Thermoelectrically controlled, fully automatic low-gas ignition protection The invention relates to a thermoelectrically controlled, fully automatic low-gas ignition protection, in which a pilot flame causes a change in current or voltage via one or more thermocouples, which is used to control a ZühdL device and a main burner valve.
Thermoelectrically controlled ignition fuses of the known type use, insofar as they are fully automatic, as claimed, for controlling the ignition device and the main burner valve as amplifiers. These intermediate links, which serve as amplifiers, often make the ignition fuse more delicate, but always multi-link and therefore more prone to failure, apart from the fact that they also make the ignition fuse more expensive.
The invention eliminates these disadvantages and consists in the fact that the current or voltage change controls a relay directly, thus without the use of an intermediate element designed as an amplifier, which switches on an ignition device via an auxiliary circuit when the ignition flame is not burning and keeps the main burner valve closed while it is Burning the said flame switches off the ignition device and opens the main burner valve and keeps it open.
The drawing illustrates how such a fully automatic low-gas ignition system works. With the circuit specified, it represents only one of many possible embodiments and in no way expresses any kind of restriction of the invention to this embodiment.
If the switch 1 is closed, the mains voltage is present via the normally closed contact 2-3 of the temperature sensor 4 and the normally closed contact 5-6 of the thermal release 7 as well as via the contacts 8-9 of the relay 10 to the primary coil of the ignition transformer 11. Its secondary voltage is applied the ignition electrode 12 and there forms sparks which jump to the nozzle 13 of the ignition flame. At the same time, the coil of the pilot flame valve 14 is connected to the mains voltage, so that this valve opens the way for the gas to the pilot nozzle 13. Here it ignites on the ignition sparks generated by the secondary winding of the ignition transformer 11.
An arrangement of thermocouples 15 is attached to the nozzle 13 of the pilot flame in a manner known per se, wherein the arrangement can contain a single or multiple thermocouples in any number and combination, which by virtue of being heated by the pilot flame generates sufficient thermal voltage.
After the thermal voltage has reached the response value of the relay 10, the contact pair 8-9 of the relay is interrupted and instead the contact pair 16-17 is closed. The mains voltage is thus applied to the coil of the main burner valve 18, opens it and at the same time brings a signal lamp 19 to glow, which indicates the operating state of the burner valve 18. The gas then flowing out of the nozzle 20 of the main burner ignites at the pilot flame. When switching from contact pair 8-9 to contact pair 16-17 of relay 10, ignition transformer 11 is switched off at the same time.
If the material to be heated by the burner flame and / or the room heated by it reaches the prescribed temperature, the temperature sensor 4 responds and interrupts the mains voltage until the temperature drops below a lower setpoint and the contact 2-3 is closed again . When the contact 2-3 is open, the coils of the ignition valve 14 and of the burner valve 18 are de-energized and close the valves.

When the contact 2-3 is switched on again, the ignition takes place again as described above.
If there is no ignition and therefore no heating of the thermocouple due to a malfunction in the power and / or gas supply, the thermal release 7 responds after a defined delay time and switches off the mains voltage. The thermal release 7 can be equipped with a restart lock, which makes the elimination of an existing fault a prerequisite for restarting the system.
The switches, temperature sensors and thermal triggers specified here can be designed in any form, they can also be part or output element of a more extensive control system for the fully automatic low-gas ignition protection of a partial system and / or the entire system, as well as the thermal voltage in a compensation circuit for the actuation of several command receivers can be used.
