Inhalateur d'insufflation médical La présente invention a pour objet un inhalateur d'insufflation médical. Il est caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un corps creux communiquant, à l'une de ses extrémités, avec une poire en caout chouc munie à sa partie antérieure d'une soupape d'aspiration d'air et, à l'autre extrémité, avec un tuyau flexible muni à son extrémité libre d'un embout en forme de gland, ledit corps creux formant à sa partie antérieure un récipient destiné à contenir une substance pulvérulente, une soupape de refoule ment étant logée dans la partie médiane du corps creux,
le tout étant agencé de manière que, en com primant la poire en caoutchouc, la substance pulvé rulente, chassée sous l'effet de la pression dans le corps creux en éloignant de son siège la soupape de refoulement, est acheminée à travers le tuyau flexi ble et expulsée hors du gland, ladite matière étant destinée à être appliquée contre la paroi d'une cavité dans laquelle le tuyau est introduit, la pression exer cée sur la poire ayant pour effet d'appuyer la sou pape d'aspiration contre son siège et que, en décom primant la poire, la soupape de refoulement est appuyée contre son siège à l'intérieur du corps creux,
la soupape d'aspiration étant éloignée de son siège sous l'effet de la dépression créée à l'intérieur de la poire lorsque celle-ci revient à sa position de repos.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution et une variante de l'inhalateur, objet de l'invention.

L'inhalateur, dans la forme d'exécution représen tée dans les fig. 1 à 5, comprend un corps. creux 1, par exemple de forme générale cylindrique, muni à sa partie antérieure d'une collerette 2 (fig. 2 et 3) destinée à pénétrer dans l'extrémité inférieure 3 (fig. 4 et 5) d'un manchon 4 de forme générale cylindrique.
L'extrémité supérieure 5, rétrécie, dudit manchon, est engagée dans le .support creux 6 d'une poire 7, en caoutchouc, munie à son extrémité libre d'une soupape 8 d'aspiration d'air, de construction usuelle.
La paroi intérieure 9 de la collerette 2 forme avec la paroi intérieure 10 du manchon 4 un réci pient destiné à contenir une substance pulvérulente 11 (fig. 1). Dans l'évidement central 12 du corps creux 1 est logée une soupape 13 de refoulement dont le siège est formé par un bouchon 14 fixé par vissage dans ledit évidement. La tige 15 de la sou pape 13 est engagée dans un ressort 16 à boudin reposant sur l'orifice 17 (fig. 2) d'une partie rétré cie de l'évidement central 12.
La partie postérieure 18 (fig. 1) du corps creux 1 est engagée d'ans l'une des extrémités 19 d'un tuyau flexible 20, par exemple en matière plastique, dont l'autre extrémité 21 est fixée dans un embout creux 22 en forme de gland.
En comprimant la poire 7, 1a substance pulvéru lente 11, chassée sous l'effet de la pression dans le corps creux 1 en éloignant de son siège, formé par le bouchon 14, la soupape de refoulement 13, est ache minée à travers le tuyau flexible 20 et expulsée hors du gland 22, la pression exercée sur la poire ayant pour effet d'appuyer la soupape d'aspiration 8 con tre son siège.
En décomprimant la poire 7, la soupape de refoulement 13 est appuyée contre son siège sous l'effet de la détente du ressort à boudin 16, la sou pape d'admission 8 étant éloignée de son siège sous l'effet de la dépression créée à l'intérieur de la poire lorsque celle-ci revient à sa position de repos.
L'inhalateur, dans une variante représentée dans les fig. 6 à 8, comprend un corps central creux 23, de forme générale cylindrique. La partie antérieure 24, rétrécie, du corps 23 est engagée directement dans le support 6 de la poire 7. La partie médiane 25 du corps 23 forme une chambre 26 dans laquelle est logée la substance pulvérulente dont l'achemine ment à travers le tuyau flexible est obtenu par l'ou verture d'une soupape 27 de refoulement.
Cette sou pape 27, formée d'un disque, est retenue, lorsqu'elle est éloignée de son siège par la pression exercée sur la poire, par une goupille 28 logée dans la paroi cir culaire de ladite partie médiane.
La partie postérieure du corps 23 est fixée de manière amovible sur l'extrémité antérieure d'un manchon 29 par un emmanchement du genre dé nommé à baïonnette 30, l'extrémité postérieure dudit manchon étant engagée dans le tuyau flexible 20.
Le fonctionnement de l'inhalateur dans cette variante est le même que celui décrit ci-dessus. L'inhalateur décrit a pour but d'être utilisé, notamment par les médecins et les vétérinaires, pour le traitement de certaines maladies, afin d'amener un soulagement, une cautérisation ou guérison de la par tie malade par insufflation d'une poudre médicinale.

The inhaler, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, includes a body. hollow 1, for example of generally cylindrical shape, provided at its front part with a collar 2 (fig. 2 and 3) intended to penetrate into the lower end 3 (fig. 4 and 5) with a sleeve 4 of generally cylindrical.
The upper end 5, narrowed, of said sleeve, is engaged in the hollow .support 6 of a pear 7, made of rubber, provided at its free end with an air suction valve 8, of usual construction.
The inner wall 9 of the collar 2 forms with the inner wall 10 of the sleeve 4 a receptacle intended to contain a pulverulent substance 11 (FIG. 1). In the central recess 12 of the hollow body 1 is housed a discharge valve 13, the seat of which is formed by a plug 14 fixed by screwing in said recess. The rod 15 of the valve 13 is engaged in a coil spring 16 resting on the orifice 17 (fig. 2) of a retracted part of the central recess 12.
The rear part 18 (fig. 1) of the hollow body 1 is engaged in one of the ends 19 of a flexible pipe 20, for example of plastic material, the other end 21 of which is fixed in a hollow end piece 22. acorn-shaped.
By compressing the bulb 7, the slow pulverized substance 11, expelled under the effect of the pressure in the hollow body 1 by moving away from its seat, formed by the stopper 14, the discharge valve 13, is discharged through the pipe. flexible 20 and expelled out of the acorn 22, the pressure exerted on the bulb having the effect of pressing the suction valve 8 against its seat.
By decompressing the bulb 7, the discharge valve 13 is pressed against its seat under the effect of the relaxation of the coil spring 16, the inlet valve 8 being moved away from its seat under the effect of the vacuum created at inside the pear when it returns to its rest position.
The inhaler, in a variant shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, comprises a hollow central body 23, of generally cylindrical shape. The anterior part 24, narrowed, of the body 23 is engaged directly in the support 6 of the bulb 7. The middle part 25 of the body 23 forms a chamber 26 in which is housed the pulverulent substance, the conveyance of which through the flexible pipe. is obtained by opening a discharge valve 27.
This valve 27, formed of a disc, is retained, when it is removed from its seat by the pressure exerted on the bulb, by a pin 28 housed in the circular wall of said middle part.
The rear part of the body 23 is removably attached to the front end of a sleeve 29 by a fitting of the so-called bayonet type 30, the rear end of said sleeve being engaged in the flexible pipe 20.
The operation of the inhaler in this variant is the same as that described above. The purpose of the inhaler described is to be used, in particular by doctors and veterinarians, for the treatment of certain diseases, in order to bring about relief, cauterization or healing of the sick part by insufflation of a medicinal powder. .
