Beiden Arten haften Nach teile an.
Shut-off valve The invention relates to a shut-off valve for gaseous and liquid media with a rotary handle that causes an axial valve stem displacement by rotation.
The known valves are actuated either by a screw-down spindle or by a bayonet lock. Both types have disadvantages.
The object of the invention is to provide an improved and simpler shut-off valve, the particular advantage of which is the absolute safety and the ease of use.
According to the invention, a shut-off valve for liquid and gaseous media, the rotary handle of which causes an axial displacement of the valve stem by rotation, characterized in that the rotary handle positively connected to the valve stem is provided with a control element which engages with stationary sliding elements .
According to a preferred embodiment, the valve stem is guided coaxially in a valve dome fastened in the valve housing perpendicular to the flow path, and the rotary handle carrying the control element has a cylindrical recess extending over the valve dome, on the outer surface of which the control element is provided.
According to a preferred embodiment, the control element is a circular, endless or finite cam path with at least one cam corresponding to a valve switching position and a cam height.
As an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the drawing shows a quick-acting diaphragm shut-off valve. The figures show: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through an open valve, FIG. 2 a longitudinal section through a closed valve, FIG. 3 a bottom view of a rotary handle with a built-in control element, FIG. 4 a cross section through a control element cut in the middle, FIG FIG. 5 shows a development of a control element curve, and FIG. 6 shows a further development of another control element curve.
The diaphragm valve shown in Fig. 1 consists of a valve housing 1 with the flow bores 2 and 3, a valve seat 4, an elastic mem brane 5 with a sealing washer 6 and a valve stem 8 that actuates the diaphragm and is guided in a valve dome 7. The valve stem is actuated by a rotary handle 9, which can only be rotated relative to it, but not axially displaced. The twist grip and valve stem are non-positively connected to each other and therefore perform the same axial displacements when the valve is switched.
To achieve the required pitch of the rotary handle or the plunger, a control element 11 is installed in a correspondingly large recess 10 of the handle. On the other hand, the valve dome 7 diametrically penetrating transverse axis 13 with rollers 12 is provided at the ends, which cooperate positively with the control element. Since this transverse axis is fixed in terms of height in the dome by means of precise fitting bores, the rotary handle carries out an axial displacement when turning according to the cam path of the control element.
This axial displacement is then transmitted through the rotary handle front wall 15 to the plunger, which in the exemplary embodiment is kept freely moving relative to the transverse axis due to a correspondingly large groove 14 or slot in the plunger. In the example this groove extends to the upper end of the joint. A spring washer 16 can be inserted between the plunger and the base of the rotary handle recess 10. The ram head carries a cover plate 17 provided with press-in rings. A disk 18 can be inserted between the spring disk and the base of the rotary handle recess.
The spring washer acts to close the valve. Their travel is only small; it serves as a spring reserve to compensate for the elasticity of the sealing washer 6 in the closed position. The metal spring washer can also be replaced by another spring element, such as a helical spring, a rubber buffer or the like.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the valve dome is pressed into the valve housing 1, which has a recess 26 at this point. Upsetting tabs 19 overlap the dome base for this purpose. With the help of this pressing, which can of course also be reached by means of a screw connection, the mem brane 5 is also pressed in at the same time. This membrane is perforated in the middle for the implementation of the plunger neck.
On this neck, the sealing washer 6 and a washer 21 between the flexible Mem brane and the sealing washer is drawn to increase the holder and service life. A head-like end of the ram neck, z. B. a screw 20 or a rivet (not shown) holds these parts firmly together. On the opposite side of the membrane, the plunger has a stop disk 22, which on the one hand rests against the membrane and on the other hand can come to a stop in the valve open position on the valve diaphragm base.
The plunger 8 consists of two parts. One part, the diaphragm carrier, is formed by the stop disk 22 with a threaded bolt 23. The other part, which interacts with the rotary handle, consists of a cylindri's guide piece with the groove 14 and a threaded sleeve-like approach 24 offset from this. The threaded bolt is precisely fitted into the threaded sleeve, so that a screw connection of the two parts is created.
This screw connection offers the advantage of a certain adjustability of the plunger to compensate for manufacturing tolerances. This screw connection is secured against automatic turning out of the set position by means not shown. A compression spring 25 is supported on the one hand on the upper tappet part and on the other hand on the dome base, so that there is a spring effect in the sense of the valve opening.
The control element 11 can consist of opposite guide grooves in the rotary handle for the castors. For this purpose it is sufficient if the grooves have a length which is sufficient to carry out the rotation required for the valve switching. According to one of the preferred embodiments, the control is formed from a single stamped construction part (Fig. 3 and 4) and consists of a retaining flange 30 and an uninterrupted curved path 31, which is circular in normal projection. As a result of the transverse axis engagement on both sides in the curved path, this has two symmetrically arranged cure valleys and heights.
A detent 32 is provided on the curve heights corresponding to the valve closed position in order to prevent the transverse axis 13 from being automatically pushed out of this position. The all-round switching of this embodiment is now made possible by the fact that the curve path does not end with the curve extreme corresponding to a valve position, but continues with a curve which is identical to the curve in front of the curve extreme. With such a symmetrically designed curve profile, switching is not only possible in one, but rather in every direction of rotation.
If a double-sided symmetrical cam is shown in this embodiment, the invention is not limited to it alone. Of course, the all-round switching is also possible with only one or more than two curve heights or valleys on a circumference. The invention can also be implemented with a control link with a lower (exemplary embodiment) and upper curve path (not shown). Depending on the training, in particular the intended spring pressure loading of the valve to be controlled, of course only an upper, i.e. H. be arranged with its effective path surface facing in the direction of the valve seat control cam.
In this case, the cam track could be particularly favorably molded into the twist grip during its manufacture. The retaining flange 30 of the control element is appropriately designed handle shape according to the rotation. At the two ends it has bores 33 for attaching to the rotary handle, for. B. by means of the head screws 34 on. In the exemplary embodiment, the cam track 31 is pressed out of the holding flange. For example, a web 35 with a horizontal slide 36 is formed. With this design, a sufficiently wide curved slide can also be formed from a thin metal plate. Of course, the control can also be produced in other ways, such.
B. as a pressed piece with a wide, full curve web or as a cast piece. The curve valleys can also be in any other angular position to the flange, depending on the arrangement of the transverse axis. It is advantageous to attach the curve heights close to the fastening screws, since with this arrangement the increased load in the valve closed position can be better absorbed. (The embodiment shows an opposite order for graphical reasons). Finally, of course, the control element can consist of several parts.
Contrary to the prescribed, endless control curves, the control element can also have a finite curved path in a further exemplary embodiment. Examples of this are shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 as developed curves. The positions 40, 41, 42 and 43 mean end and intermediate positions; however, they can also be intended for special valve switching processes.
The twist grip 9 is expediently made of plastic or cast metal. Its shape is diamond or elliptical (Fig. 3). With this handle design, it is possible to make the respective setting of the valve visible and tangible even in the dark. Analogously, the rotary handle is then in the open position with its longitudinal axis in the flow direction and in the closed position, however, perpendicular to this. Accordingly, the control cams are also expediently designed in such a way that a full pitch of the ram is achieved when the rotary handle is turned by 90.
