Description

Roof covering in the form of a sheet of material, e.g. Roofing felt The laying of the previously known roof covering materials in the form of sheets, such as B. roofing felt, on a base, e.g. B. from concrete, wood, etc., is known to be done by gluing. For this purpose z.

   B. hot bonding process, with a bitumen adhesive or cold debonding with .bituminous adhesives used. All of these procedures are cumbersome and time-consuming as a result of the preparatory work required. The present invention relates to a roof cover in the form of a web of material, such as. B.

Roofing felt, which allows to eliminate all these disadvantages.

This roof cover is characterized in accordance with the invention, d'ass it is provided on one side of the Ma material web with a permanent adhesive with self-adhesive effect on which a removable protective film adheres, the z. B. made of impregnated paper can be available. As a permanent adhesive with a self-adhesive effect, the currently common Kompositio NEN come into consideration, which z.

   B. rubber, coumarone resin, polyvinylharae, polyisobutylene or polystyrene contain. This roof covering usually comes in the form of rolls of material in the trade. To lay it, it is rolled up and the protective film is removed.

The adhesive side of the membrane is then placed on the substrate (concrete, wood, etc.) and pressed on. The bond is permanent. The entire preparation and spreading of the adhesive is therefore no longer necessary.

The sticking takes place immediately, im. In contrast to the cold adhesive compounds. Further advantages of the roofing material described above are the following: 1. quick and clean operation, 2. avoidance of bubbles and waves, 3. clean edges of the individual strips, 4.

Facilitation of laying with steep slopes and, with complicated connection parts and 5. Exclusion of fire hazard during laying.
