Device for mixing bulk goods by means of several circulating conveyor belts
Devices for mixing bulk material by means of several circulating conveyor belts each with a weighing beam are known, each conveyor belt being driven by a direct current motor and the quantity and height of the bulk material on the conveyor belts being automatically adjusted by a slide at the outlet from a chute in interaction with the movement of the weighing beam is kept constant.
The setting of the electric motors is done in known devices of this type, for. B. by the electronic control of said motors, potentiometers are provided, of which a main potentiometer is arranged for the entirety of the motors of the conveyor belts and a downstream potentiometer for each conveyor belt to adjust the conveying capacity of each conveyor belt. You can z. B. thereby adjust the total output of the conveyor belts through the main potentiometer and the percentage of the conveyor belts in the total output through the downstream potentiometer.
Such devices have also been proposed with resistance control of the individual motors or with the influence of a single, provided between the conveyor belt motor and conveyor belt continuously variable transmission. These control devices mentioned are only possible with coarse control, while modern control methods not only require a particularly low tolerance within the required limits, but also a setting option that is particularly quick to respond.
The invention now relates to a device for mixing bulk material by means of several circulating conveyor belts each with a weighing beam, each conveyor belt being driven by an electric motor, and the height of the bulk material on the conveyor belts automatically by means of a slide at the outlet from each chute in interaction with the movement the weighing beam of the conveyor belt is kept constant, the characteristic of the invention is that between each conveyor belt and its drive motor, two continuously variable gears are connected, one of which is set by a control motor each, which control motors are controlled by a common control point while the control motors of the other gearboxes are controlled separately from each other by a control unit.
Since the modern continuously variable and adjustable gears work very precisely and the control motors are easy to operate, and do not require any special maintenance for rough operations, the advantage of precise control even without complicated circuits arises, especially due to the elimination of sensitive electronic tubes of all kinds.
In an exemplary embodiment, the drive motor of each conveyor belt is connected to an intermediate shaft via a continuously variable and adjustable gear, from which a second, similar gear works on the shaft of the conveyor belt. Each of the two gears is adjusted by an electric motor as a servo motor, or can be adjusted in this way.
The invention can be understood with reference to the drawing, which illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the invention in a schematic circuit diagram.
As can be seen from the drawing, 1 and 2 denote two electric motors which are used to drive two weighing conveyor belts 3 and 4. These are designed in a known manner in that the conveyor belt rotates over two rollers in a frame that serves as a weighing beam, one of which is connected to the drive. The storage of this weighing conveyor belt is also made in a known manner in connection with a weighing beam, and with the latter a slide at the outlet of a chute which the material falls onto the conveyor belt is connected in such a way that with a larger discharge of material according to the movement of the weighing beam the slide is connected the opening is reduced in size and enlarged with a smaller outlet, which play therefore takes place in interaction.
In the drawing, only two such weighing conveyor belts are shown schematically, but more than two can also be connected in parallel as shown.
Each of the electric motors 1 and 2 is connected to a power source 6 via contactors 5. Each electric motor 1 or 2 works via a known continuously variable transmission 7, 7a on an intermediate shaft 8, from which a second continuously variable transmission 9, 9a leads to the drive shaft 3a or 4a of the weighing conveyor belt 3 or 4.
At 10 each an adjusting gear is provided, on each of which a control motor (servo motor) 11 or
12, 13 is connected, each of which carries out the stepless adjustment via its associated control gear 10 according to its received control pulses.
The control motors 11 for the individual weighing conveyor belts are jointly connected to a control line 15 and via a regulating switch 16, which is at the same time connected to the power source 6.
Each of the two control motors 12 and 13 is connected to the same power source 6 via an associated line 17 or 18, a control and polarity reversal switch 19 or 20, respectively.
The drive shafts 3a and 4a are connected to remote speed sensors 22 and 23, which electrically transmit the individual powers of the individual weighing conveyor belts 3 and 4 via lines 26, 27 to the display devices 24 and 25, respectively.
One of the two shafts (intermediate shafts) is also connected to a remote speed sensor 29 which jointly determines the speed of the aforementioned conveyor belts 3 and 4 and transmits its data to the display device 31 via the line 30.
On the basis of the required performance, i.e. the total performance of the conveyor belts, the control motors 11 are set by means of the control switch 16. The setting of the individual conveyor belts, dividing the overall line to the goods to be mixed on the individual conveyor belts 3 and 4, is carried out by the control switch 19 and 20 and thus by influencing the control motors 12 and 13, which each set the second continuously variable transmission of each weighing conveyor belt unit.
The dependency of the individual output given for each conveyor belt is given by the instantaneous position of one part of the double stepless transmission of each conveyor belt unit, so that the individual setting of each of these is added to this overall setting of each conveyor belt.
