Die bisher bekannten derartigen Tragorgane für einen Förderer einer Streichhölzermaschine weisen den Nachteil auf, dass das automatische Füllen der im Tragorgan vorhandenen Aufnahmeräume mit Streichholzsplinten dadurch Schwierigkeiten ergibt;
Nachstehend werden an Hand der Zeichnung zwei in dieser dargestellte beispielsweise Ausführungsfor men der erfindungsgemässen Tragorgans näher erläu tert. Es zeigen Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht eines Tragorgans ; Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt des Tragorgans ; Fig. 3 einen Teil des Tragorgans in grösserem Masstab ;
Circulating specific support member for the match pins, a conveyor of a match machine The invention relates to a specific support member for the match pins, a conveyor of a match machine, which support member is provided with receiving spaces in each of which a match pin can be clamped,
which receiving spaces have parts with cross-sectional areas of different sizes in the longitudinal direction.
The previously known such support members for a conveyor of a match machine have the disadvantage that the automatic filling of the receiving spaces in the support member with match pins results in difficulties;
that although match pins of different strengths can be clamped in these accommodation spaces, these accommodation spaces are so short that only one end of the match wood splints can be inserted into these accommodation spaces, while the remaining part of the pins protrudes from these accommodation spaces.
The support member according to the invention differs from this known support member in that the cross-sectional area of the receiving space parts lying on the feed side of the support member for the match pins is greater than the cross-sectional area of the match pins for which the support member is true, which part of the receiving space is a longitudinal part of the receiving space form,
that the clamped matchstick pins protrude only with one end part over the support member and are held by these receiving space parts in at least approximately vertical position to the feed side of the organ, and that these receiving space parts are followed by receiving space parts with a smaller cross-sectional area,
into which the match pin with the other end part can be pressed to clamp it. This has the advantage that the match pins can be held in the support member before they have been pressed into the parts of the receiving spaces with a smaller cross section.
This pushing in can. thereby be able to be carried out in a simple manner at a point that is affected by the point where the split pins z. B. fall into the receiving spaces of the support member, is removed, whereby the machine is designed simpler and it may be possible to work faster.
An advantageous embodiment of the support member according to the invention, for example, is characterized in that the part of the support member in which the receiving spaces are attached consists of at least two parts which have recesses of different cross-sectional areas to form the receiving spaces, the or each part,
in which the receiving space parts with a larger cross-sectional area than that of the split pins are seen before, made of a cheap material, such. B. wood or ebonite, while the or any other part in which the receiving space parts are provided with a smaller cross-sectional area, made of a wear-resistant, elastic material, for. B. nylon.
The or each part of the support member in which the receiving space parts with a larger cross-sectional area are located can consist of wood, ebonite, aluminum or some other cheap material without disadvantage, since the pins can only lie loosely in these space parts,
so that their walls are practically not subject to wear and tear. Since in the remaining part or in each of the other parts of the receiving space parts with a smaller cross-sectional area the pins are to be clamped by pressing them in, this part or each of these parts is advantageously made of wear-resistant material that is sufficiently elastic to hold the matchstick pins ,
which are themselves to some extent elastic, to be able to hold on tightly. However, this part or each of these parts advantageously has a thickness which is significantly smaller than that of the first-mentioned part or parts, so that it can bring about a significant saving if only the or each part in which the receiving space parts are located with a smaller cross-sectional area, instead of the entire support member is made of wear-resistant material.
As a material for this part, instead of nylon, other materia lien that are sufficiently elastic can of course be used. In the case of a part of the support member containing the receiving spaces and comprising two or more parts, each of these parts can also have a simple shape so that they can be produced quickly, which can further reduce the production price of the support member. A very simple and cheap to be manufactured support member can be achieved with two parts forming the receiving spaces, in which the receiving space parts z. B. are conical.
In this case, care is advantageously taken that at the point of transition from one conical receiving space part to the other conical receiving space part, the cross-sectional area of these space parts is the same size or almost the same size.
