Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch die Vorrichtung,
Device for mixing bulk materials
The invention relates to a device for mixing bulk materials.
A device for mixing powdery substances, such as flour, is known which has a container which narrows downwards to a conical shape and has an outlet opening at the lower end. Inside this container a screw is arranged, the lower end of which can be pivoted around a ball joint in the center of the axis of the container, while the upper end of the screw is eccentric according to the shape of the wall of the housing.
The screw conveyor is thus inclined to the axis of the container and is intended to transport the material back up again and again along the wall of the container.
The inclined mounting of the screw conveyor relative to the axis of the housing is associated with difficulties. The ball joint at the lower end of the screw conveyor is subject to high stresses and, moreover, the performance is relatively low.
The invention is based on the object of creating a device for mixing bulk materials, which has a high output, makes good use of space, and wherein the conveyor screws are not inclined to the axis of the device.
The invention is characterized in that one or more screw conveyors are arranged parallel to a rotating central shaft of the mixer housing, which, in addition to rotating about their own axis, perform a rotary movement together with the central shaft of the device. The bearings of the screw conveyors can be designed very simply in this arrangement.
The housing of the mixing device can stand still or also rotate in a desired direction. The position of the entire device is preferably vertical. But it can also be horizontal.
The invention is shown in one embodiment in the drawing clamps. Show it:
1 shows a longitudinal section through the device,
Fig. 2 shows a cross section in the direction a-b through Fig. 1 and
Fig. 3 is a Semtenanlsiicht, in the direction of arrow A on Fig. 1, wherein the housing of the device is ge cut.
1 is the housing of the device, which is designed for example cylindrically in the upper part.
The lower housing part 1 'can conically narrow downwards and; can have a 1 "rough border at the bottom.
The housing is closed at the top and carries the egg inlet openings 2 for the bulk material. At the lower end, for example, an outlet opening 3 with the outlet pipe 3 'is provided, wherein a gate valve 3' 'can close the outlet.
Inside the device, the main shaft 4 rotates, which is driven by a worm 5 'and a worm wheel 5 ". The worm wheel 5" drives a sleeve 6; the sleeve 6 is seated on a hollow cross member 7. This supports the shaft 4 by means of the flange 8.
At the bottom of the shaft 4 glue cross member 9 is provided. Above this, connected to the cross member and the shaft 4, there is a closure box 10 which widens downwards. With the conical wall 1 'of the housing it forms a space that narrows downwards. The lower cylindrical part 10 ′ adjoining the cone 10 forms an annular channel 11 with the cylindrical part 1 ″ of the housing. 12 are two shafts which are parallel to the main shaft 4 and carry the screw conveyors 13.
The shafts 12 are rotatably supported in the cross member 9 with their lower end 12 ′. The upper ends 14 are rotatably mounted on the Qiier carrier 7 and carry gears 15. These mesh with gears 16 on the transverse carrier 7. The gears 16 are driven by a central gear 17. This receives its drive via the shaft 18, a bevel gear 19, a bevel gear 20 from the drive pulley 21. 22 is the bulk material. The cross member 9 also carries two blades 23 which, as the cross member 9 revolves, feed the material from the bottom of the annular channel 11 to the screw conveyor 13. Instead of two screw conveyors 13, only one or several screw conveyors can be provided.
The mode of operation of the device described is as follows:
When the shaft 4 rotates, the cross members 7 and 9 rotate with them and take the conveyor son corner 13 with them. At the same time, the screw conveyors 13 rotate about their own axis. The material 22 is conveyed continuously from bottom to top and also worked through in the circumferential direction and mixed with it.
