slat blinds The subject of the main patent is a slat store with a large number of slats, which are pivotably mounted at the front on guide strips that are fastened to a winding shaft and can be wound onto this, the slats, with the exception of at least the topmost slat, at one of them Longitudinal edge are also articulated to at least one other tape attached to the winding shaft, the whole in such a way
that when the store is lowered, the winding shaft continues to rotate in the sense of lowering the store, the lamellae, which are additionally linked to the above-mentioned further belt, are pivoted into their open position about their bearings on the guide belts, while the lamella, which is only connected to the guide belts, remains in its closed position.
It has now been shown that especially in those cases in which three or more upper lamellae are to remain in their closed position, this position of the lamellae is not always guaranteed. According to the invention, an improvement in this regard is achieved in that the non-pivotable lamellae, which are only connected to the guide strips, are interconnected by additional means in such a way that they form a coherent, flexible lamellar armor. An undesirable, e.g.
B. when the blind is lowered automatically, swiveling of these individual upper slats is made impossible without the other hand, the winding of these slats on the winding shaft is hindered.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown; It shows: FIG. 1 a vertical cross-section through a first example of a slatted blind in the unwound state, FIG. 2 a diagrammatic and larger scale detail of the blind according to FIGS. 1, </ B > FIG. 3 shows a vertical cross section similar to FIG. 1 through part of a second example of a slat window and FIG. 4 shows a view of part of the blind according to FIG > 3.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, the pull-up shaft of the blind is shown, which is rotatably mounted in a housing 30 . The housing is mounted over the window opening 31 which is to be covered by the blind. On one end of the shaft there is a drive wheel 2, to which either a tension belt for rotating the shaft is attached in a known manner or which carries a ring gear which is in engagement with a gear operated by a hand crank.
On the outside of the upper transverse part of the window frame 30a, a strip 30b opposite the lower lintel edge of the housing is fastened so that the blind emerges from the housing A relatively narrow opening 22 is created.
The upper ends of two guide bands 4, which can be made of steel or a similar material, and which extend downward through the opening 22 are fastened to the shaft. Guide rails 7, in which the guide bands 4 run ver, are attached to the sides of the window opening. An end rail 8 is attached to the lower end of the bands 4.
The blind according to FIG. 1 has a number of thin lamellae 3 and a number of further lamellae 3a, which are made of metal and are curved transversely to the longitudinal direction. The lamellas are provided with an upwardly curved flange on the inside edge and a downwardly bent flange on the outside edge. The ends of the slats 3 and 3a are pivotably mounted on the guide belt 4. For this purpose, pins 5 are attached to both ends of the lamella. The pins 5 are inserted into eyelets 6 which are attached to the guide straps 4.
The ends of two swivel belts 9 are attached to the winding shaft 1 . The inner edges of the slats 3 are pivoted on these belts. Near the ends of the Lafmellen 3 cutouts are provided on the upwardly bent beaded edge, into which an eyelet 10 engages, which welds through spot or similar Kind of connected with the ribbons 9 . A pin 11 inserted through the eyelet 10 and which fits into the upwardly bent flange of the lamella 3 forms a pivotable connection between the eyelets and the Slats.
Furthermore, at least one additional band 20 is provided which engages the upwardly bent flange edge of the lamellae 3a which are not firmly connected to the bands 9. The lamellas 30 are hinged to the belt 20 by means of eyelets 21 which are attached to the belt 20 and which fit into recesses on the edge of the lamella. A pin, not shown, in the flanged edge and through the eyelet completes this connection.
In addition, on the upwardly curved beaded edge of the lamellae 3, as in FIG. 2 and in FIG. 1 shown for the two uppermost slats 3a, brackets 23 through which the swivel belts 9 are passed in order to attach them to the slats 3a to lead along. Such brackets can be attached to all of the slats 3a or only to one or two of the same.
If the shaft 1 is unwound to lower the blind, then the guide strips 4 with the slats 3 and 3a attached to them slide on the guide rails 7 down until the end slot 8 hits the guide rails at the bottom. All slats 3 and 3a are then in their closed position. Since they are relatively narrow in this position, they can easily pass through the narrow opening 22 in the housing 30.
C However, if the shaft 1 is rotated further in the direction of unwinding, then as a result of the further downward movement of the belt 9 the lamellas 3 pivot in their open position. Since the band 9 is not firmly connected to the slats 3a, these remain in the closed position. In addition, since the belts 4 have the tendency to move further downwards, but are prevented from doing so by the end rail 8 which rests on the window sill, the upper ends of the belts 4 move and consequently also the Slats 3a slightly away from belt 9 . As a result, the belt 20 generates an upward pull on all of the slats 3a, which prevents the slats 3a from coming into the open position.
In this way it is achieved that the pivotable slats 3 are pivoted into the open position, while the slats 3a remain in the closed position and form a cover between the lower side of the upper window edge. All of the lamellas can effortlessly penetrate the narrow opening 22 of the housing.
Fig. 1 shows particularly clearly that the lintel opening required in the case of conventional curtains with consistently pivotable slats could be reduced from width a to the significantly smaller width b .
In the blind shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the top, non-pivotable slat is replaced by a slat-shaped, rigid rod 3b , which is used at 32 as well as at 33 (Fig. 4) with the guide bands 4 is connected. The connection point 32 is formed by a bolt at the end of the rod and an eyelet on the guide band, while the connection 33 is formed by a block 34 fastened on the band 4, in which a bolt 35 is inserted at the end of the rod, is formed.
As shown in FIG. 3, the block 34 is so large that it does not fit into the guide rail 7 .
The bar 3b provides additional support for the lamellar armor and prevents the long, thin lamellas from sagging. Another guide band 25 is provided, which is attached to rod 3b at 26 . This guide band extends downward through openings 36 in the launelles 3 and 3a. The band 25 is connected to the slats by a hinge. The additional band 20 is not only connected to the slats 3a at 24 but also to the rod 3b , so that in this example too the slats 3a and the rod 3b have a non-pivotable, but form flexible armor.
An additional carrier tape 27 which engages in the longitudinal center at 28 on the upper edge of the rod 3b and on the winding shaft 1 </ B > Can be wound up, secures the rod 3b against sagging, especially with very wide blinds.
A particular advantage of the blinds described is that the width of the lintel opening 22 can be kept smaller than the width of the slats. This is not only a part before for aesthetic reasons, but also results in a better seal of the housing interior.