Two examples of embodiments of the support member according to the invention shown in this figure are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. 1 shows a plan view of a support member; 2 shows a longitudinal section of the support member; 3 shows a part of the support member on a larger scale;
4 shows part of another embodiment of the support member, also on a larger scale compared to FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1-3, the supporting element for the match pins, which serves as a revolving part of a conveyor of a matchstick machine, consists of an upper plate 1 and a lower plate 2, between which a cotter pin is provided with receiving spaces 3 Part 4 is provided, which is advantageously made of plastic, e.g. B.
Nylon (super-polyamides) or terylene;> (polyester of terephthalic acid, registered trademark) or made of another artificial or natural material that is just as wear-resistant and so elastic that the match pins can be held firmly in the receptacles if they are pressed into this.
The upper plate 1 and the lower plate 2 have holes 5 and 6, corresponding to the receiving spaces in part 4, with a cross-sectional area which is larger than that of the split pins that have to be inserted into the support member. Each receiving space has in the longitudinal direction, starting from the supply line of the organ for the pins, a first part 7 with a larger cross-sectional area than the cross-sectional area of a matchstick to be brought into this part.
This part 7 merges with a conical transition part 8 in a second, cylindrical part 9, which has a smaller cross-section than the part 7 and which merges with a short conical part 10 in a third cylindrical part 11 of even smaller cross-section. This cylindrical part 11 merges with a conical part 12 into a hole 6 in the lower plate 2.
The upper plate 1, the lower plate 2 and the part 4 provided with the receiving spaces 3 are united by means of rivets 13 to form a solid whole, which can have rollers 14 at its ends, as at the left end of the organ in FIGS. 1 and 2 is shown so that the support member can easily revolve in guides of the conveyor. The ends of the support member can also be rounded abge for its guidance, as shown in the right parts of FIGS.
When the receiving spaces 3 are filled with match pins, these are pressed with the front end part in a manner known per se, not shown, by an up and down movable pressure device in the receiving space parts 10 or 11, which have a smaller cross-section than the pins, so that these cotter pins are reliably clamped in it.
The receiving space parts 7-9, which have a larger cross-section than the cotter pins, form such a longitudinal part of the receiving space 3 that a cotter pin clamped in the latter protrudes only with the rear end part of the support member and through the parts 7-9 to the supply side of the organ is kept at least approaching vertical position.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, between tween the top plate 1 and the bottom plate 2, two parts 17 and 18 each provided with receiving space parts 15 and 16, respectively, are attached. Each space part 15 corresponds to one of the space parts 16.
The part 17 is advantageously made of wood, ebonite, aluminum or some other cheap, preferably lightweight material, while the part 18 is preferably made of wear-resistant material that is so elastic that one end part enters the receiving space parts 16 of the part 18 pressed matchstick pins can be clamped. The material for this can be, for. B. nylon or terylene can be used.
As can be seen from Fig. 4, the receiving space parts 15 and 16 are conical. The cross-sectional area of the two receiving space parts 15 and 16 is at the point where these receiving space parts touch each other, the same size or almost the same size, and larger than the cross-sectional area of the matchstick pins to be clamped in the holding member, so that the pins are not at risk when being filled into the support member to hit the surface of a shoulder formed by part 18.
Because the cross-sectional area of the receiving spaces is greatest on the feed side of the support member for the split pins, the split pins can easily be introduced into the receiving spaces. Through the conical inner wall of the receiving space parts 15, the split pins are fed to the conical receiving space parts 16, the cross sections of which in the narrower end part are smaller than the split pin cross-sectional area. Because the receiving space parts 16 are conical, match pins of different cross-sections can be clamped in these receiving space parts,
where they are again held by the wall of the other space parts 15 and protrude only with the other end part, the support organ.
In the steel plates 1 and 2 of the support member holes 5 and 6 are again attached, which oppose the Aufnah meraumteile 15 and 16 respectively.
The receiving space parts 15 in Fig. 4 could, if necessary, also have a mainly round or rectangular cross-section, while the receiving space parts 16 could also have a gradually decreasing cross-section, with a short conical transition part advantageously provided between these two receiving space parts. Instead of two parts, three or more parts with receiving space parts can also be present between the two plates 1 and 2.
Of course, the support member can also be produced without an upper and / or lower plate, in which case the parts which contain the recesses for the receiving spaces are connected to one another by rivets or in some other way.
