Hydraulic actuator for quick closing of valves, in particular for the quick closing valves of turbines The invention relates to a hydraulic actuator for quick closing of valves, in particular for the quick closing valves of turbines.
There are already hydraulic drives for valves have become known, which piston essentially a spring-loaded and acted upon by pressure oil force piston for the actuation of the. Valve.
The object of the invention is d'ass, for example, a quick-action valve of a turbine should be closed in the shortest possible time, which is not achieved in the usual order of the hydraulic drives, and not because the power piston of the valve through the resulting vacuum above the Power piston is moved with a delay during the closing process. This disadvantage is largely avoided by the device according to the invention.
The invention consists in d'ass the housing of the hydraulic actuator has a space for the control oil, a space for the power oil and for the power piston actuating the drive spindle of the valve as well as a pressureless space concentrically surrounding the latter space that the space for the control oil is separated from the two other spaces by a table top with sealing surfaces, which seals the spaces against each other when the pressure is applied to the control oil, and removes the seal when the pressure is released in the event of an emergency.
The advantage of the invention is that the switching plate, which separates the space for the control oil from the space for the power oil when the valve is open, is lifted off by the power oil pressure when the pressure of the control oil is removed and thus the connection between the power oil chamber and the control oil chamber the shell space surrounding the power oil chamber.
The table top absorbs considerable switching forces (several tons) and quickly and safely releases a large cross-section for the pressure valley to drain from the power oil chamber and the control oil from the control oil chamber. As a result, the valve closed in a very short time. The power oil flows, pressed by the spring-loaded power piston, over the large circumferential cross-section around the power oil chamber and behind the power piston to the drain.
The table top with its two seating surfaces forms both the end of the pressure chamber under the power piston (power oil chamber) and the end of the quick-acting oil chamber from the opposite side of the table top to the unpressurized chamber of the piston.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment is shown schematically according to the invention.
In a housing 27, the indexing plate 11 is arranged on which is guided on the valve spindle 24 of the valve 18. The table top has two sealing surfaces 12 and 13, whereby the control oil chamber 14 and the power oil chamber 15 are sealed against the latter surrounding shell space 26 abge. The delimitation of the power oil space from the shell space is achieved by the sleeve 20, which is also provided with a stop 19 to limit the stroke movement of the power piston 16.
The power piston 16 is loaded by the spring 17 and also has a damping device 28. The drain from the pressureless spaces 26 and 30 is denoted by 21, while the inflow for the power oil is denoted by 22 on the piston top.
The space for the control oil is acted upon by the supply 29 with a pressure oil coming from a control device which is not shown in the drawing. An opening 23 is provided in the table top 11 so that the control oil can flow continuously. In addition, the table top is still loaded by the spring 25.
The mode of operation is roughly as follows: As long as the control oil chamber 14 is depressurized, power oil flows through an inlet orifice into the power oil chamber 15 and via a gap opening in the virtually unloaded table top 11 into the drain chamber 26. This constant oil flow guarantees a closed valve 18 adequate cooling of the entire facility.
To open the valve 18, quick-acting pressure oil is fed into the control oil chamber 14, the indexing plate 11 is pressed onto its seat surfaces and thereby closes the power oil chamber 15 and the control oil chamber 14 so that the power oil chamber extends through the inlet orifice to its full valve opening corresponding position fills up. In the open state, the power piston 16 rests against a stop 19 of the sleeve 20 which delimits it.
Any recesses on the outer circumference of the power piston allow the necessary amount of cooling oil to pass through. In addition, a small opening 23 prevents the pressure oil in the control oil chamber from coming to a standstill.
In the event of an emergency shutdown, the load on the control oil side of the table top 11 is canceled. The forces for opening the indexing plate initially correspond to the full power oil pressure on the surface of the power piston 16. As the stroke of the plate 11 increases and the drainage gap in the power oil chamber increases, the oil pressure resulting from spring, steam, friction and inertia forces determines the opening force of the power piston.
The quickly reached end cross-section ensures the shortest possible closing times of valve 18. At the end of the valve stroke, damping sets in so as not to exceed the permissible end speed.
