Description
Fig. 1 eines der beiden Geräte des tragbaren Palett-Handhubrollers in perspektivischer Gesamtdarstellung;
Fig. 2 das eine Gerät von der linken Seite her unter das im Schnitt teilweise dargestellte Palett geschoben, noch unbelastet;
Portable hand lift trolley for pallets
The handcarts known up to now for moving pallets are equipped with a hydraulic device, threaded spindles or toothed chains for lifting and setting them down and represent large and heavy devices even when empty.
These constructions have proven themselves many times in spacious shipping and storage rooms.
The need to lift and transport pallets now also exists in small and commercial businesses, as well as in the mostly tight relationships between the processing machines in the production rooms, etc.
The fact that such transport devices often have to make long empty journeys in order to move a palletized load by a few meters brings with it a certain inefficiency.
The present invention aims to provide a portable hand lift trolley for lifting and moving pallets in tight spaces, e.g. B. in small commercial operations and production rooms, as well as to relieve heavy lifting and stacking devices from small operations with long empty trips.
The portable hand lift roller according to the present invention has two devices which are each intended to be pushed into engagement with its recesses on one of the two opposite sides of the pallet to be lifted.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing:
1 shows one of the two devices of the portable pallet hand lift trolley in an overall perspective view;
2 shows the one device pushed from the left side under the pallet partially shown in section, still unloaded;
Fig. 3 the other device pushed from the right side under the pallet, loaded by tilting and thus brought into the driving position.
The portable pallet hand lift trolley usually consists of two devices. Each device has two foot pieces 2, each provided with a castor 1.
These foot pieces are provided with a supporting edge 3 in front of the steering roller. The actuating levers 4 attached to the foot pieces behind the rollers are designed as brackets; its bar serves as a handle when tilting the foot pieces to pick up a pallet and when moving the device. The bracket must be swiveled up to the stop against the pallet or the pallet mounting frame in order to produce the driving position of the device with the pallet according to FIG. 3. The shape of the foot pieces is such that they can be pushed into the lateral recesses of the pallet between its foot pieces in the introduction position according to FIG. When the foot pieces are tilted around their supporting edge on top by swiveling the bracket up around the swivel castor axis, the pallet is lifted off the floor.
The castors are rolled under the loaded bearing edges, the bearing edges being tilted beyond their highest position into a lower end position against the castor axis. In the end position, this causes a torque that is opposite to the tilting back of the foot pieces and tipping over of the device, by which the bracket is pressed against the pallet. To prevent this from tipping over when crossing uneven floors, hook-shaped and plate-shaped elements 5 and 6 movable on the bracket are provided, which can be made to grip the pallet frame or the pallet itself.
The crossbar 7 of the bracket serves as a stop when inserting the foot pieces into the side recesses of the pallet. In the manner described, the two devices of the lifting trolley are each attached to one of the two opposite sides of the pallet.
The known properties of the castors allow the two devices in the driving position according to FIG. 3 to execute movements in any direction of travel.
The removal of the devices or the unloading of the pallet takes place in the reverse order.
With light loads, it is possible to carry the pallet using the handles of the two devices over thresholds.
